Teile repariert oder ausgetauscht.
WARRANTIES
All TAMI products come with a producer’s warranty that is
valid for two years from the purchase date. The warranty is
not valid in case of improper use, failure to follow instructions
for use, or intentional damage. This warranty does not cover
damage to property or injury to persons. To make a claim un-
der this warranty please contact directly the local distributor
in your country from whom you purchased your TAMI Dogbox.
TAMI Dogboxes normally comprise the dogbox and a pump,
as well as various accessories and small parts. Only actually
defective parts will be replaced. It would be very unusual for
multiple parts to be defective simultaneously.

• Öffnen Sie die Haken, falten Sie die Box auseinander und holen Sie die
Fußpumpe heraus.
•Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Ventils. Drücken und drehen Sie den gelben
Knopf, so dass der innenliegende Zapfen des Ventils oben ist (siehe Bild 4).
•Die Pumpe wird nun auf das Ventil gesteckt und im Uhrzeigersinn festge-
schraubt. Anschließend können Sie die Box aufpumpen (ca. 3 PSI). Die Box
ist voll aufgepumpt, wenn sich die Fußpumpe nicht mehr betätigen lässt.
•Öffnen Sie die rote Verschlusslasche rechts oben und schieben die Ver-
steifungslatte ein, schließen Sie die rote Lasche wieder.
•
Den Deckel des Ventils so verschließen, dass keine Verletzungsgefahr be-
steht (siehe Bild 7).
• Öffnen Sie das Ventil, indem Sie den Zapfen nach
innen drücken und drehen. Somit kann die Luft aus
der Box entweichen.
•Falten Sie beide Seitenwände der Box nach innen,
anschließend klappen Sie die Rückwand der Box nach
unten, so dass die Luft entweichen kann.
•Wenn gewünscht, können Sie die Box einmal der
Länge nach falten und die zwei kurzen Gurte jeweils
in die D-Ringe auf der Vorder- und Rückseite einhän-
gen. So ist die Box platzsparend zu verstauen und
praktisch zu tragen.
• Open the hooks, unfold the box, and take out the footpump.
• Open the cover of the valve. Push and turn the yellow
button so that the interior valve plug is open (see illu. 4).
• Stick the pump into the valve and screw in by turning
clockwise. Now you can pump up the dogbox. Keep
pumping until you can no longer press your foot down.
• Open the red closure flap on the top right and push the
reinforcing batan in, close the red flap again.
• Close the cover of the valve so that there is no danger of
injury (see illustration 7).
•Open the valve by pushing the plug inward and tur-
ning it. The air can now escape from the dogbox.
•Fold the two side walls inward. Then fold the back
wall down, so that the air can escape.
•You can also fold the box once lengthwise and attach
the two short straps to the D-rings on the front and
back. This is a practical way to carry the box and
store it in a small space.

box, wenn das Tier an die Box gewöhnt ist.
4. Wegen Strangulierungsgefahr legen Sie Ihrem Hund
beim Transport in der Box keine Leine an.
5. Haustiere länger allein zu lassen, kann dazu führen,
dass sie sich ängstigen und versuchen, gewaltsam aus
der Box zu entkommen. Dies kann zu Verletzungen
führen.
6.
Lassen Sie Ihren Hund niemals bei hohen Temperaturen
allein im Auto.
7. Lagern Sie die TAMI Dogbox geschützt.
8. Verwenden Sie zum Aufpumpen der TAMI Dogbox aus-
schließlich eine Pumpe. Ein Autokompressor ist zum
Aufpumpen nicht geeignet.
9. Das TAMI Team haftet nicht für die Schäden an der TAMI
Dogbox, die das Tier z.B. auf Grund von aggressivem
oder unerzogenem Verhalten verursacht. Sie selbst
kennen Ihren Hund am besten. Lassen Sie Ihren Hund
niemals unbeaufsichtigt mit einer offenen TAMI Dogbox
alleine.
WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
IMPORTANT SAFETY TIPS
1. After unpacking, you should airing the inflated box
for at least 24 hours.
2. When you purchase your dogbox, be sure to get the
right size for your dog. The dog should be able to
stand, comfortably turn around, and lie down.
3. Transport your dog in the TAMI Dogbox only after
your dog has become accustomed to the box.
4. Do not put a leash on your dog when it is in the box:
this is a strangulation danger.
5. Do not leave your dog alone in the box for a long
time. Doing so may lead to the dog‘s panicking and
forcefully trying to get out. This could lead to injury.
6. Never leave your dog alone in the car in hot weather.
7. Protect your TAMI Dogbox when it is stored.
8. To inflate the TAMI Dogbox use only a pump. Do not
use an auto compressor for inflating the dogbox.
9. Tami Team assumes no liability for damage to the
dogbox caused by a dog that is aggressive (bite- and
scratch-damages) or has not been properly trained
to use the box. You know your dog best. Never leave
your dog unattended with an open TAMI dog box.

REPARATURSET / REPAIR KIT
Wenn Sie eine schadhafte Stelle in
Ihrer TAMI Dogbox entdecken, aus
der Luft entweicht, so können Sie das
sehr einfach reparieren. Nehmen Sie
eines der Patches, die Sie im Repa-
raturset vorfinden, und schneiden
Sie es gegebenenfalls für die Größe
der schadhaften Stelle zu. Legen Sie
das ausgeschnittene Patch auf die
schadhafte Stelle und umfahren Sie
es mit einem Bleistift. Kleben Sie
mit einem Abdeckband den Bereich
außerhalb der Bleistiftlinie ab. Mit
einem kleinen Pinsel tragen Sie den
Klebstoff sowohl auf den Schadstel-
lenbereich als auch auf das Patch auf
und ziehen dann die Abdeckbänder
ab. Für eine gute Verklebung pressen
Sie das Patch auf den Untergrund.
Benutzen Sie dazu eine Rolle oder
Ähnliches.
In case a spot on your TAMI Dogbox
is damaged and leaking air, you
can fix it very easily. Take one of the
patches supplied in the Repair Kit
and cut it to a size that covers the
damaged spot. Lay it on the dama-
ged spot and trace around it with
a pencil. Now mask off around the
traced area with masking tape. With
a small brush apply a layer of glue
to both the masked area on the box
and the patch. Remove the masking
tape. For optimal adhesion use a
roller to press the patch onto the box.

inside and outside and can be com-
pressed a few inches. If the box sticks out
a bit from the car, it “gives” when the
trunk or door is closed.

Die exklusive kleine Tragebox bietet natürlich auch alle Sicherheitselemente,
die die großen TAMI Dogboxen auszeichnen. Die Formgebung ist speziell für
den Winkel zwischen Lehne und Sitz der gängigen Autositze gewählt. Da-
durch schmiegt sich die Box an den Sitz an und wird mit dem Anschnallgurt
gesichert. Die TAMI SEATBOX wiegt nur 3,2 kg und ist deshalb sehr leicht zu
tragen. Vier Halteringe am Boden dienen der sicheren Befestigung auf allen
möglichen Fahrzeugtypen. Sollte Ihr Anschnallgurt zu kurz sein, so finden Sie

The exclusive little carrier has all of the security features of the larger TAMI
Dogboxes. It is designed especially to fit into the angle of the seat and the
seatback in most modern vehicles. The carrier fits snugly and is secured
with the seatbelt. The TAMI SEATBOX weighs just 7 lbs and so is very easy to
carry. Four rings on the carrier’s floor mean that the SEATBOX can be safely
secured to all types of vehicles. If your seatbelt is not long enough, you can
buy a special seatbelt extender at our website.

Simultaneously, the air pressure

against the flexible wall, the in-
ner wall yields and the fibers lose

Die Sicherheit wird bei dem TAMI Dogbox Sytem
groß geschrieben. Die Airbag Funktion der Boxwän-
de in Verbindung mit der Deformation der Box beim
Aufprall des Hundekörpers ist dann gegeben, wenn
die Box im Auto sachgemäß befestigt ist. Dazu ist
die TAMI Dogbox zusätzlich oben mit Stahlringen
ausgestattet. Diese Stahlringe dienen als Gurtfüh-
rung - nicht als direkte Befestigungspunkte. Führen
Sie zusätzliche lange Gurtbänder (separat erhältich)
einmal komplett über die TAMI Dogbox und span-
nen Sie diese sicher in ihrem Fahrzeug fest.
Security is a top priority with the TAMI Dogbox
system. The airbag function of the box walls in
connection with the deformation of the box during
the impact of the dog‘s body is given when the box
is properly fastened in the car. The TAMI Dogbox is
additionally equipped with steel rings at the top.
These steel rings serve as belt guides - not as direct
fastening points. Guide additional long straps (sold
separately) once completely over the TAMI Dogbox
and tighten them securely in your car.

Das Hauptargument für die TAMI Backseat Box
ist, dass sie praktisch in jedes viertürige Auto
passt. Die TAMI Backseat Box wird erst im Auto
aufgeblasen und formt sich somit direkt an die
Rücksitzbank an. Wählen Sie anhand der Größe
Ihres Hundes, zwischen der TAMI Backseat
Box M oder L. Die TAMI Backseat Box kann bei
entsprechender Kofferraumgröße natürlich
auch als Kofferraum Box genutzt werden.

Sie sollten Ihrem Hund genügend Zeit geben, damit er sich mit
seiner neuen Hundebox vertraut machen kann. Ideal ist es, wenn
sich der Hund erst einmal in der Wohnung an die Box gewöhnt
und diese etwas später im Auto zum Einsatz kommt.
Alle TAMI Dogboxen eignen sich natürlich auch hervorragend als
Schlafplatz für zuhause. Legen Sie die Lieblingsdecke Ihres Hun-
des in die Box, vertraute Gerüche geben dem Hund auch später
bei der Fahrt mehr Sicherheit.
Auch mit dem Lieblingsleckerli oder Lieblingsspielzeug können Sie
Ihren Vierbeiner mit der Box vertraut machen. Platzieren Sie z.B.
das Leckerli erst einmal in der Nähe der TAMI Dogbox, so trauen
sich auch etwas ängstlichere Hunde nach und nach näher an die
Box heran. Klappt die Anfangsphase gut, probieren Sie ein Leckerli
in die Box zu geben. Loben Sie Ihren Hund immer wieder. Wenn
das Tier soweit mit der Box vertraut ist und länger in der Box bleibt,
können Sie sich ein Kommando überlegen, bei dem der Hund in
die Box gehen soll.
Üben Sie mit Ihrem Hund, indem Sie das Kommando sagen und
in die Box zeigen, sobald der Hund hineingeht. Loben und beloh-
nen Sie Ihren Hund, wenn er sich in der Box befindet.
Schließen Sie die Box am Anfang immer nur für ein paar Minuten.
Damit der Hund diese Zeit mit etwas Positivem verbindet, können Sie
Ihrem Hund ein Lieblingsspielzeug oder ein Kausnack mit in die Box
geben. Jeder Hund benötigt individuell Zeit sich an seine Box zu
gewöhnen. Sobald sich Ihr Hund in der Box wohl fühlt und keine
Stressreaktionen zeigt, können Sie den Zeitraum, in dem die TAMI
Dogbox verschlossen ist, verlängern.
Wichtig ist, dass diese Übungseinheiten nicht zu lange dauern und Ihr
Vierbeiner immer wieder aus der Box kommen darf. Wenn Ihr Hund
die Box auch als Schlaf- und Ausruhplatz in der Wohnung nutzen
kann, wird er die Box als sicheren Ort empfinden.
Der letzte Schritt ist nun die erste Autofahrt mit der TAMI Dogbox.
Stellen Sie die TAMI Dogbox in Ihr Auto und lassen Sie Ihren Hund
mit dem Kommando in die Box springen oder heben Sie ihn hinein.
In der Box könnte ein Leckerli für den Hund bereit liegen. Wiederho-
len Sie diesen Vorgang zur positiven Verstärkung für den Hund. Blei-
ben Sie ein paar Minuten neben der offenen Box stehen und loben
Sie Ihren Hund, wenn er liegen oder sitzen bleibt. Verschließen Sie
nun für ein paar Minuten den Reißverschluss und beobachten Sie,
ob sich Ihr Hund ruhig verhält und sich wohl fühlt. Gerade die ersten
Autofahrten können für den Hund noch ungewohnt sein, planen Sie
daher erst einmal kurze Strecken ein.
Nach und nach steigern Sie die Zeitspanne, in der Ihr Hund wäh-
rend der Fahrt in der TAMI Dogbox ist. Haben Sie Geduld mit Ih-
rem Hund, wenn es anfangs noch nicht so gut klappt. Auch wenn
der Hund sich an die Box gewöhnt hat, können neue Geräusche,
vorbeiziehende Landschaften, Kurven oder Bremsen für den Hund
noch überfordernd sein. Mit etwas Vorbereitung und Zeit wird
sich Ihr Hund ganz sicher an das Autofahren in der TAMI Dogbox
gewöhnen.
WIE GEWÖHNE ICH MEINEN HUND AN DIE BOX?

You should give your dog enough time to get used to the box. The
ideal situation for the dog to get used to the box is in your house.
(When the dog has become comfortable with the box in the
house, you can use the same training procedure to get the dog
used to being in the box in the car.)
All TAMI boxes are fine for your dog to use for sleeping and resting
at home. Lay your dog‘s favorite pad in the box. Familiar smells
will give your dog a sense of greater security and familiarity when
you travel.
Y ou can use your dog‘s favorite treat or toy to help the dog feel
comfortable in the box. First, put the treat near the TAMI Dogbox
– so that a somewhat nervous dog feels more and more confident
to get closer to the box. If the first tries are sucessful, put the treat
in the box.
Continue to praise your dog for coming closer to the box. Once
the dog is comfortable staying in the box, think of a command

Practice with your dog. Use the command and point in the box
as soon as the dog enters the box. Praise and reward your dog
whenever it is in the box.
At first, close the box with the dog in it for a short time – just a few
minutes. Make sure the dog perceives this as a positive thing by
placing a favorite treat or toy in the box beside it.
Each dog is different when it comes to the time and techniques
needed to get used to the box. As soon as your dog feels
comfortable in the box and shows no signs of stress, you can
lengthen the time that the dog stays in the closed box.
It‘s important that these training sessions don‘t last too long and
your four-legged friend can keep exiting the box. When your dog
can use the dogbox to sleep and rest in your home, he‘ll perceive
the box as a safe spot.
The last step is the first car trip with the TAMI Dogbox. Place the
dogbox in your car and give the command for your dog to jump
into the box, or lift it into the box. Have a dog treat ready in the
box. Repeat this a few times to reinforce the dog‘s good behavior.
Stand for a few minutes next to the open box and praise the dog
if it remains sitting or lying down. Close the box with the zipper
and observe whether your dog remains calm and feels OK. The
first car trips in the box may be a new experience for the dog,
so plan to take a few short rides until the dog accepts the new
experience and remains calm.
Little by little increase the length of the trips in which the dog is in
the TAMI Dogbox. Be patient with your dog if things are bumpy at
first. Even after your dog is used to traveling in the dogbox, new
sounds, passing landscapes, curves, or braking can overtax your dog.
With the right preparation and time, your dog will certainly
become accustomed to car travel in the TAMI Dogbox.
