To begin setup, dock your iPhone/iPod Touch to the CRX300iP.
A dialogue box will appear, notifying thatthe TEAC iDock application is
absent. Followthe on-screeninstructions toinstall the application.
Onceinstalled,you canstart usingtheCRX300iP.
NOTE:Please ensure you are connected to the WIFI system when downloading
the application and receiving weather updates.

Setting the Alarm manually
1.Initiate theTEAC iDockApp inthe iPhone/iPodTouch.
2.Using theTEAC iDockApp, selectAlarm Settingsto makechanges tothe alarm1 andalarm 2time settings.
3.The TEACiDock Appallows youto selecta personalizedalarm tune/songfrom theiPhone/iPod Touchplaylist.
Ifno tune/songis selectedin thealarm settings,the Appwill randomlyselect asong fromthe playlistavailable.
4.Once set,dock theiPhone intothe unitwith theApp on.
5.Alarm settingson theiPhone/iTouch isautomatically transferredand synchronizedinto theunit.
WARNING: Alarm settings on the iPhone/iTouchTEAC iDock App will overwrite both alarm settings previously set on the clock radio
unit when the iPhone/iPodTouch is docked.
1.Press andHold ALARM,Alarm 1"hour" settingwill startflashing.
2.Press SET +/- to adjustand "hour"
alarmsettings.
3.Press ENTER toconfirm the"hour" setting,"minute" settingswill startto flash.
4.
Press SET +/- toadjust theminute settings,then, ENTER to setthe minutesettings. Thewake-to source
"BUZ/IP/FM" willstart toflash.
5.
Adjust the personalsource ofalarm tunes fromthe selections available(Buzzer/iPod/FM). The selections
canbe madeby pressingSet +/-. PressENTER to confirmsetting.
6.
WhenAlarm 1is set,pressALARM againto setAlarm 2.Orpress ALARMtwice toentertheAlarm 2settings.

Using the Audio-in jack
Youcan playany portable MP3player orportable audio devicethrough theCRX300ip via theAUDIO INjack.
1. Connect theAUDIO-IN jackfromthe backpanelof theunit totheoutput fromyourdevice.
2. Press INPUT toselect "AUX"mode.Display willshow"AUX".
3.Play themusicfrom theexternal audio device.
4. Adjust thevolume bypressingthe VOLUME+/- buttons.
Using the Sleep mode
1. When the iPhone/iPod Touch is docked into the unit with the TEAC iDock App activated, the weather information
would appear in the lower Display.
2. Press DISPLAY/MEMORY to view the preset Date, Alarm 1, Alarm 2 respectively. Press again to revert back to
the weather display.
3. When the App is not in use, the preset DATE will appear in the lower display by default. Press DISPLAY/MEMORY
to view Alarm 1, amd Alarm 2 respectively. Press again to revert back to the DATE display.
Note:
1. Ensure that the alarm indicator is on and is in the right mode when setting the alarm. If not, the alarm may not sound.
2. When the iPhone/iTouch is docked with the App activated, the Alarm Settings in the App will be synchronized to the unit and overwrite the
settings in the unit.
3. When the unit is on, the default wake-to source is set to BUZZER. Other wake-to sources will be activated in standby mode. When the iDock
App is activated and the unit is on standby mode, the App's designated song will play as the alarm wake-to source.
Tuning by App
1. Dockthe iPhone/iPodTouch intothe dock,and launchthe TEACiDock Appon youriPhone/iPod Touch.
2.Choose theFM tickerin theApp, andan FMinput willappear onthe unitdisplay.
3. PressAUTO to scan theFM stationsautomatically, autoscanned stationswill bestored asa presetstation.
20stations canbe stored.
4. Or,alternatively, turnon theStation Scrollto selectyour desiredstation manually.Press SAVE tostore theFM
stationin yourdesired memorylocation.
5. Presspreset stationsby M1-M20 toselect arelevant station.
Tips: Other than auto scanning in App, you may also fine tune the FM steps manually through the unit or App. Both the unit and App display
will show the tuning status at the same time.
The SleepMode functionpermits theuser toset aselected timefor theunit toshut off.This settingwould gradually
lowerthe volumewhile theradio oriPhone/iPod Touchis inplay.
1. Pressand holdSLEEPto setthesleep timer.PressSET+/- to adjustthesleep time.PressENTER toconfirmthe setting
2.When Sleeptimeis set,"ZZZ" appears inthe display.
3. PressSLEEP toviewthe presetsleep timeinthe lowerdisplay.
4. Tostop listeningatany time,press thePOWERto turnunitoff.
Setting the clock and date manually
1. Whenalarm ison,press SNOOZE/DIMMERtoturn thealarmoff. Thealarmwill resoundin10 minutes.
2.When alarmison, pressSTANDBY/ALARMRESET to resetthe alarm forthe nextday.
3.Press ALARM toturn on/offthealarm setting.Alarmicon shouldindicateif thealarmis onalertmode orstandbymode.
1. Before docking the iPhone/iPod, please choose the correct dock insert to match. Wrong dock inserts would
affect playback and charging.
2. PUSH OPEN the docking tray and pull it all the way out, dock the iPhone/iPod into the unit with the correct insert.
3. When theiPhone/iPod isdocked, theiPhone/iPod inputsource willbe setas prioritysource. TheiPhone/iPod icon
appears inthe display.
4. If iPhone/iPod is in standby mode, press POWER to turn on the iPhone/iPod
5. Choose the songs from the iPhone/iPod to play; or press PLAY/PAUSE to play the music.
6. Adjust the volume by pressing VOLUME +/- on top of the unit.
7. Press >> or << in the front panel to skip tracks.

5.Current time,date andweather aresynchronizedand displayedinto theunit automatically.
Tips: Goto thesetting pagein theApp toselect 12/24 hourmode, andturn on/offof thetime flash colon.
Manual Tuning
1.Press INPUTtoselect theFMinput mode,"FM" appearsonthe unitdisplay.
2.Pressand holdSET +/- to scanthe availableFMstations.
3.Once stationisselected, pressandhold DISPLAY/MEMORY untilP01appears inthedisplay.
4.Press SET+/- againto selectthepreset number,then pressDISPLAY/MEMORYto store.
5.To listentothe pre-savedradio stations, pressPRESET toselecta presetstation.
Note: To increase the sensitivity of the reception and to reduce static, fully extend the FM wire.
Note: The FM frequency display is raised or lowered by a step of 0.1MHz. For example, frequency between 88.00 to 88.05MHz will be
displayed as "88.0MHz".
Note: When the iPhone/iTouch is docked with the TEAC iDock App activated, the preset FM station in the App will NOT override the preset
stations in the unit.
1. Press12/24hr atthe rearof theunit tochoose 12/24hr setting.
2. When12 hrsetting ischosen, AM/PM appearsin thedisplay alongwith thetime.
3.Press TIME , the"hour" startsto flashin thedisplay.
4.Press SET +/ - toadjust the"hour".
5.Press ENTER toconfirm the"hour" setting,afterwhich, the"minute" settingstarts toflash.
6.Press SET +/- repeatedly,then pressENTER to makechanges tothe minutesettings.
7.Press andhold TIME,the"yyyy" startsto flashin thedisplay. PressSET+/- to setthe yearand ENTER toexit.
8.Set the"mm", "dd"like Step7to setthe monthand dayrespectively. PressENTER to exit.
Note: When iPhone is docked with App activated, the time and date settings in App will override the original settings in the unit.
Using the DIMMER
During normal operation, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER to control the brightness of the LCD display.

Check all cables to ensure they are connected correctly
Check if the batteries are fully charged and are in place correctly
Check if the iPhone / iPod touch is inserted correctly; undock the player, check fo any obstruction
on the connectors and dock again.
Ifafault occurs, pleasecheckthe points listedbelow:
Never open the digital unit casing under any circumstances, otherwise the warranty will be void.
The product should not be placed where it is exposed to rain, excessive moisture or grease.
Do not bend the power cord excessively or place heavy objects on it.
Do not use a damaged power cord or power outlet.
Do not place the unit near any naked flames such as a candle, or any heated source such as
a fire place or heater.
Dispose off batteries used for the unit in the proper manner.
Do not expose the unit to excessive heat, such as sunshine and fire.
Disposal of Old Electrical & Electronic Equipment (Applicable in the European Union and other European
countries with separate collection systems)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are
entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail
to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Warranty T erms & C onditions
1. TEAC warrants that this product is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal domestic use with
reasonable care and skill. Maintenance and cleaning (i.e. laser head) is not covered by this warranty. The TEAC
warranty only applies to TEAC prod ucts purchased, us ed and serviced in A ustralia.
2. The benefits to the consumer given by this Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer
under a law in relation to goods or servic es to which the warranty relates, being the Aus tralian Consumer Law.
3. Refund or replacement via your retailer is available for a period of 14 days after purchase for goods that have been
inspected and determined to have a major failure. Refund and exchange is not applicable for change of mind.
4. Subject to the terms herein, this warranty effectively covers the equipment as specified in the Warranty Periods
Table below from the d ate of purchase.

This s ervice will only be provided as part of this warrant y if all the following conditions are met;

a) The product is indicated in the Warrant y Period Table.
b) The product is within the warranty period.
c) The product is located within the normal service area of t he local TEAC Auth orised Service Centre.
If TEAC determines that the product is not repairable on site, TEAC can complete the repair by taking the product to
a TEAC Aut horised Service Centre.
Where In-Home service/Pick up* is not available, the purchas er is required to send the product to the nearest TEAC
Authorised Service Centre for repair. In this event, proof of purchase is required to support a warranty claim. After
the repair, the product will be available for collection by or return to the purchaser at a fee upon request. TEAC in-
home servic e can be made available at a fee upon request.

6. A 12-month replacement warranty is applicable to allAccessories such asRemote, Power Adaptors and Cables.
7. TEAC will ensure to th e best of its abilities that all requir ed parts are mad e available for any required servic e/repair.
8. TEAC Australia Pty Ltd and its Authorised Service Centres will use their best endeavours to complete product
repairs within a reasonable period based on available resources and workload during the time when service is
requested and performed.
9. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the product. In the case of a replacement, the product may be replaced,
with a refurbished unit of the same type or, if one is unavailable, a similar refurbished model with equal or better
features & sp ecifications.
10. Please be advised that if the product presented for repair is capable of retaining user-generated data, the data may
be lost during servicing. Customers are strongly encouraged to back up all important information/data before
sending th e product in for ser vice/repair.
11. Service will be provided only during normal business hours and under safety conditions and circumstances. TEAC
and its authorised service agents can refuse any repair if safety, in relation to OH&S, becomes a conc ern to its staff
or authoris ed service agents’ personnel.
12. The warranty is void and warranty claims may be refus ed, subject to the Australian Consum er Law, if:
a) The product was not transp orted, installed, operated or maintained according to manufacturer instruction, or
b) The product was abused, damaged, tampered, altered or repaired by any unauthorised persons, or
c) Product failure is due to accidents during use, installation or transit, power surges, use of defective or
incompatible external devic es, exposure to abnormal conditions such as excessive temperatures or humidity, or
entry of li quids, objects or cr eatures into the pr oduct.
13. No one is authorised to assume any liability on behalf of TEAC or impose any obligation on it, in connection with the
sale of any equipment other than as stated in this warranty and outlined above.
14. TEAC reserves the right to inspect and verify whether the product is exhibiting a major failure as claimed by
customers/retailers.
