CONSIGNAS DE SEGURIDAD
COMPLEMENTARIAS
1. Antes de conectar la maquina a la
alimentación eléctrica, asegúrese de que la
hoja esta correctamente fijada, que la llave
no ha quedado en la tuerca de apriete de la
hoja, que la mesa giratoria, el porta-hoja, etc.,
están correctamente regulados y que todos
los sistemas de fijación están correctamente
apretados.
2. Desconecte el cable de alimentación
antes de colocar la herramienta, instalar los
accesorios, regular el ángulo del porta-hoja,
cambiar la hoja, etc.
3. Antes de poner la maquina bajo tensión,
compruebe que los sistemas de protección
y de seguridad de la herramienta funcionan
correctamente y no están dañados.
4. No hacer funcionar la maquina si los
sistemas de protección y de seguridad no
están colocados.
5. Sustituir la guía o los insertos de la mesa
cuando uno de ellos este gastado
6. No utilice la maquina para cortar materiales
que no sean madera u otros materiales
similares.
7. Utilice solamente las hojas recomendadas
por el fabricante
8. Cuando sierre, conecte la maquina a un
recuperador de polvo
9. Seleccione las hojas adaptadas al material a
cortar.
10. Tome todas las precauciones necesarias
cuando haga muescas
11. Después de que la maquina haya sido
puesta bajo tensión, NO INTENTE NUNCA
PARAR la rotación con la hoja manualmente.
12. Durante el corte, la pieza a trabajar debe
apoyarse contra la guía y permanecer estable.
13. Espera que la hoja haya alcanzado
su velocidad máxima antes de ponerla en
contacto con la pieza a trabajar y comenzar el
corte.
14. Cuando el trabajo de corte esté terminado,
desconecte inmediatamente a maquina luego
deje que el porta-hoja vuelva a su posición alta
y bloquéelo.
15. Limpie la salida de aire de la herramienta
con un cepillo o un trapo para que el motor se
enfríe normalmente.
16. No utilice hojas dañadas o deformadas.
17. No regule el ángulo de corte mientras la
maquina este en funcionamiento.
18. Lleve siempre casco antirruido y gafas de
protección para trabajar. Se recomienda el uso
de guantes.
19. No cortar leños, ramas o piezas de metal
(aleación ligera, acero, etc.) con esta maquina.
20. No ejercer una presión lateral sobre la hoja
para parar su rotación.
21. Mantener las empuñaduras limpias y
exentas de aceite o de grasa.
22. LASER: no fijar el haz, no dirigir el haz
hacia personas o animales.

INSTRUCCIONES GENERALES DE
SEGURIDAD
NO DEJAR AL ALCANCE DE LOS NIÑOS

EMBALÑAJE. RIESGO DE SOFOCACION.
Atención! Cuando use herramientas
eléctricas deberá tomar siempre ciertas
precauciones básicas de seguridad para evitar
el riesgo de incendios, descargas eléctricas
y daños personales. Antes de usar este
producto lea con atención estas instrucciones
y guárdelas para posterior referencia.
Para mayor seguridad:
• Si la presión sonora de la maquina supera
los 85 dB(A), le recomendamos que tome las
medidas adecuadas para la protección de los
oídos.
• Mantenga despejada la zona de trabajo. Las
zonas de trabajo y los bancos desordenados
son más propensos a que se produzcan daños
personales.
• Cuide la zona de trabajo: No exponga la
herramienta a la lluvia, ni la use en ambientes
húmedos o lluviosos. Mantenga el área de
trabajo perfectamente iluminada. No la use
cuando suponga riesgo de fuego o explosión.
• Protéjase contra descarga eléctrica: Evite
el contacto corporal con elementos de masa
(tuberías, radiadores, frigorícos).
• Mantenga a los niños alejados: No deje que
otras personas toquen la herramienta o el
cable. Manténgalas alejadas de la zona de
trabajo.
• Guarde las herramientas cuando no las use:
Guárdelas en un lugar seco, alto y cerrado,
fuera del alcance de los niños.
• No fuerce la herramienta: Funcionara mejor
y de forma mas segura a la velocidad para la
que esta diseñada.
• Use la herramienta adecuada: No fuerce
las herramientas o accesorios pequeños
utilizándolos en trabajos de herramientas
pesadas. No use las herramientas para
trabajos para los que no están diseñadas: por
ejemplo, no use una sierra circular para cortar
troncos o leña.
• Lleve ropa apropiada. No lleve ropa suelta
ni bisutería; podría engancharse en las partes
móviles. Cuando trabaje en exteriores, le
recomendamos usar guantes de goma y
calzado que no resbale. No lleve el pelo
suelto; recójaselo con algo que lo cubra.
• Use gafas de seguridad: Si además se
produce polvo, lleve una mascara o mascarilla.
• No tire del cable: No lleve la herramienta
por el cable ni tire de él para desenchufarla.
Mantenga el cable alejado del calor, la grasa y
los bordes cortantes.
• Sujete la pieza de trabajo. Use abrazaderas
o un tornillo de banco para sujetar la pieza.
Es más seguro que usar las manos y así
tendrá las dos manos libres para manejar la
herramienta.
• No adopte posturas forzadas al usar la
herramienta: Manténgase en todo momento en
equilibrio sobre sus pies.
• Cuide las herramientas para mantenerlas
en buen estado: Manténgalas limpias y
afiladas, para que funcionen mejor. Siga
las instrucciones de lubricación y cambio
de accesorios. Inspeccione periódicamente
los cables y alargaderas y si presentan
algún defecto, llévelos a reparar a un centro
de servicio autorizado. Mantenga las

empuñaduras limpias, secas y sin aceite y
grasa.
• Desenchufe las herramientas cuando no las
use, antes de inspeccionarlas y cuando vaya a
cambiar accesorios como las cuchillas, brocas
y fresas.
• Quite las llaves de ajuste: Acostúmbrese a
comprobar siempre si ha quitado las llaves
de ajuste, antes de poner en marcha la
herramienta.
• Evite la puesta accidental: No lleve una
herramienta enchufada con el dedo en el
interruptor. Antes de enchufar la herramienta a
la corriente, compruebe si esta desconectada.

herramienta en exteriores, use solo
alargaderas especicadas para exteriores.
• Manténgase alerta: Mire lo que esta
haciendo. Use el sentido común. No use una
herramienta eléctrica cuando este cansado.
• Conecte el equipo de extracción de polvo:
Si dispone de la conexión del extractor y del
dispositivo de aspiración, asegúrese de su
correcta conexión y uso.
• Compruebe el estado de la herramienta:
Cuando un protector u otra pieza esta dañado,
antes de seguir usando la herramienta
revíselo con gran atención y compruebe si
funciona correctamente según el uso al que
esta destinado. Compruebe la alineación de
las piezas móviles, si hay piezas atascadas,
rotas, montadas y con cualquier otro defecto
o signo de que no van a funcionar bien. Si
no se indica otra cosa en el presente manual,
siempre que un protector o cualquier otra pieza
este dañado se debe sustituir inmediatamente
o reparar en un centro de servicio autorizado.
Lleve los interruptores defectuosos a un
centro de servicio autorizado para su cambio o
reparación. No use nunca la herramienta si el
interruptor no funciona perfectamente.
• Precauciones! El uso de accesorios o piezas
no recomendadas expresamente en este
manual de instrucciones puede representar
riesgos de daños personales.
• La reparación de la herramienta debe hacerla
una persona cualicada.
Esta herramienta eléctrica cumple todas las
normas de seguridad aplicables. Solo las
personas cualificadas deberán llevar a cabo
las reparaciones, usando piezas de recambio
originales. Si esto no se cumple, podría
resultar muy peligroso para el usuario.

How to use these instructions
All of the necessary diagrams can be found on
the first pages of this set of instructions. Within
the descriptions, you will be directed by cross-
references to the appropriate diagrams.
Before you begin…
Intended use
When used for its intended purpose, this
device corresponds to the state of the art, as
well as to the current safety requirements at
the time of its introduction.
The product permits two operating modes:
When used as a crosscut and mitre saw, it is
intended for cross cuts, mitred cuts, inclined
cuts and double mitre cuts in elongated
workpieces such as profiles and strips
When used as a circular bench saw, it is
intended for long and cross cutting of solid
wood, laminated wood, chipboard, wood-
core plywood and similar wood materials.
Round workpieces may only be sawed using a
suitable clamping system, otherwise they can
be twisted by the rotating saw blade.
Only materials for which the concerned saw
blade is approved can be processed.
The device is not suitable for commercial or
industrial use.
Any other type of use is inappropria te.
Improper use or modifications to the device or
the use of components that are not tested and
approved by the manufacturer may result in
unforeseen damage!
Any use that deviates from its intended use
and is not included in these instructions is
considered unauthorised use and relieves the
manufacturer from his or her legal liability.

Safety devices
Splitting wedge

The splitting wedge (16) prevents a workpiece
from being caught by the rising teeth and being
hurled against the operator.
The splitting wedge must always be mounted
during operation as a circular bench saw.
Swarf cover

The swarf cover (17) pr otec t s agains t
inadvertent touching of the saw blade and
against flying chips. The swarf cover must
always be mounted during operation as a
bench circular saw.
Slide rod
The slide rod (23) serves as an extension of
your hand and protects you against inadvertent
touching of the saw blade. The slide rod must
always be used if the distance between the
stop profile and saw blade is less than 120
mm.

Protective box

The protective box (24) protects against
inadvertent touching of the saw blade and
against flying chips. The protective box must
always be mounted during operation as a
crosscut and mitre saw.
Reciprocating protective hood

The reciprocating protective hood (5) protects
against inadvertent touching of the saw blade
and against flying chips.
When the tool arm is moved upwards during
operation as a crosscut saw, the saw blade
must be fully c o v ered by the twopiece
reciprocating protective hood. The reciprocating

protective hood closes automatically when the
tool arm is swung upwards.
Assembly
Note:
A second person is required for unpacking and
assembling the saw.
Folding out the supporting legs
• P. 5, item 4
– Place the product with saw bench downwards
on an even and adequately load-bearing
surface.
– Fold out the supporting legs as illustrated.
– Tighten the Tommy screws (25).
Setting up the product
• P. 6, item 5
– Turn the product over and place on an even
and adequately load-bearing surface.
– Undo the adjusting screw (26) until the
product is standing securely and does not
wobble.
– Tighten screw using counternut (27).
Attaching the wheels
• P. 6, item 5
– Tightly fasten the wheels to the product using
hex nuts (28) as illustrated.
Turn the saw bench over
DANGER!
Risk of injury due to accidental switch-on!
Disconnect the mains plug before carrying out
any work on the device.
WARNING!
Risk of crushing!
A risk of being crushed when turning the bench
saw over! Do not reach between bench
saw and side parts!
Hold the bench firmly so that it cannot suddenly
turn back over!
Make sure that the saw bench is adequately
locked to prevent accidental fold over!
Turning over into crosscut saw position
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
When used as a crosscut and mitre saw,the
saw blade when sawing protrudes below
the saw bench during the sawing operation.
The protective box must always be attached.

– Attach the hand wheel (21).
– Rotate saw blade fully downwards.
– Position the protective box (24) on the saw
bench as illustrated and tighten using screw
(29).
– Actuate the release lever (8) and carefully
turn over the saw bench.
– Allow the saw bench to securely engage.
• P. 6, item 7
– Gently push tool arm (3) downwards.
– Remove the safety bolts (12) and lock by
turning clockwise.
– Slowly guide the tool arm upwards.
– Attach the dust bag to the swarf remover (13)
or connect a swarf extractor.
Note:
The use of a swarf extractor is recommended
when processing larger volumes.

• P. 6, item 8
– Loosen Allen screws (30).
– Push the splitting wedge (16) upwards up to
the stop.
– Re-tighten the Allen screws.
Turning over into circular bench saw
position
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
When used as a circular bench saw, the saw
blade is freely accessible. Splitting wedge
and swarf cover must always be installed.

– Loosen Allen screws (30).
– Push the splitting wedge (16) downwards up
to the stop.
– Re-tighten the Allen screws.
• P. 6, item 9
– Allow the safety bolts (12) to engage by
turning clockwise.
– Gently push tool arm (3) to the stop.
– Actuate the release lever (8) and carefully
turn over the saw bench.
– Allow the saw bench to securely engage.
– Removing the protective box.
• P. 7, item 10
– Attach the hand wheel (21).
– Rotate the saw blade fully upwards.
– Insert the swarf cover (17) on the splitting
wedge until the bolts (31) audibly engage.
– Attach the dust bag to the swarf cover or
connect a swarf extractor.
Note:
The use of a swarf extractor is recommended
when processing larger volumes.
Operation
Check before switching on!
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
The product must only be put into operation if
no defects are found. Ensure that any
defective parts are replaced before the product
is used again.
Check the safe condition of the device:
– Check whether there are any visible defects.
– Check whether all parts of the product are
firmly attached.
– Check that the product is stable.
– Check that the safety devices are in faultless
condition.
– Check whether the saw bench is securely
engaged.
– Check whether the incline setting locking
screw is firmly tightened.

Setting the mitre angle
The mitre angle can be set steplessly between
-45° to 45°.
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
Always tighten the workpiece stop clamping
lever before sawing.

– Loosen the clamping lever at the workpiece
stop (6).
– Rotate the workpiece stop into the required
position.
The set mitre angle can be read from the scale
(32).
– Re-t ighten the clamping lever on th e
workpiece stop (6).
Setting the incline angle
The incline angle can be set steplessly
between 0° to 45°.
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
Always tighten the incline setting locking screw
before sawing.
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
Firmly hold the workpiece only on the right-
hand side for inclined cuts.

– Release safety screw (14).
– Incline the tool arm into the required position.
The set angle of inclination can be read from
the scale (33).
– Re-tighten the locking screw (14).
Sawing
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
The saw blade is more easily accessible due to
the severe inclination when double mitre
cutting. Maintain an adequate clearance from
the saw blade!
NOTICE!
Risk of product damage!
Press the tool arm onto the workpiece only so
that the motor revolutions do not drop too
low and does not overload the motor and
cause damage.

– Push the workpiece firmly against the saw
bench and against the workpiece stop.
– Press the release key (11) and On/Off switch
(10) simultaneously.
– Press and hold the On-Off switch.
– Move the tool arm slowly downwards and cut
through the workpiece in one work step.
– Release the On/Off switch and slowly move
the tool arm upwards.

Adjusting the cutting height
The cutting height of the saw blade must be
adjusted to the height of the workpiece.
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
Body parts or objects within the adjustment
range can get caught in the running saw
blade! Adjust the cutting height only when the
saw blade is stationary!

Note:
To compensate for any clearance when
adjusting the cutting height, always move the
saw blade into the required position from
below.

Adjusting saw blade tilting
To make inclined cuts, the saw blade inclination
can be set steplessly between 0° to 45°.
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
Body parts or objects within the adjustment
range can get caught in the running saw
blade! Adjust the saw blade tilting only when
the saw bade is at a standstill!

– Release safety screw (20).
– Incline the saw blade into the required
position by turning the setting screw (19).
– Re-tighten the locking screw (20).
Note:
To be able to use the full adjustment range
of 45°, the cutting height must be reduced
accordingly.
Sawing
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
If the clearance between parallel stop and saw
blade is less than 120 mm, the slide rod
must be used. • Slide rod – page 10

Risk of injury!
Small workpieces cannot be held securely.
Only saw workpieces that you can hold
firmly.
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
The flap of the On/Off switch must be always
closed, even if the operation is interrupted
for a short while, in order to protect the device
against unintentional switching on.

– Attach the hand wheel (21).
– Se t the c utting heigh t by turning the
handwheel to the required value.
Adjusting saw blade tilting
To make inclined cuts, the saw blade inclination
can be set steplessly between 0° to 45°.

– Release safety screw (20).
– Incline the saw blade into the required
position by turning the setting screw (19).
– Re-tighten the locking screw (20).
Sawing
– Push the parallel stop (18) along the guide
rail to the front side of the saw bench.
The clearance from the parallel stop to the saw
blade can be read from the scale (35).
– Tighten the parallel stop by pushing the lever
(36) down.
– Push the cross stop (15) into the guide rail on
the left side of the saw bench.
The cross stop can be adjusted by a maximum
of 60° for mitre cuts.
– Loosen the locking screw (31), set the
required angle and re-tighten the locking
screw.
The set angle can be read from the scale (38).
– Set the cutting height of the saw blade (•

– Switch on the product = open the flap over
the On/Off switch (22); press the green switch
[1].
– Saw through the workpiece in one work step.
– Switch the device off it you will not be
working with it again immediately. Switch off =
Press red switch [0]; close flap.

Changing the saw blade
DANGER!
Risk of death through electric shock!
Disconnect the mains plug before carrying out
any work on the device.
To change the saw blade, the product must be
brought to the crosscut saw position.

DANGER!
Risk of burns!
Shortly after commencing sawing, the saw
blade can become very hot. There is a risk of
burning! Let a hot saw blade cool down. Never
clean a hot saw blade using flammable liquids.
Risk of being cut even with a stationary saw
blade! Wear gloves when changing the saw
blade.
Removing the saw blade
• P. 7, item 14
– Press the release button (11) and carefully
push the reciprocating protective hood (5)
upwards.
– Push and hold down spindle lock (39).
– Undo the tensioning screw (40) clockwise
(Caution! left-hand thread!)
– Carefully pull off the clamping flange (41) and
saw blade (4).
Installing saw blade
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
The tensioning screw should not be tightened
too tight.
NOTICE!
Risk of product damage!
It is imperative to observe the rotational
direction of the saw blade and clamping flange
when fitting!
When fitting, make sure that the saw blade is
positioned correctly on the motor shaft.
– If necessary, clean all parts to be assembled
before installation.
– • Removing the saw blade
Installation in reverse order.
Storage and transport
Storage
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Store the product so that it cannot be started
up by unauthorised persons. Ensure that
nobody can injure themselves on the product
while it is stationary.
NOTICE!

Risk of product damage!
Do not store the product unprotected in a
humid environment.
– To store, place the product in the circular
bench saw position and rotate the saw blade
fully downwards.
Transport
NOTICE!
Risk of product damage!
To transport the saw, always fold in the
supporting legs and secure the saw to prevent
slippage.
Never raise the product by the saw bench.
Always use the frame to lift the product.
– To transport, place the product in the circular
bench saw position and rotate the saw blade
fully downwards.
– Use the original packaging to ship whenever
possible.
