SHOWER CHAIR REKO SOFT,
ADJUSTABLE
Intended Use: Shower chair Reko Soft is designed
to use in the shower. The chair has a stable, fully
welded construction and has arm supports to
facilitate getting up. The seat is soft and heat
insulated. Backrest is available as an accessory
and can be ordered separately from Swereco.

Safety Instructions:
•This product must only be used for its intended purpose.
•The chair is not intended for use in a bathtub.
•The chair must be placed on a flat surface with all four legs firmly on the ground.
•The chair must not be angled in such a position that it only stands on two legs when the user is
sitting on it. Maximum user weight is calculated with all four legs on the floor.
•The chair must not be moved while the user is sitting on it.
•The rubber tips must be checked regularly. Damaged or worn tips could cause deteriorated grip
on the floor and should be replaced. These can be ordered through Swereco.
•If the chair is set in a slight forward-leaning position, the maximum height difference between the
front and rear legs may not exceed 2,5 cm, which corresponds to one step on the height
adjustment of the legs.
•Before use, make sure the clips for height adjustment are securely fastened.
•If replacing clips, make sure they are the correct size, 25 mm (different sizes available).
•In the event of signs of wear in the height adjustment or that the product is otherwise worn out,
the chair should be taken out of use and sent in for service.
•When using a backrest, make sure it is correctly assembled.

Instructions for Use:
1. For height adjustment, push the clip off the leg, adjust to the correct height and then push the clip
back in. Make sure the clip is securly fastened before use. If an old clip is replaced with a new
one, check that it is the correct size, 25 mm.
2. Check the rubber tips before use. Damaged/worn rubber tips must be replaced with new ones.
3. If the shower chair is set in a slight forward-leaning position, the difference in height between the
front and rear legs may not exceed 2.5 cm, which corresponds to a step on the height adjustment.
Care instructions: Clean regularly and whenever necessary (at least once a week) with soap
solution, pH 5-9. When changing the user, the product must be disinfected and then autoclaved at
a maximum 85°for 3 minutes. Alternatively wipe it with 70% isopropanol.

Assembly of Backrest:
Place the backrest on the
chair so that it is wedged
and that the holes in the
backrest are in line with the
holes in the chair.
Secure the backrest with
screw and nut as shown.
