Hardware and features
wego 7A, 10A & 13A
If your wego A model does not have a Home button,
swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

Power
Press and hold this button (plus a volume button on some models) to
turn the device on or off.
Note: Press this button one time while the wego A is on to put it into “Sleep” mode.
This feature will conserve battery life when the wego A is not in use.

Volume
Press the volume toggle up or down to adjust volume levels.

Home
Tap to return to the home screen. If your wego A model does not have
a Home button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

Charging the device
Pull down the tab to reveal the device charging port. Charge device
and TTMT Speaker (SPKR) at night or when not in use. Please only
use a TTMT-approved charger with your device.

User settings
Within your wego A, there are several settings that are worth noting.
Access to some of these features may be integrated into your particular
vocabulary set.
• Volume
• Date/Time Display
• Mute/Unmute
• Touch Sensitivity
• Battery Indicator
Word Finder
As you are learning where vocabulary is, it may be helpful to access word
nder. Tap Menu > Word Finder >, type the word you want to search for >
Find.
Edit Mode
In order to customize or modify pages and vocabulary buttons, you must
be in Edit Mode. On the green menu bar (top of the screen), tap Menu >
Edit Page. The menu bar will change to burgundy indicating you are in
Edit Mode. To exit, tap Done.

Create a vocabulary button
Edit button window
Buttons can contain a variety of Button Actions (speaking, navigating,
etc.) that activate when the button is pressed. For a button to speak a
message when it is pressed, it must contain the Speech Message Button
Action.
In Edit Mode, tap the button you
wish to edit > Edit This Button.
Button Label
Type the label that will be visible on
the button.
Button Message
Type the message to be spoken
aloud when the button is pressed.
Note: A button must contain the “Speech
Message” Button Action (at the bottom of
the Edit Button window) in order for it to
speak the specied message.
Button Photo
To choose an image, tap Select
Image.
Alternately, to take a photo with the
Camera, or access the photos you
have taken in the Image Library,
tap Import Image.

Hide and show options
Hide a Page of Buttons
In order to allow you to focus on core words and minimize distractions
during therapy sessions, Vocabulary Builder allows you to hide all of
the words except the few you are wanting to teach (continue to the next
section for more information on Vocabulary Builder).
Hide Speech Display Bar
Tap Menu > Settings > scroll
to Speech Display Bar > Hide
Speech Display > slide ON/OFF.
Hide a single button
Begin in Edit Page, tap Button >
Edit this Button > scroll to Visible
> slide ON/OFF.

Vocabulary builder window
If Add Word is not an option, the word is not stored in the words list.
Please see “Create a vocabulary button.”
Tip: You can create a list of themed core words by using the Save List feature. Tap Save List
> give your word list a name > Save. Then, to load your list, tap Load List.
Tap Menu > Vocabulary Builder
To hide all of the vocabulary buttons on the main vocabulary board (so that
only the buttons you create in your new list will be shown), slide ON/OFF
and tap Disable All.
There are two different ways to
create a list of words to teach.
Option 1
Type a word in the search eld.
When it appears in the list below,
place a check in the box next to
the word you want to show.
Tap Save List > Done > slide ON/
OFF > Disable All.
Option 2
Type a list of words.
Tap Quick Edit (ensure Enable
These Words is checked) > type
the word you would like to add >
Add Word.
When your list is complete, tap
Save > Done.

Create a new page and link it
Copy and paste button
Begin in Edit Mode > tap the
button you would like to copy >
Copy Button and Style > tap the
button you would like to copy your
button to > Paste Button and
Style.
If you want to copy this button to
a different page, you will need to
either exit Edit Mode and navigate
to the location where you’d like to
paste the button OR tap Menu >
Load Another Page.
Note: Use Paste Style Only to paste
background color, font, font size and label
positioning from one button to another.
Begin from the page where you’d
like to make your navigation
button. Tap Menu > Edit Page >
select the button that will be the
linking cell > Edit This Button.
Scroll to bottom of menu. In the
“Button Actions” section, select
Add. A “Select Actions” menu will
appear. Scroll down and select
Navigate.
Now select the page you wish to
navigate-link your button to, then
select Save.
If you want to create a new page,
tap the +icon.

Locking out access to editing will safeguard against deleting a vocabulary
set. Should you choose to lock the menu, tap Menu > Settings > scroll to
Editing > Menu Passcode to turn off the feature.
Pronunciation
Menu lock
Sometimes a word is not correctly
pronounced. This is easy to x.
Tap Menu (at top right of the green
menu bar) > Edit Pronunciations.
Scroll to and tap the word in the list to
open the Pronounce window. In the
Pronounce As eld, type the word as
you would like to hear it pronounced.
Example:
Pronounce “JoAnn” as “Joe Ann”.
Tap Pronounce to test your
pronunciation > Save.
Tip: Some words will require a bit of creativity
to get a correct pronunciation (such as phone
numbers or names). If this occurs, try using
space between numbers; commas, hyphens
or apostrophes with letters.

Pair the TTMT Speaker (SPKR)
Your wego A’s TTMT Speaker (SPKR) is already paired, but on occasion
you may need to re-pair it.
1. Turn off Guided Access: quickly triple-click Home button to open
Guided Access.
Note: if your wego A model does not have a home button, use the Power button as
shown on page 2. Enter pass code (default pass code is all 1s) > press End (top left).
2. Press Home button to view device home screen.
Note: if your wego A model does not have a home button, use the Power button as
shown on page 2.
3. Settings > Bluetooth > If off, tap the Bluetooth button to turn on.
5. Press Home button to return to device home screen.
Note: if your wego A model does not have a home button, use the Power button as
shown on page 2.
6. Open vocabulary set.
7. Quickly triple-click the Home button to resume Guided Access.
4. Under My Devices, tap TTMT SPKR to pair.
