If you did not request Talius to pre-set the limit settings on your unit prior to shipping, follow the steps below
to set UPPER and LOWER Limits for the rst time. If you requested Talius to pre-set the limits but need to adjust
them, please refer to the instructions on the reverse.

Programming Limit
Settings for the First Time
Somfy® RTS Motors
CHECK THE DIRECTION OF OPERATION
Press and hold the DOWN button on the remote and conrm that the motor
moves in the down direction (the motor will operate in momentary fashion). To
change the direction, press and hold the MY (stop) button until the motor jogs.
Operate motor to your desired Upper Limit position.
SET THE LOWER LIMIT
Press and hold the MY (stop) and DOWN buttons on the remote until the motor
moves in the down direction, then release.
Stop the motor where the Lower Limit should be set. Adjust by pressing the UP or
DOWN buttons on the remote.
SET THE UPPER LIMIT
Press and hold the MY (stop) and UP button on the remote to move the motor to
the desired Upper Limit position, then release.
The motor will stop at the original upper point. Adjust if necessary.
CONFIRM THE LIMIT SETTINGS
Press and hold the MY (stop) button until the motor
jogs to conrm the setting.
SAVE THE LIMIT SETTINGS
Press and hold the PROGRAM button on the back of the remote until the motor
jogs. It will now operate in a maintained fashion.
Double check limits as a precaution.
INITIATE PROGRAMMING MODE
On the remote, press both the UP and DOWN buttons
at the same time until the motor jogs.
Note: After every command the motor will jog to conrm.

Follow the steps below if you need to adjust the factory pre-set upper or lower limit settings. If you did not request
pre-set settings for your unit, please follow the instructions on the reverse to set the limits for the rst time.
During the following steps the motor will operate in a maintained fashion, therefore, you only need to press the
UP or DOWN buttons on the remote momentarily to move the motor, and the MY (Stop) button must be pressed
in order to stop it at its desired limit.
TO ADD A REMOTE/CHANNEL OR SUN AND WIND SENSOR:
First press the programming button on the back of the already programmed
remote until the motor jogs. Then press the programming button on the new
remote or sun/wind sensor that you would like to add, until the motor jogs.
TO RESET THE MOTOR:
You will need to disconnect power (120vac) for 2 seconds, reconnect for 8
seconds, disconnect or another 2 seconds and reconnect. The motor should start
to move and then stop on its own (if this does not happen, continue to perform
the disconnects until it does). Once the motor stops moving on its own, press
and hold the programming button on the back of the remote and count to ten
without letting go until the motor jogs twice.

ADJUST THE UPPER LIMIT
1. Move the motor to its preset UPPER limit
position and let it stop
2. Press the UP and DOWN buttons
simultaneously on the remote
until the motor jogs, then release
3. Adjust to a NEW UPPER limit position
4. Press the MY/STOP
button until the motor
jogs, then release.
5. Check it
ADJUST THE LOWER LIMIT
1. Move the motor to its preset LOWER
limit position and let it stop
2. Press the UP and DOWN buttons
simultaneously on the remote
until the motor jogs, then release
3. Adjust to a new LOWER limit position
4. Press the MY/STOP
button until the motor
jogs, then release.
