USEFUL INFORMATION
Toasting the bread is a process of drying and cooking. Cooking time will
vary depending on the moisture levels and thickness of the bread.
Drier bread will probably need a lower setting than normal.
Fresh or whole wheat bread will need a higher setting than normal and
uncut or uneven bread. Thicker cut bread, muffins or crumpets will take longer
to toast since they may have more moisture to be evaporated before browning
and may need to be toasted twice.Again lower the browning control and keep
a careful eye on the toaster to ensure that the toast does not burn.
Remove any loose fruit or bread particles before toasting to prevent pieces
falling into the toaster or sticking to the heating elements or the guard wire.
When toasting a single slice set the browning control to a lighter setting
than normal as the toaster is designed to heat the two toasting slots.
CAUTION
Never force foods into toasting slot. Foods should fit freely between the

guard wires.
Do not toast buttered bread.
Uneven toasting is usually due to bread slices of uneven thickness.
Never touch the internal parts of the toaster with a brush or with any other
implement.
Bread may burn. Therefore toasters must not be used near or below
curtains and other combustible fuels must not be used with this appliance.
