wego A hardware and features
Power
Press and hold this button (plus a volume button on some models)
to turn the device on or off.
Note: Press this button one time while the wego A is on to put it into “Sleep” mode.
This feature will conserve battery life when the wego A is not in use.
You can also turn off the wego by going to Settings > General > Shut Down.

Volume
Press the volume toggle up or down to adjust volume levels.

Home
Tap to return to the home screen. If your wego A model does not
have a Home button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

Charging the device
Pull down the tab to reveal the device charging port. Charge device
and speaker at night or when not in use. Please only use a TTMT-
approved charger with your device.

Power
Flip switch into up position to turn on the Bluetooth device and ip
switch down to turn it off.

When this light is on and red, the Bluetooth device is on.

Charging the TTMT Switch Interface
Plug charger into port to charge the switch interface. Please only use
a TTMT-approved charger with your device.

Setup Instructions
Turn on the TTMT Switch Interface, using the on/off switch located on
the side of the interface box. You will see a red power light to indicate the
interface is turned on.
Ensure the Switch Interface is connected to the wego via Bluetooth.
1. Exit the communication software (if you are unable to exit the software,
you may be in Guided Access. See Guided Access, page 5 for
instructions on leaving Guided Access).
2. Open the iOS Settings then select Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth
is toggled On. Under My Devices, you should see TTMT Switch listed
as Connected. If not, tap on “TTMT Switch” to connect. You may see a
pop-up Bluetooth Pairing Request, if so, press Pair.
3. Once the Switch Interface is connected via Bluetooth, you can plug in
your switches and begin setup. Connect your Switch or Switches to
the TTMT Switch Interface
The Switch Interface can be used with one or two switches. For single-
switch scanning, plug your switch to Switch Port 1. For two-step scanning,
plug in both switches, with your “chooser” in Port 1 and your “mover”
switch in Port 2.
Note – once all settings are adjusted, see instructions for resuming Guided Access
(Page 5).

Guided Access
1. Start Guided Access by quickly triple-clicking the home button. Note: if
your wego A model does not have a home button, use the Power button
as shown on page 2. Enter all 1’s when prompted for password. It will
open this screen.
3. Press Resume to continue Guided Access (top right).
4. Press End to stop Guided Access (top left).
5. Lock Menu (restrict use of the menu bar or specic buttons/pages):
Open Guided Access > Use your nger to draw a circle around area/
buttons to restrict.
In addition to being a dedicated communication device, the wego A has
Guided Access, which keeps the user locked into the vocabulary software.
All dedicated devices come with Guided Access enabled, but you may
disable Guided Access after receiving your device. The wego A will remain
dedicated to communication even with Guided Access disabled.

Setup with Proloquo2Go
Single-switch scanning (1 switch, connected to Port 1):
Mode - Automatic Scanning: (default) Highlighted selection advances
through items automatically. When item desired is highlighted, press the
switch.
Mode - Automatic Selecting: Advances automatically through items
when switch is held and selection occurs upon release.
1. Ensure desired Mode is selected. Adjust scan Pattern and Speed as
desired.
2. Under Switch, select External > Enter > Back.
3. When scanning settings are adjusted as preferred, close the Options by
tapping the gear icon. Tap the play button in the top left corner of the
screen to begin scanning. Press your switch to begin.
Two-switch scanning:
Mode - Step Scanning: (two switches required) hit “mover” switch to
move between items. When desired item is selected, hit “chooser” switch.
Mode - Automatic Step Scanning: Uses the screen as a “stepper”
switch and an external switch as the “picker” switch.
1. Under Mode, select Step Scanning. Adjust scan Pattern and Speed as
desired.
2. Under stepper switch, select External > Space > Back.
3. Under picker switch, select External > Enter > Back.
4. When scanning settings are adjusted as preferred, close the Options by
tapping the gear icon. Tap the play button in the top left corner of the
screen to begin scanning. Then, press your switch to begin.
Additional Notes on Scanning with Proloquo2Go:
Advanced setup options are available, for example changing visual cues,
auditory cues, looping settings and more.
Scanning options only apply to the current user and will need to be
adjusted if changing users.
Return to the communication app, Proloquo2Go. Open
Options > Access Method > and toggle on Scanning.
Select Conguration.
Now you can select your Scanning Mode and Pattern.

Setup with TouchChat, Grid, LAMP, Avaz & Speak for Yourself
1. In the iOS Settings, select Accessibility > Switch Control. Do
not toggle on Switch Control until setup is complete.
2. On the screen, select Switches > Add New Switch > External.
3. Activate the switch connected to Port 1.
4. When the keyboard pops up, title the switch (i.e. “Switch #1”).
5. Choose a switch action > Select Item.
6. Skip to Step 11 if you are single-switch scanning.
7. For two-switch scanning, again select Add New Switch > External.
8. Activate the switch connected to Port 2.
9. When the keyboard pops up, title the switch (i.e. “Switch #2”).
10. Choose a switch action > Move To Next Item.
11. Return to the Switch Control menu.
12. Ensure Recipes are labeled “None.” If there are recipes listed, remove
them (to remove a recipe – tap on Recipes > Edit > > Delete >
Back).
13. Under Scanning Style, choose Auto Scanning for single-switch
scanning or Manual Scanning for two-switch scanning.
14. Adjust Timing, Audio, visual and other settings as preferred.
15. Ensure that Tap Behavior is listed as “Always Tap.”
16. Once settings are set as preferred, toggle Switch Control On (Green),
and open your communication app (TouchChat, Grid, LAMP, Avaz,
Speak For Yourself).

Setup with GoTalk Now
1. Return to the communication app, GoTalk Now.
Open Settings and Scroll to Scanning.
2. Select Scanning Device Type > Space and Enter Switch.
3. Determine Scanning Mode.
a. For single-switch scanning, toggle on Auto Scan.
b. For two-switch scanning, toggle off Auto Scan.
4. Select Grouping Style (row, column, etc), Speed, Repeat, etc. as
preferred.
5. Press Done to close Settings and return to Player Mode.
