2T02-00034-ABAA Telemetry Cable/Horn Relay
© Tait Limited November 2012
Relay and Relay Driver
The cable is supplied with a relay (rated 12V/30A,
with built-in suppression diode) and a relay socket
(including crimp terminals).
Although the product can drive any similar automotive
relay with a 12V coil that draws no more the 500mA in
operation, Tait recommends a type with a built-in suppres-
sion diode for EMC purposes but this is not required for
correct operation of the product.
The relay driver of the T02-00034-ABAA is controlled by AUX_GPIO4 which must be
programmed as an Active Low output. Refer to the Help of the radio programming
application for more information.
Interface Information
The relay outputs of the T02-00034-ABAA cable are protected by two SMD fuses located
on the circuit board inside the connector housing. For servicing information refer to the
radio’s service manual.
