To ensure excellent coffee, the best is to rinse the machine with hot water as
follows:

8
Open the cover
Pour some water into the tank. (Without exceeding the maximum level nor
putting coffee in the filter)
Close the tank cover.
Place a large mug in the coffee maker.
Connect the device.
Press the power switch. (On the back of the device).
Note: the indicator light comes on to confirm that the coffee maker is on
voltage.
Press the Turn on switch (on the side). The indicator light comes on.
The Coffee maker begins to heat up. When the water is hot, it passes
through the filter and fills the container.
When the cycle is complete, the indicator light will go out and the device will
no longer heat up, however, the power switch remains on and the device is
still powered on.
To brew one or two more cups of coffee, wait for the indicator light to go out
and repeat the brewing procedure.
Caution : Attempt to start another brew cycle before the coffee maker cools
down and the indicator light is off, may cause an incomplete cycle. As the
device is equipped with a switch thermal, to avoid overheating, it can stop.

has cooled down.

Before starting the appliance to prepare a cup of coffee, always make
sure the correct amount of water is poured for the cup being used. If the
level is too high there is a risk of overflow.
Also make sure that the cup is large enough that both pourers flow
inside the mug. (Or, put 2 cups).
For proper use, empty and clean the filter after each use.
Carefully remove the filter when it is hot.
Tips for a tasty coffee
• Always use fresh, cold water.
• For stronger or milder coffee, increase or decrease the amount of ground
coffee according to your taste.
• Finer coffee grinds promote full flavour extraction and result in a rich, full-
bodied coffee.

9
• Store ground coffee in an airtight container, protected from light and in a
cool, dry place. It can be stored in the refrigerator to maintain its freshness.
• For the best coffee taste, buy coffee beans and grind them finely just
before brewing.
• Do not reuse coffee grounds, this considerably reduces the flavour of the
coffee.
• Reheating the coffee is also not recommended as the coffee becomes
bitter and tastes bad.
• A clean coffee maker is essential for brewing great-tasting coffee. Clean it
regularly as specified in the “Care and maintenance” section.
CLEANING AND DECALCIFICATION
The hardness of drinking water varies by region. Lime particles settle in the
water as residues in the machine and can block the hoses and cause
malfunction or damage. To avoid this, be sure to decalcify the machine after
300 to 400 uses, or, after one or two months or, in any case, if the flow
drops significantly.
Decalcification must be done correctly to avoid damage. It is therefore
essential to follow these instructions.
- Never clean the machine with vinegar. This causes damage and can make
your coffee taste unpleasant.
- Damage caused by improper decalcification or lack of decalcification is not
covered by warranty.
- Buy a commercial descaler (or decalcification liquid). Dilute it according to
the manufacturer's instructions and pour the mixture into the water tank.
- Place a large bowl under the distribution heads to collect the mixture and
the scale and lime residues.
- Fill the tank with the mixture.
Note : Make sure the solution is completely dissolved.
- Press the coffee maker Turn on switch (on the side) to circulate the
descaling liquid in the coffee maker. Repeat the operation two or three
times.
- To rinse the internal circuit, repeat the operation with fresh water (without
descaling solution).
STORAGE
-Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry.
-Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this will cause damage.
-Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place and out of reach from children.
