Charging the Battery
Before using the e-Doctor for the first time please fully charge
the battery. The e-Doctor uses a standard micro-B USB data cable,
the same type as used in many smart phones, for charging and to
connect to a computer. As charging is facilitated via USB a dedicated
charger is not included with the e-Doctor purchase.
The e-Doctor comes with a high-performance Lithium
Ion battery rated at 4600mAh which can last for 12 hours
worth of continuous use and for 6 months while on
standby.
When the battery is low, the device will sound an alarm
and display a warning on the screen.
Should the battery drain completely, the device will not
power on immediately even while plugged in to charge.
Allow the battery to charge for a short time before
attempting to turn it on again.
Should the e-Doctor not be used for more than 6 months,
please fully charge the battery before attempting to use
in order to prevent over discharging the battery. This will
ensure the service life is not significantly diminished as a
result of prolonged inactivity.
Charging via power adapter
A. Connect one end of USB cable to the power adapter and the

9
other end to the USB port on the e-Doctor.
B. Plug the USB power adapter into a standard power outlet.

e-Doctor and expose the user to serious harm.
The touch screen may not work if the charging voltage is
unstable. If this happens, remove the charger
immediately.
The e-Doctor can be used while it is being charged; this
may significantly increase the charge time though.
The e-Doctor will heat up when charging, this is normal
