Thank you for purchasing the Talent PS215M4 Portable Powered PA Speaker Package. The PS215M4 provides a big
sound and many features of a full-size PA system in a very lightweight, grab-n-go format. A variety of input options includ-
ing mic, line, MP3 and Bluetooth make the PS215M4 perfect for a wide variety of applications, and the built-in LED light
show adds an exciting splash of color to your performance or presentation.
WARNING: When using electrical products, basic cautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions thoroughly before operating this device.
2. Keep these instructions for future reference.
3. Pay attention to all warnings and follow all instructions as outlined here. Failure to do so can result in injury to yourself or
others, and/or damage to your equipment.
4. Do not use this device near water or in environments with high humidity, or anywhere it can become wet.
5. Do not place drinks or other containers of uids on the device.
6. Clean only with compressed air, and/or a dry cloth.
7. Do not cover any of the ventilation openings or the heatsink.
8. Do not install or use near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other devices (including ampliers)
that produce heat.
9. Do not remove or bypass the grounding-type plug on this device. The plug has two blades and a third grounding plug, pro-
vided for your safety and protection of your equipment. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician
for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked or driven on, from being tripped over, or from being otherwise compromised in any way.
11. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied by the manufacturer, or sold with the device. When a cart is
used, use caution when moving the cart/device combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
12. Position the device with all feet resting rmly on a solid, stable, and level surface.
13. Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all service to qualied service personnel. Service is required when the device has been damaged in any way, e.g., the
power cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the device, the device has been exposed
to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
15. Do not open this device’s case; there are no user serviceable parts inside.
16. Never break off the ground pin. Connect only to a power supply of the type marked on the unit adjacent to the power cord.
17. This device is sold with a standard U.S.-style IEC power cord. For use in other areas a different kind of cord may be required,
and may be purchased locally.
18. The on/off switch in this unit does not break both sides of the primary mains. Hazardous electrical current can be present
inside the chassis, even when the on/off switch is in the off position.

CONTROLS, CONNECTIONS, AND FUNCTIONS
1. LED Display Screen: Shows functions for the
MP3/Bluetooth and FM tuner module.
2. Media Module: Play FM radio stations; insert
your SD card or USB ash drive and use the
provided controls to play, pause, stop, skip, or
shufe your MP3 les; or stream via Bluetooth
from your mobile device.
a) Mode:
USB → SD card → Bluetooth (BT
network name: PS215M4; password 0000 if
prompted) → FM tuner. Press and hold for 3
seconds to turn the MP3 player on/off.
b) Pair/Shufe/Folder: Press and hold in
Bluetooth mode to enter pairing mode.
In MP3 mode, short press for RANDOM
(shufe) → RONE (repeat the currently
playing track) → RALL (repeat all tracks
in order). Press and hold in MP3 mode to
enter folder mode; use skip forward/back
buttons to select folders.
c) Play/Pause/Scan: Press in MP3 mode to
play or pause tracks. Press and hold in FM
mode to auto search stations.
d) Skip Back/Volume Down: Press in MP3
mode to skip back, or to select folder in
folder mode. Press and hold for volume
down in any mode.
e) Skip Forward/Volume Down: Press in MP3
mode to skip forward, or to select folder in
folder mode. Press and hold for volume up
in any mode.
3. MIC LEVEL CONTROL: Level control for the
microphone channel; turn this knob all the way
to the left before connecting anything to the
channel, then gradually turn it to the right to in-
crease the output level of the individual channel
after all connections have been made.
4. MIC INPUT: Unbalanced 1/4" input for high
impedance microphones.
5. LINE OUTPUT: Use these RCA jacks to send
your mix to outboard equipment such as a re-
corder or additional amplier.
6. LINE LEVEL CONTROL: Level control for the
line channel; turn this knob all the way to the
left before connecting anything to the channel,
then gradually turn it to the right to increase the
output level of the individual channel after all
connections have been made.
7. LINE LEVEL INPUT (1): Use this stereo 3.5 mm
jack to connect a line level device such as a cell
phone, tablet, or laptop computer.
8. LINE LEVEL INPUT (2): Use these RCA jacks
to connect a line level device such as a CD
player.

9. MASTER OUTPUT LEVEL: This knob controls the overall level of output. To increase the level, turn the knob to the
right. To decrease the level, turn the knob to the left.
IMPORTANT: Turn this knob all the way to the left before powering up or connecting anything to the speaker. After
all connections are made, turn the speaker on and turn this knob to about one third volume (10 o’ clock position).
Gradually turn it to the right to increase the volume of the overall output only after all channels have been adjusted to
appropriate levels.
10. CLIP INDICATOR: The “CLIP” LED will be lit when the output signal is being overdriven. This should be avoided, as
or individual channel levels so that the CLIP indicator lights up only infrequently, if at all.
11. POWER INDICATOR: The “POWER” LED will be lit when power is engaged and the unit is on.
12. MASTER GRAPHIC EQUALIZER: This 5-band EQ is designed to provide up to 12 dB cut or boost to the frequencies
as indicated below each slider. The master GEQ is used to make minor adjustments which will impact the overall mix
and should be used sparingly.
13. SPEAKER OUTPUT: You may connect one external passive PA speaker to this jack with a standard two-pole twist-
lock (speakON- or HPC-type) connector. Do not use any speaker with an impedance lower than 8 ohms.
14. IEC POWER CABLE RECEPTACLE: Connect the included AC power cable here. Do NOT attempt to defeat the
ground pin. Disconnect the cable when replacing the fuse, just below the cable receptacle.
15. AC MAINS SELECTOR: Use this switch to select the appropriate AC MAINS power for your location; 110VAC @
60Hz, or 220VAC @ 50 Hz.
16. LED LIGHTING SWITCH: Use this switch to turn the built-in LED lighting on or off.
17. POWER SWITCH: This switch is used to turn the unit on or off.
