Vor dem Gebrauch
Das Gerät funktioniert auf 1 Lithiumbatterie (3V, Typ CR2032, mitgeliefert). Entfernen Sie den
Deckel des Batteriefachs an der Hinterseite der Waage. Setzen Sie die Batterie richtig ein,
Pluspol nach außen gerichtet, und schließen Sie das Fach.
Jetzt können Sie die Waage benutzen.
Gewichtseinheit
Sie können das metrische Maßsystem (Gramm/Kilogramm) oder das englische Maßsystem
(Pfund/ nze) benutzen. Wählen Sie das Maßsystem, indem Sie den kleinen Druckknopf an der
Hinterseite des Gerätes betätigen, wenn das Gerät in angeschaltetem Zustand ist. Die
vorgegebene Messeinheit ist "Gramm". Falls Sie den Knopf betätigen, wird die Messeinheit
"Pfund" aktiviert. Die Messeinheit " nze" wird aktiviert, falls Sie den Knopf nochmals betätigen.
Dann wird Messeinheit "Kilogramm" aktiviert, falls Sie den Druckknopf nochmals betätigen.



GE RAUCH
Stellen Sie die Waage auf eine ebene, stabile Fläche wie z.B. einen Tisch.
Normales Wiegen
1) Drücken Sie leicht mit Ihrem Finger auf die Taste “ON/OFF”. Die Waage schaltet an
und “HELO” erscheint einige Sekunden im Display und dann erscheint “0” g, “0.000”
lb, “0.00” oz oder “0.000” kg.
2) Stellen Sie das Objekt, das Sie wiegen wollen, auf die Küchenwaage. Das stabilisierte
Gewicht erscheint im Display.
3) Entfernen Sie das Objekt von der Küchenwaage.
4) Die Waage schaltet sich automatisch ab nach etwa 45 Sekunden. Sie können
ebenfalls jederzeit die Waage abschalten, indem Sie während 2 Sekunden auf die
Taste “ON/OFF/TARE” drücken.
Zuwiegefunktion
Diese Funktion ermöglicht Ihnen, nur den Inhalt eines Behälters zu wiegen, ohne den Behälter
selbst zu wiegen.
1) Drücken Sie leicht mit Ihrem Finger auf die Taste “ON/OFF”. Die Waage schaltet an
und “HELO” erscheint einige Sekunden im Display und dann erscheint “0” g, “0.000”
lb, “0.00” oz oder “0.000” kg.
2) Stellen Sie den leeren Behälter (z.B. eine Schüssel) auf die Wiegeplattform. Das

3) Drücken Sie auf die Taste “TARE” um das Gewicht auf Null zu stellen. Das Gewicht des
Behälters erscheint jetzt als "0" im Display, obwohl er immer noch auf der
Wiegeplattform steht.
4) Geben Sie die Zutaten in den Behälter und lesen Sie das Gewicht ab, wenn das
Display sich stabilisiert hat. Nur das Gewicht der Zutaten im Behälter erscheint im
Display.
5) Falls Sie mehrere Zutaten hintereinander wiegen/hinzufügen müssen in demselben
Behälter, ermöglicht die Zuwiegefunktion Ihnen, um jedes Mal das genaue Gewicht
der hinzugefügten Zutat zu sehen.
6) Die Waage schaltet sich automatisch ab falls nichts unternommen wird innerhalb von
45 Sekunden. Sie können ebenfalls jederzeit die Waage abschalten, indem Sie
während 2 Sekunden auf die Taste “ON/OFF/TARE” drücken.
Übersteuerungsanzeige
Wenn das Symbol im LCD-Display erscheint, bedeutet dies dass das maximal
akzeptierbare Gewicht überschritten ist. Entfernen Sie bitte das Objekt von der Wiegeplattform
um die Waage nicht zu beschädigen.
Anzeige niedriger atteriestatus
Wenn das Symbol im LCD-Display erscheint, sollten Sie die Batterie wechseln (siehe
Abschnitt Vor dem Gebrauch).



IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the
safety and operating instructions.
Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way,
due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge,
must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use the appliance if it shows

Low battery indicator and overload indicator
efore the first use
This appliance works with 1 lithium battery (3V, type CR2032, included). Remove the lid of the
battery compartment on the rear part of the scales. Place the battery, the positive pole facing
outwards and then put back the lid.
You can now use your scales.
Weight unit
Your scales allows you to use the metric measurement system (grams/kilograms) OR the
imperial system (pounds/ounces). Choose the measurement system by pressing the small
pushbutton situated on the rear side of the appliance when the appliance is switched on. The
default measurement unit is “grams”. If you press the button, the measurement unit will be
“pounds”. Measurement unit “ounce” will be activated if the button is pressed once more.
Then measurement unit “kilogram” will be activated if the button is pressed once more.



USE
Put the scales on an even and hard surface, for instance a table. Avoid soft surfaces.
Normal weighing
1) Press the “ON/OFF” key lightly with your finger. The scales will turn on and the LCD
display will show “HELO” for a few seconds and then “0” g, “0.000” lb, “0.00” oz or
“0.000” kg.
2) Put the object you want to weigh on the kitchen scale. The stabilized weight is
displayed.
3) Remove the object from the kitchen scale.
4) The scale turns off automatically after about 45 seconds. You can also switch the
scale off anytime by keeping the “ON/OFF/TARE” key pressed for two seconds.
Tare function
With the tare function you can measure only the content of a container without measuring the
weight of the container itself.
1) Press the “ON/OFF” key lightly with your finger. The scales will turn on and the LCD
display will show “HELO” for a few seconds and then “0” g, “0.000” lb, “0.00” oz or
“0.000” kg.
2) Put the empty container (for instance a bowl) on the weighing platform. The
stabilized weight is displayed.
3) Press the “TARE” key to reset the weight to "0". The weight of the container will now be
displayed as zero, even though it remains on the weighing platform.
4) Add the ingredients into the container and read the weight when the display is
stable. Only the weight of the ingredients in the container will be displayed.
5) If you have to weigh/add several ingredients one after another in the same
container, you can also use the tare function and in this way you will each time get
the exact weight of the ingredient you have added.
6) The scale turns off automatically if there is no action within 45 seconds. You can also
switch the scale off anytime by keeping the “ON/OFF/TARE” key pressed for two
seconds.
Overload indicator
If the symbol appears on the LCD screen, it means that the maximum weight
accepted by your scales is exceeded, please remove the object from the weighing platform in
order not to damage your scales.
Low battery indicator
If the symbol is displayed on the LCD screen, it means that the battery of your scales
should be replaced (see paragraph efore the first use).

If your appliance does not work properly, it is probably because the battery is discharged. In
that case, replace it with a new one of the same type (see paragraph efore the first use).
Please dispose of the old batteries in an environmentally friendly way.



TIPS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE
Be careful when manipulating the scale because it is a precision device.
Clean the outside parts only with a slightly damp cloth.
Never use abrasive products to clean your scales.
NEVER SE THIS APPLIANCE NEAR WATER, NEVER IMMERSE IT IN WATER OR ANY LIQ ID
WHATSOEVER.
Keep the scales in a cool and dry place.
Always keep your scales in a horizontal position.
No liability will be taken for damages caused by an inappropriate use. The warranty becomes
null and void if the appliance has been opened or damaged.

Première mise en marche
Cet appareil fonctionne avec 1 pile lithium de 3V type CR2032 (fournie).
Enlevez le couvercle du logement de la pile situé à l'arrière de la balance.
Introduisez la pile (pôle positif vers l’extérieur), puis refermez le couvercle.
Votre balance peut maintenant être utilisée.
Unité de poids
Votre balance vous permet d’utiliser le système de mesure métrique (grammes/kilogrammes)
ou impérial (livres/onces).
Choisissez le système de mesure en appuyant sur le petit bouton poussoir se trouvant à l’arrière
de la balance lorsque celle-ci est allumée. Par défaut, l’unité de mesure est le "gramme". En
appuyant une nouvelle fois sur le bouton, l’unité de mesure sera la "livre". L’unité de mesure
"once" sera activée si le bouton est actionné une nouvelle fois. Puis l’unité de mesure
"kilogramme" sera activée si le bouton est actionné encore une fois.



FONCTIONNEMENT
Placez la balance sur une surface dure et plane, par exemple une table. Évitez les surfaces
molles.
Pesée normale
1) Appuyez légèrement sur la touche “ON/OFF” avec votre doigt. La balance
s’allumera et l’écran LCD affichera “HELO” pendant quelques secondes et puis “0” g,
“0.000” lb, “0.00” oz ou “0.000” kg.
2) Mettez l’objet que vous désirez peser sur la balance de cuisine. Affichage du poids
stabilisé.
3) Enlevez l’objet de la balance de cuisine.
4) La balance s’éteint automatiquement après environ 45 secondes. Vous pouvez
également éteindre l’appareil à tout moment en appuyant sur la touche
“ON/OFF/TARE” pendant 2 secondes.
Fonction tare
La fonction tare vous permet de mesurer uniquement le poids du contenu d’un récipient sans
mesurer le poids du récipient.
1) Appuyez légèrement sur la touche “ON/OFF” avec votre doigt. La balance
s’allumera et l’écran LCD affichera “HELO” pendant quelques secondes et puis “0” g,
“0.000” lb, “0.00” oz ou “0.000” kg.
2) Placez le récipient vide (par exemple un bol) sur le plateau. L’écran affichera le poids
stabilisé.
3) Appuyez sur la touche “TARE” afin de remettre le poids à "0". L’écran affichera le
poids du récipient comme zéro, bien qu’il reste sur le plateau.
4) Ajoutez les ingrédients dans le récipient et lisez le poids quand l’écran s’est stabilisé.
L’écran affichera uniquement le poids des ingrédients dans le récipient.
5) Si vous devez peser/ajouter plusieurs ingrédients l’un à la suite de l’autre dans le
même récipient, vous pouvez aussi utiliser la fonction tare, comme cela vous voyez
chaque fois le poids exact de ce que vous rajoutez.
6) La balance s’éteint automatiquement s’il n’y a pas d’action dans les 45 secondes.
Vous pouvez également éteindre l’appareil à tout moment en appuyant sur la
touche “ON/OFF/TARE” pendant 2 secondes.
Indication de surcharge
Si le symbole apparaît sur l’écran LCD, cela signifie que le poids maximal accepté
par votre balance est dépassé, veuillez enlever l’objet du plateau afin d'éviter d’endommager
votre balance.
Avertisseur de batterie faible
Si le symbole apparaît sur l’écran LCD, cela signifie que la pile de votre balance doit
être remplacée (voir paragraphe Première mise en marche).
Pile
Si votre appareil ne fonctionne plus correctement, cela signifie probablement que la pile est
déchargée. Dans ce cas, remplacez-la par une pile de type identique (voir paragraphe
Première mise en marche).
Veuillez éliminer les piles usagées de manière écologique.



ELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN

GE RUIK
Zet de weegschaal op een effen, hard oppervlak zoals bijvoorbeeld een tafel. Vermijd zachte
ondergronden.
Normale weging
1) Druk lichtjes met uw vinger op de toets “ON/OFF”. De weegschaal zal opstarten en
op het LCD-display verschijnt gedurende enkele seconden “HELO” en dan verschijnt
“0” g, “0.000” lb, “0.00” oz of “0.000” kg.
2) Leg het object dat u wilt wegen op de weegschaal. Het gestabiliseerde gewicht
verschijnt op het display.
3) Verwijder het object van de weegschaal.
4) De weegschaal schakelt zich automatisch uit na ongeveer 45 seconden. kunt de
weegschaal ook op eender welk moment uitschakelen door 2 seconden op de toets
“ON/OFF/TARE” te drukken.
Tarrafunctie
Dankzij deze functie kunt u enkel de inhoud van een recipiënt wegen zonder het gewicht van
de recipiënt zelf te meten.
1) Druk lichtjes met uw vinger op de toets “ON/OFF”. De weegschaal zal opstarten en
op het LCD-display verschijnt gedurende enkele seconden “HELO” en dan verschijnt

2) Zet de lege recipiënt (bv. een kom) op de weegschaal. Het gestabiliseerde gewicht

3) Druk op de toets “TARE” om het gewicht terug op "0" te zetten. Het gewicht van de
recipiënt wordt dan weergegeven als nul, hoewel de recipiënt nog steeds op de
weegschaal staat.
4) Doe de ingrediënten in de recipiënt en lees het gewicht af wanneer het scherm zich
heeft gestabiliseerd. Enkel het gewicht van de ingrediënten in de recipiënt zal
worden weergegeven.
5) Als u meerdere ingrediënten na elkaar moet wegen/toevoegen in dezelfde recipiënt,
kunt u de tarrafunctie ook gebruiken en op deze manier verkrijgt u elke keer het

Overbelasting
Als het symbool op het LCD-scherm verschijnt, dan is het maximaal toegelaten
gewicht overschreden. Verwijder het object van de weegschaal om de weegschaal niet te
beschadigen.
Aanduiding bij lage batterijstand
Als het symbool op het LCD-scherm verschijnt, dan moet de batterij vervangen

FUNCIONAMIENTO

Peso normal

FUNCIONAMENTO DA ALANÇA
Coloque a balança assente sobre uma superfície nivelada e dura, por exemplo, uma mesa.
Não coloque a balança sobre superfícies moles.
Peso Normal
1) Pressione sobre o botão “ON/OFF” ligeiramente com o seu dedo. A balança
acenderá o visor que mostrará “HELO” durante alguns segundos e depois "0" g,
"0.000" lb, "0.00" oz ou "0.000" kg.
2) Coloque o objeto que quer pesar sobre a balança de cozinha. O peso estabilizado é
exibido.
3) Retire o objeto de cima da balança de cozinha.
4) A balança desliga-se automaticamente passados 45 segundos. Pode voltar a
acender a balança em qualquer momento pressionando sobre o botão
“ON/OFF/TARE” durante 2 segundos.
Função Tara
Com a função de tara pode medir apenas o teor de um recipiente sem medir o peso do
recipiente propriamente dito.
1) Pressione sobre o botão “ON/OFF” ligeiramente com o seu dedo. A balança
acenderá o visor que mostrará “HELO” durante alguns segundos e depois "0" g,
"0.000" lb, "0.00" oz ou "0.000" kg.
2) Coloque o recipiente vazio (por exemplo uma tigela) na superfície de pesagem. O
peso estabilizado aparecerá no visor.
3) Pressione sobre o botão “TARE” para redefinir o peso a "0". O peso do recipiente
aparecerá agora como zero, mesmo que este permaneça sobre a superfície.
4) Coloque os ingredientes no recipiente e leia o peso no ecrã quando este estabilizar.
O peso que aparece é apenas dos ingredientes que estão dentro do recipiente.
5) Se tiver que pesar/adicionar vários ingredientes um após o outro no mesmo
recipiente, pode utilizar a função tara e, desta forma vai ter sempre o peso exato do
ingrediente que adicionou.
6) A balança apaga-se automaticamente se estiver inativa durante 45 segundos. Pode
voltar a acender a balança em qualquer momento pressionando sobre o botão
“ON/OFF/TARE” durante 2 segundos.
Indicação de sobre pesagem
Caso surja no ecrã digital o simbolo tal significa que o peso máximo admitido pela
balança foi ultrapassado. Retire o objeto do balança de cozinha a fim de não danificar a sua
balança.
Indicação de pilhas gastas
Caso apareça no ecrã digital o simbolo , tal significa que a pilha tem a carga fraca
pelo que a deve substituir (ver paragrafo Primeira utilização).
Pilha
Caso a balança deixe de funcionar correctamente, tal significa eventualmente que a pilha
está sem carga. Se assim for, substitua-a por outra do mesmo tipo (ver paragrafo Primeira
utilização).
Coloque a pilha no local de recolha apropriado para o tratamento ecológico da mesma.
