cleaning jobs over medium-large areas.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The following preliminary operations must be carried out before scooter is
used:
a - Check that the batteries are efficient;
b - Check that the power supply cables are corrects connected to the battery, in
compliance with the polarities;

SAFETY DEVICE (see fig.3 and 4)
The scooter is equipped with a series of safety devices to protect:
• Driver
• The people near the machine
• The machine itself
S1 - Driver on the seat.
The scooter is able to start only if the driver is on the seat.
S2 - Key-accelerator train.
The scooter doesn't start if when you are switching-on, accelerator is not clear
(“0”).
S3 - Accelerator breakdown.
The scooter doesn't start or stops by itself if already moving, in case of potenti-
ometer or accelerator wire break down.
S4 - Drive card control breakdown.
The scooter doesn't start or stops by itself if already moving, in case of MOS-
FET break down.
S5 - Too high temperatures.
The scooter stops by itself when too long heavy work conditions mean danger-
ous temperature for drive system. You can start again, when the temperature is
lower than dangerous level.
S6 - Red button emergency.
In any working and driving conditions you can stop immediately the machine
pushing this red button (feeding disconnected)
S7 - Reverse drive direction. If the driver, unfortunately or not, tries to reverse
drive direction when the machine is moving, automatically the scooter stops by
its electronic brake. This means that you can change the drive direction when
the machine is stopped only.
FUSES
There are n°3 fuses to protect electric and electronic system. The fuses lay-out
is as follow:
Ref. Type To protect Lay-out position
F1 Lamellar 50A Complete system Battery container
F2 Lamellar 10A CEV control Battery container
F3 Glass 3,15 A Battery charger card and trasf.
(only for model with battery
chrager)
Movable small drawer in
batter charger plug

8
SCOOTER STARTING
To start scooter:
a - The dryer must be seat (of course) to connect the feeding.
b - Clear accelerator (remember key accelerator train ) and verify that red but-
ton emergency is at the top position.
c - Turning starting key (“I” position).
d - Check |e battery level:
• If green, or yellow led is switch-on you can start the work:
• If red led switch-on you must recharge the batteries before to start.
e - Select the drive direction by switch forward “I” or reverse “II” and control
that indicator green led meets where you want to go.
f - Turn accelerator hand grip and select the speed, releasing this hand grip the
scooter automatically stops by its electronic brake.
REWERSE DRIVE
g - Release accelerator hand grip and, when the scooter is stopped,
more the switch to reverse position “II”;
h- Looking at the side mirror, verify that on one and nothing are on
reverse drive direction;
l - Turning accelerator hand grip.
SCOOTER STOPPING
It is possible to stop the machine in two different ways:
• SLOWLY- When you release the accelerator “1”, the scooter automatically
stops by its electronic brake, at the max speed (about 12 Km ) the breaking
range is about 5 mt.
• QUICKLY - Additionally to the electronic brake, you can use also mechanical
brake “2”. In this condition it’s possible to stop the machine in about 2,5 mt.
SWITCHING ON THE LIGHT
Set the switch (5) to pos. “A” to switch off the light; set it to pos. “B” to switch
on the light.

9
USING THE FORONT MOP (optional)
The horizon of the front mop can be regulated. To
do this, sit on the machine and operate the pedal with the foot.
This pedal can be set in three different points, consequently allowing the mop
to assume three different positions.
Before starting work, check that the cleaning mop has been correctly inserted
on to the arms and that it is held in place by the relative lacing.
When not in use, the mop will be raised from the floor and the pedal will be set
to position “X” (fully down). Release the pedal and allow it to set to position
“Y” (intermediate position) to lower the mop on to the floor, keeping the two
side extensions vertically raised.
Set the pedal to position “Z” (fully up) to lower the side extensions on to the
floor and achieve the greatest possible cleaning range.
The horizontal position of the two mop extensions can be regulated by hand by
inserting the arms into the holes in the center unit .
USING THE REAR MOP (optional)
The rear mop must be manually positioned by the operator.
To mount the mop unit, fit the pin into the towing hook and lock it in place
with the relative plug .
Now couple the spring to prevent it from slipping out.
Keep the mop raised or resting on the floor by moving the unit along the posi-
tioning slot .
The side extensions can be positioned and oriented as described for the front
mop.

10
BATTRY RECHARGING OPERATIONS
First of all don't forget that
• Green led (9) means 100% batteries charge level.
• Yellow led (10) means 50% batteries charge level.
• Red led (11) means batteries level not able to work-batteries must be re-
charged immediately.
The following operation-train must be made to obtain a correct batteries re-
charging:
a) Switch-off the scooter (starting key “8” in “O” position).
b1) If the scoter is fitted with batteries charger, using the cable in the battery
compartment you can connect the plug with the line (220V).
b2) If the scoter is without batteries charger on board, you must connect the
batteries with an outside batteries charger.
d - When the batteries get the top charging level, green led “9” switch’s-on.
e - Disconnecting the cable “P4”, the scooter is ready to work again.
BATTERY CHARGE CONTROL CARD
The card has the following safety systems:
• In the case the operator connect the battery charger to the network (see point
“B” in section “BATTERY RECHARGING OPERATIONS”) before shutting
off the scooter, as seen at the “A” point in the same section, the scooter auto-
matically stops at the moment in which connecting cable is inserted in plug.
• When a predefined tension, near the maximal tension, is reached an automatic
timer begin to let the battery charger completing the charge, and then discon-
nect the batteries to avoid dangerous superheating.

11
REPLACING THE CARBON BRUSHES OF THE ELECTRIC MOTOR
Check the condition of the brushes (6) and armature after every 200 work
hours.
Proceed in the following way:
a - Lift the front part of the machine or set it so that its front side can be in-
spected.
b - Open the motor (9) covers (7).
c –Release the brush retention spring (8) and remove the brushes (6).
d - Check the condition of the brushes and replace them if they are worn.
e - Clean the armature and remount all parts, implying with the above proce-
dure in reverse.
REPLACING THE TIMING BELTS
Periodically check the condition of the timing belts.
If they are excessively worn, replace them in the following way:
a - Place “JOLLY” on a bench so that work can be carried out in the front part
under the body.
b - Slacken nut (1) on the belt side and sufficiently remove the pin (2) from the
opposite side so that spacer “3” can be taken out.
c - Loosen the belts (4-5), by slackening both the transmission fixing screw (6)
and that holding the motor in plan.
d - Remove the worn belts and replace them with new ones.
e - Re-position the spacer (3), the pin (2) and tighten the previously removed
nut (1) to fix the wheel.
f - Correctly tighten the belts, then tighten the transmission (6) and electric mo-
tor screws.
