1. ASSEMBLY (Plan 1)
- The mechanical installation of the IR32 printer is very easy due to its small
dimensions.
- It can be built in and also can be attached directly to the panel, for this purpose it
has on the back side two moorings for the self-tapping screw, they are located in
the connector cover, which allow several installation possibilities.
- IMPORTANT:
- You must take into account that to attach it to the frontal dashboard of the
vehicle there is no especial base required; the IR32 printer’s design allows its
assembly by fixing the connectors cover directly to the dashboard, through
screws from the interior’s part of the cover. After connecting the cable you can
fit the printer in the connectors cover and you can proceed to sealing.
- In case of using a base or framing square, be sure is rigid enough so it does not
vibrate. (or with the minimum vibration) it can cause errors in the contacts.
2. ELECTRIC INSTALLATION (Plan 2)
- To get to the connectors just remove the CONNECTORS COVER (removing
previously the screw at the front part).
- You can see a detail of the electronic installation of the printer in plan 2.
RECOMENDATIONS TO THE INSTALLATION OF A PRINTER IN THE CAR:
- Unplug the positive clamp of the battery until the whole electronic installation is
done.
- Any handling must be done by unplugging it from the power supply.
- Use the cables provided only by INTERFACOM OR any authorized dealer.
- If the cables pierce any sheet they must go through a rubber wall bushing.
- Make sure the cables of the spark plugs are made of graphite to avoid possible
interferences that can affect the device.
- In case the vehicle carries a radio station, try to separate the installation of the
radio station and the one from the printer as much as possible.
- Check always the board ground of the antenna as well as its connectors.
- If possible do not hold the printer to the same base as the antenna or the radio
station.

3. SEALING
- The sealing of the IR32 printer is done at the front part, blocking the access to
the screw that closes the box and the installation.
4. MAINTENANCE (Plans 4, 5)
- To open the two casings of the device, you must follow the steps shown in plan
4.
- To change the paper roll of the printer, you must follow the steps shown in plan
5.
