GETTINGSTARTED:
(Readentireinstructionsbeforeoperating)
Thisunitshouldoperatewiththebottomfeetrestingonaflatsurface.Theinternalheatexchangeriscooledby
atubeaxialfan.Itisnecessarytokeeptheinlet/outletairpathfreefromanyrestrictionsthatmayimpedeyourcooling
performance.A6"minimumspacingfromtherearoftheunittoanyobstructionisrequired.Externaltubingwithinsulationhas
beenprovidedforatotalof12'plumbingline.Trimthetubingandinsulationasnecessarytominimizetheambientthermal
load.4clampshavebeenprovidedtoattachthetubing(2tothequickconnectorsprovidedand2foryourload
connectors).Thetubinglinesarea3/8"innerdiameter.Connecttheexternalplumbinglinestothedevice(s)beingcooled.
Lowfluidandlowflowindicatorshavebeenprovidedonthefrontpanel.Itisnecessarytofilltheinternal
reservoirbeforeyouapplypower.Theinternalreservoirholds
approximately500mloffluid.The“addfluid”lightwillcomeonwhenthereservoirisapproximately½full.Thereisavisual
indicatorofthewaterlevelonthesideoftheunit.Distilledwateristherecommendedfluidfortemperaturesto5C.For
temperaturesbelow5C,a30%glycol70%distilledwatermixissuggested.Removethereservoircaplocatedatthetopleft
corneroftheunitandfillthereservoir.Keepthereservoircapoffuntiltheexternalplumbingisfilledandthereservoiristopped
off.
Connectthepowercordtoanappropriateoutlet.Thepowercordmustbeconnectedtoareceptacle
protectedbyacircuitprotectedperlocalandornationalcodes.Whileyouarefillingtheexternallines,positionthesupply
quickconnectupwards.(SeeFigureA)Thiswillassistinremovingairtrappedinthelines.Atthispoint,depressthe power
switchonthefrontpaneltoturnthesystemon.Fora12'plumbingline,itshouldtakeabout30secondsbeforethe“addfluid”
lightilluminates.Atthispoint,turnthepoweroffandaddadditionalfluid.Re-applypower.Another30secondsorsoshould
beenoughtimetocompletelyfillthelines.Turnoffthepowerswitchandtopoffthereservoir.Reattachthereservoircap
securely.
PleaseNote:Itmaybenecessarytoaddfluidtothereservoirfromtimetotime.The“addfluid”indicatorwillilluminateifthe
reservoirrequiresarefill.Ifthe“lowflow”indicatorlightappears,checktosee ifthereareanyobstructionsorleakswithinthe
plumbinglines.
The“lowflow”indicatorappearswhentheflowisapproximately0.3liter/minorless.
Adigitaltemperaturecontrollerhasbeenprovided.Holdthe*buttonandadjusttoadjustthesetpoint.
Moredetailedtemperaturecontrolinformationhasbeenincludedwithyourproductinformationpacket.Wesuggest
changingthetemperaturecontrollersprogrammingtoaPIDcontrolmethodandthenperforminganautotuneforbetter
temperaturecontrol.

inspecttheproductatBuyer’slocation,orrequirethattheproductbemade
availableatBuyer’sexpenseatTECA’spremisesforTECA’sinspection
