1 DESCRIZIONE DEL DISPOSITIVO 1
DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE
La idropistola ML955 è un dispositivo che impedisce il
passaggio del fluido a leva rilasciata. E’ dotata di una sicura
per impedire l’apertura accidentale.
Può essere utilizzata con pompe aventi pressioni nominali fino
a 360 bar – 36 MPa – 5220 psi e pressioni ammissibili fino a
400 bar – 40 MPa – 5800 psi.
La idropistola apre e chiude il circuito tramite uno stelo e una
sede in acciaio temprato; necessita di una forza minima di
apertura e di mantenimento.
La idropistola ha dimensioni contenute e peso ridotto;
montaggio e manutenzione facile.
The ML955 spray gun is a device that prevents the fluid flow
passage when the trigger is not pulled. It’s provided by a safety
lock to avoid the trigger accidental opening.
It must be used with pumps with rated pressure up to 360 bar
– 36 MPa – 5220 psi and permissible pressure up to 400 bar –
40 MPa – 5800 psi.
The gun opens and closes the system/circuit through a stem
and a tempered steel seat; it’s also provided with soft-touch
shells for a comfortable grip and it requires a low force for
trigger pulling and keeping in pulled position.
The spray gun has compact size, reduced weight, easy
assembly and maintenance.

Nei periodi invernali, prima di riporre la pistola, ricordarsi di
svuotarla completamente e di riporla in un ambiente protetto dal
gelo.
The spay gun is designed for continuous use from 5°C (41°F) a
90°C (194°F). Can withstand for short periods at a maximum
temperature of 160°C (320°F).
For the winter storage, the spray gun must be completely drained
from water and store the gun in a frost free room.

4 MODALITA’ DI SELEZIONE 4 HOW TO CHOOSE
L’idropistola ML955 è indicata per un utilizzo con acqua dolce
e pulita anche leggermente additivata. Nel caso di utilizzo con
acqua avente impurità in sospensione, impiegare una
adeguata filtrazione. La scelta della pistola deve essere fatta in
base ai dati di funzionamento dell’impianto che sono
rappresentati da: Pressione Nominale, Pressione Ammissibile,
Portata Massima, e Temperatura Massima. Assicurarsi che in
nessun caso eventuali picchi di pressione superino la
Pressione Ammissibile per cui la pistola è stata progettata.
The ML955 spray gun is suitable for use with soft and clean
water, also with a slight amount of additives. If used with water
with suspended impurities, use a suitable filter. The spray gun
must be chosen based on the operating data of the system,
namely: Rated pressure, Permissible pressure, Maximum flow
rate and Rated temperature. Make sure in any case the
possible pressure spikes do not exceed the Permissible
pressure for which the spray gun has been designed.

5 DESTINAZIONE D’USO 5 INTENDED USE
L’idropistola ML955 è destinata ad equipaggiare impianti e/o
idropulitrici.
A salvaguardia dell’impianto e delle persone installare
sempre una valvola di sicurezza sul ramo di mandata in
pressione.
The ML955 spray gun is designed to be used on high pressure
water fixed systems and high pressure washers.
To safeguard the system and people, always install a
safety valve on the pump pressure outlet.
6 SCELTA DELL’ UGELLO 6 NOZZLE SELECTION
L’ugello deve essere scelto in base alla portata della pompa ed
alla pressione desiderata. Per facilitare l’individuazione dei
valori tra misura dell’ugello, portata e pressione i dati sono stati
inseriti in una tabella. Tale tabella è consultabile sul catalogo
Mecline e sul sito internet www.tecomec.com.
Scegliendo l’ugello desiderato e regolando la valvola, montata
a monte della idropistola, si deve ottenere un valore costante
della pressione per evitare i picchi di pressione alla chiusura
dell’impianto.
Se l’ugello si usura si osserva un calo di pressione sul circuito.
Dopo la sostituzione dell’ugello ritarare l’impianto.
The nozzle size has to be selected based on the pump flow
and pressure required. To facilitate the nozzle choice, the
values of nozzle size, flow rate and pressure, have been
reported in a table. This table is printed on the Mecline
products catalogue and on the web site www.tecomec.com.
Through the choice of the desired nozzle size and the pressure
adjustment of the valve, placed before the spray gun, it must
be obtained a constant pressure value for avoiding pressure
spikes when the system is closed/ shut off.
When the nozzle is wearing out, a pressure drop happens in
the circuit.
After the nozzle replacement, it is required to recalibrate the
system.
7 VERIFICA STABILITA’ IMPUGNATURA 7 CHECKING STABILITY HANDLE
Non utilizzare la pistola in combinazione con la massima
pressione e la massima portata. La forza di reazione sulla
pistola deve essere limitata. Consultare la EN 60335-2-79.
Do not use the spray gun in combination with the maximum
pressure and the maximum flow rate. The reaction force on the
spay gun must be limited. Refer to the EN 60335-2-79.

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: TO BE INSTALLED EXCLUSIVELY
BY PROFESSIONALS
PRESCRIZIONI DI SICUREZZA: Durante le fasi di
installazione (compresa l’apertura degli imballi contenenti le
idropistole), pulizia, manutenzione e smantellamento
l’operatore deve essere dotato di opportuni mezzi protettivi
personali (guanti, occhiali, schermi protettivi, ecc.) e deve
accertarsi che:
• l’alimentazione elettrica sia scollegata;
• l’impianto idraulico non sia in pressione;
• tutti i componenti della macchina e del fluido siano a
temperatura ambiente.
Collegamento all’impianto:
- per il collegamento del tubo in entrata serrare con 20÷25 Nm
avendo l’avvertenza di tenere bloccato il raccordo di entrata
della pistola con una seconda chiave.
Per montare la lancia alla idropistola:
• bloccare una chiave esagonale Es 19 in morsa e
inserire la pistola nella sede chiave;
• sui filetti del tubo della lancia applicare del frenafiletti
forte Loctite 2701 ®;
• avvitare il nipplo porta ugello insieme al tubo. La
coppia di serraggio da utilizzare è di 20÷25 Nm.
E’ vietato l’utilizzo della idropistola ML955 senza una lancia in
uscita. La idropistola ML955 deve essere utilizzata con una
lancia di lunghezza minima di 75 cm.
Per montare l’ugello si deve utilizzare una coppia di serraggio
di 18÷20 Nm.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: During the installation phases
(including the opening of the packaging containing guns),
cleaning, maintenance and dismantling the operator must be
equipped with suitable personal protection fitting (gloves,
goggles, protective shields, and so on) and must ensure that:
• the power supply is disconnected;
• the hydraulic system is not under pressure;
• all the machine components and the fluid are at room
temperature.
Connection to the system:
- for the pipe connection to the gun inlet, tighten with 20÷25
Nm having the caution to keep blocked the inlet fitting of the
gun with a second wrench.
For the lance mounting to the gun:
• lock a spanner Hex. 19 in a vice and insert the spray
gun on its seat;
• on the stainless steel pipe’s thread of the lance apply
some thread locker strong Loctite 2701 ®;
• screw the nozzle holder nipple together with the pipe;
torque for connections 20÷25 Nm.
Is forbidden to use the ML955 spray gun without a lance at the
gun outlet. The ML955 spray gun must be used with a lance of
a minimum length of 75 cm (29.5” inch)
For the nozzle mounting use a torque for connections of 18 ÷
20 Nm.

10 MANUTENZIONE 10 MAINTENANCE
La ML955 non necessita di manutenzione giornaliera.
La manutenzione ordinaria deve essere effettuata da operatori
professionali come segue:
• ogni 500 ore di funzionamento o dopo circa 12500
cicli, controllare e lubrificare le guarnizioni con grasso
resistente all’acqua;
• ogni 1000 ore di funzionamento o dopo circa 25000
cicli, controllare l’usura dei componenti interni e se danneggiati
sostituirli, avendo cura prima dell’installazione di lubrificare le
guarnizioni con grasso resistente all’acqua.
ML955 doesn’t require daily maintenance.
The ordinary maintenance must be carried out as follows:
• every 500 hours of operation or after about 12500
cycles, check and lubricate the seals with waterproof grease;
• every 1000 hours of operation or after about 25000
cycles, check wear of internal components and replace them if
damaged. Before doing the replacement by the new parts, take
care to lubricate the seals using waterproof grease.
