GETTINGSTARTED:
(Readentireinstructionsbeforeoperating)
Thisunitshouldoperatewiththebottomfeetrestingonaflatsurface.Theinternalheatexchangeriscooledbya
tubeaxialfan.Itisnecessarytokeeptheinlet/outletairpathfreefromanyrestrictionsthatmayimpedeyourcooling
performance.A6"minimumspacingfromtherearoftheunittoanyobstructionisrequired.Externaltubingwithinsulationhas
beenprovidedforatotalof12'plumbingline.Trimthetubingandinsulationasnecessarytominimizetheambientthermal
load.4clampshavebeenprovidedtoattachthetubing(2tothequickconnectorsprovidedand2foryourloadconnectors).
Thetubinglinesarea3/8"innerdiameter.Connecttheexternalplumbinglinestothedevice(s)beingcooled.
Lowfluidandlowflowindicatorshavebeenprovidedonthefrontpanel.Itisnecessarytofilltheinternalreservoir
beforeyouapplypower.Theinternalreservoirholdsapproximately500
mloffluid.The“addfluid”lightwillcomeonwhenthereservoirisapproximately½full.Thereisavisualindicatorofthewater
levelonthesideoftheunit.Distilledwateristherecommendedfluidfortemperaturesto5C.Fortemperaturesbelow5C,a
30%glycol70%distilledwatermixissuggested.Removethereservoircaplocatedatthetopleftcorneroftheunitand fillthe
reservoir.Keepthereservoircapoffuntiltheexternalplumbingisfilledandthereservoiristoppedoff.
Connectthepowercordtoanappropriateoutlet.Thepowercordmustbeconnectedtoareceptacle
protectedbyacircuitprotectedperlocalandornationalcodes.Whileyouarefillingtheexternallines,positionthesupply
quickconnectupwards.(SeeFigureA)Thiswillassistinremovingairtrappedinthelines.Atthispoint,depressthe power switch
onthefrontpaneltoturnthesystemon.Fora12'plumbingline,itshouldtakeabout30secondsbeforethe“addfluid”light
illuminates.Atthispoint,turnthepoweroffandaddadditionalfluid.Re-applypower.Another30secondsorsoshouldbe
enoughtimetocompletelyfillthelines.Turnoffthepowerswitchandtopoffthereservoir.Reattachthereservoircapsecurely.
PleaseNote:Itmaybenecessarytoaddfluidtothereservoirfromtimetotime.The“addfluid”indicatorwillilluminateifthe
reservoirrequiresarefill.Ifthe“lowflow”indicatorlightappears,checktosee ifthereareanyobstructionsorleakswithinthe
plumbinglines.
The“lowflow”indicatorappearswhentheflowisapproximately0.3liter/minorless.
Adigitaltemperaturecontrollerhasbeenprovided.Holdthe*buttonandadjusttoadjustthesetpoint.More
detailedtemperaturecontrolinformationhasbeenincludedwithyourproductinformationpacket.Wesuggestchangingthe
temperaturecontrollersprogrammingtoaPIDcontrolmethodandthenperforminganautotuneforbettertemperature control.

incidentalorotherdamagesmayalsobemade.Allreturnedgoodsmustbe
sentfreightprepaid.Arestockingchargeof15%willapply.Onspecial
