Ellipsoidal LED luminaire
Lycozoom 50 is an ellipsoidal LED luminaire powered
by 1 warm white 100W LED that works at 3000K and
match the brightness of traditional 575W halogen x-
tures. Ideal for theater, social & studio applications, Ly-
cozoom 50 sports long-life LEDs with a very low heat
generation and power consumption. With a extreme-
ly at eld projection, the xture works with metal or
glass gobos and has a 16-bit dimmer with 4 dimming
curves. Including a 25º-50º zoom lens tube Lycozoom
50 is a really versatile, silent & icker-free alternative
to conventional xtures.

2. SAFETY

WARNING!
Before carrying out any operations with the unit, carefully read this instruction
manual and keep it with cure for future reference. It contains important information
about the installation, usage and maintenance of the unit
General instruction
• The products referred to in this manual con-
form to the European Community Directives
and are therefore marked with .
• The unit is supplied with hazardous network
voltage (230V~). Leave servicing to skilled per-
sonnel only. Never make any modications on
the unit not described in this instruction manu-
al, otherwise you will risk an electric shock.
• Connection must be made to a power supply
system tted with eicient earthing (Class 1 ap-
pliance according to standard EN 60598-1). It is,
moreover, recommended to protect the supply
lines of the units from indirect contact and/or
shorting to earth by using appropriately sized
residual current devices.
• The connection to main network of electric
distribution must be carried out by a qualied
electrical installer. Check that the main fre-
quency and voltage correspond to those for
which the unit is designed as given on the
electrical data label.
• This unit is not for home use, only profession-
al applications.
• Never use the xture under the following
conditions:
• in places subject to vibrations or bumps;
• in places with a temperature of over 40 °C
• Make certain that no inammable liquids,
water or metal objects enter the xture.
• Do not dismantle of modify the xture.
• All work must allways be carried out by quali-
ed technical personnel. Contact the nearest
saled point fo an inspection or contact the
manufacturer directly.
• If the unit is to be put out of operation den-
itively, take it to a local recycling plant for a
disposal which is not harmful to the environ-
ment.

3. DESCRIPTION

Warnings and installation precautions
• If this device will be operated in amy way
dierent to the one described in this manual, it
may suer damage and the guarantee becomes
void. Furthermore, any other operation may
lead to dangers like short circuit, burns, electric
shock, etc.
• Before starting any maintenance work or clear-
ing the projector, cut o power from the main
supply.
• Always additionally secure the projector with
the safety rope. When carrying out any work,
always comply scrupulously with all the regula-
tions (particularly regarding safety) currently in
force in the country in which the xture´s being
used.
• Install the xture in a well ventilated place.
• Keep any inammable material at a safe dis-
tance from the xture.
• Shields, lenses or ultraviolet screens shall
be changed if they have become damaged
to such an extent that their eectiveness is
impaired.
• The lamp (LED) shall be changed if it has be-
come damaged or thermally deformed.
• Never look directly ar the light beam. Please
note that fast changes in lighting, e.g. ashing
light, may trigger epileptic seizures in photo-
sensitive persons or persons with epilepsy.
• Do not touch the product’s housing when
operating because it may be very hot.

6. OPERATION
1- Channel Mode

FRAMING SHUTTERS
• Use the (4) framing shutters to shape the pro-
jected beam.
ZOOM and FOCUS KNOBS
• Use the Zoom knob to adjust beam angle.
• Use the Focus knob to adjust sharpness of pro-
jected patterns or beam edges.
CUSTOM GOBOS
• The gobo holder accepts M size (66mm outer/
48mm inner) custom gobos.
GELS
• Color gels may be inserted in the gel frame,
which ts into the gel frame holder.
DMX MODES
• Press MENU button until 1-CH or 3-CH is dis-
played Press ENTER to select 1-channel or
3-channel DMX mode.
• Press UP or DOWN to select DMX starting ad-
dress Press ENTER.
MANUAL DIMMING AND STROBE
• Press MENU button until U-- is displayed.
• Press ENTER.
• Press UP or DOWN to select dimmer (d000-
255) or strobe (S000-255).
• Press ENTER and use UP or DOWN to select
values.
SELECTING DIMMER CURVES
• Press MENU button until dIM is displayed.
• Press ENTER.
• Press UP or DOWN to select dimmer curve
(OFF, dIM1, dIM2, dIM3).
• Press ENTER.
FAN
• Press MENU button until FAN is displayed.
• Press ENTER.
• Press UP or DOWN to select AUTO or ON.
• Press ENTER.

7. MAINTENANCE
• Make sure the area below the installation place
is free from unwanted persons during setup.
• Switch o the unit, unplug the main cable and
wait until the unit has cooled down.
• All screws used for installing the device and
any of its parts should be tightly fastened and
should not be corroded.
• Housing, xations and installation spots (ceil-
ing, trusses, suspensions) slound be totally free
from any deformation.
• The main cables must be in impeccable condi-
tion and should be replaced immediately even
1. Remove the safety cap by a screwdriver.
2. Replace the blown fuse with a fuse to the exact same type and rating (T2A-250V)
3. Install the safety cap, and reconnect power.
when a small problem is detected.
• It is recommended to clean the front at regu-
lar internvals, from impurities caused by dust,
smoke, or other particles to ensure that the
light is radiated at maximum brightness. For
cleaning, disconnect the main plug from the
socket. Use a so, clan cloth moistened with
a mild detergent. The carefullt wipe the part
dry. For cleaning other housing parts use only
a so, clean cloth. Never use a liquid, it might
penetrate the unit and cause damage to it.

8. TROUBLESHOOTING
Contact an authorized service center in case of technical problems or not reported in the table can not be
resolved by the procedure given in the table.

Luminaria LED elipsoidal
Lycozoom 50 es una luminaria LED elipsoidal que
tiene 1 LED blanco cálido de 100W, trabaja a 3000K
y alcanza los niveles de luminosidad de los tradi-
cionales equipos halógenos de 575W. Ideal para
aplicaciones de teatro, eventos sociales y estudio,
Lycozoom 50 posibilita un gran ahorro energético,
además de contar con fuentes de luz de larga vida y
una generación de calor muy baja. Con un campo de
proyección plano y nivelado, el equipo trabaja con
gobos de metal y vidrio, y cuenta con un dimmer de
16-bit con cuatro curvas de dimmeo. Incluyendo un
lente zoom de 25º a 50º, Lycozoom 50 es una alter-
nativa versátil y silenciosa a los equipos elipsoidales
convencionales.

2. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
ATENCIÓN
Lea atentamente el manual antes de utilizar el equipo y procure seguir las instruc-
ciones. Consérvelo para futuras referencias ya que contiene información importante
sobre el uso, la instalación y el mantenimiento del equipo.
Instrucciones generales
• Este equipo cumple con las Directivas de la
Comunidad Europea y, por lo tanto, cuenta con
certicación CE.
• El equipo funciona con un voltaje de entrada de
230V~. Para su instalación, póngase en contac-
to con un profesional calicado. Para evitar el
riesgo de shock eléctrico, no introduzca modi-
caciones no autorizadas en el equipo.
• El equipo requiere de un sistema de suministro
eléctrico con puesta a tierra (equipo clase I,
norma IEC 60598-1). A su vez, se recomienda
proteger los cables de alimentación de los con-
tactos indirectos y cortocircuitos mediante el
uso de interruptores diferenciales del tamaño
adecuado.
• La instalación eléctrica debe realizarla un
electricista certicado. Procure que el voltaje y
la frecuencia coincidan con los requeridos por
la unidad.
• La unidad está diseñada para uso profesional.
No es de uso residencial.
• Procure no utilizar el equipo bajo las siguientes
condiciones:
• En lugares proclives a vibraciones y sacudidas.
• En lugares con temperatura superior a 40°C.
• En lugares con altos niveles de humedad.
• Evite que líquidos inamables, objetos de metal
o agua entren en contacto con el equipo.
• No desarme o modique el equipo.
• El mantenimiento o reparación del equipo
deben ser realizados por personal calicado.
Pónganse en contacto con el servicio técnico
autorizado más cercano o directamente con su
proveedor.
• Con el n de respetar el medio ambiente, pro-
cure desechar la unidad en la planta de recicla-
do más cercana.

3. DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EQUIPO
Advertencias y precauciones
• La garantía no cubre daños provocados por el
uso inapropiado del equipo. El uso inadecuado
del equipo puede ocasionar quemaduras, cor-
tocircuitos, shock eléctrico, etc.
• Desconecte el equipo del suministro eléctrico
antes de realizar cualquier tarea de limpieza o
mantenimiento.
• Procure utilizar un cable de seguridad para ar-
mar la instalación. Al utilizar la unidad, cumpla
en todo momento con las regulaciones (espe-
cialmente de seguridad) actualmente vigentes
en su país.
• Instale el equipo en una zona con ventilación.
• Mantenga cualquier tipo de material inamable
lejos de la unidad.
• Reemplace la cubierta, los lentes o la luz
ultravioleta si se dañan y comprometen el
óptimo funcionamiento del equipo.
• Reemplace la lámpara de LED si se daña o
sufre deformación por el calor.
• No mire de forma directa hacia la fuente de
luz cuando el equipo esté encendido. La luz
puede generar convulsiones en las personas
fotosensitivas o con epilepsia.
• No toque el equipo durante su funcionami-
ento ya que su temperatura puede ser muy
elevada.

6. INSTRUCCIONES DE USO

FRAMING SHUTTERS
• Utilice los cuatro framing shutters para darle
forma al haz de luz proyectado.
PERILLAS DE ZOOM Y FOCO
• Utilice la perilla de zoom para regular el ángulo
del haz.
• Utilice la perilla de foco para regular la nitidez
de los patrones proyectados o los bordes del
haz.
GOBOS PERSONALIZADOS
• El soporte de gobo se adapta a gobos perso-
nalizados de tamaño mediano (exterior: 66mm,
interior: 48mm).
GEL
• Coloque los geles de color en el soporte
correspondiente para aplicar ltros cromáticos.
MODOS DMX
• Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar 1-CH o
3-CH.
• Luego presione ENTER para seleccionar el
modo DMX deseado entre 1 canal y 3 canales.
• Utilice las echas UP y DOWN para seleccionar
la dirección DMX de inicio.
• Presione ENTER para nalizar.
DIMMER Y ESTROBO MANUALES
• Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar U--.
• Luego presione ENTER para ingresar.
• Utilice las echas UP y DOWN para seleccionar
entre dimmer (d000-255) o estrobo (S000-
255).
• Presione ENTER y luego las teclas UP y DOWN
para escoger los valores.
SELECCIÓN DE CURVAS DIMMER
• Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar dIM.
• Luego presione ENTER para ingresar.
• Utilice las echas UP y DOWN para seleccionar
la curva dimmer deseada (OFF, dIM1, dIM2,
dIM3).

7. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
• Asegúrese de que no haya personas ajenas a la
instalación al momento de jar el equipo.
• Apague el quipo, desconéctelo de la corriente
eléctrica y aguarde a que se enfríe antes de
realizar cualquier tarea de mantenimiento.
• Ajuste bien todos los tornillos que se utilicen
para la instalación del equipo y procure que no
muestren signos de corrosión.
• La cubierta, las herramientas de jación y los
puntos de instalación (cielos rasos, suspen-
siones y sistemas de truss) deben estar libres
de deformaciones.
• Conserve los cables principales en buenas
condiciones. Reemplácelos de forma inmediata
1. Extraiga la tapa de seguridad con un destornillador.
2. Sustituya el fusible quemado por uno nuevo del mismo tipo (T2A-250V).
3. Vuelva a colocar la tapa de seguridad y conecte el equipo.

• Para garantizar el óptimo desempeño del
equipo, es indispensable limpiar el frente con
frecuencia para remover impurezas causadas
por el exceso humo, polvo u otras partículas.
Antes de limpiarlo, desconecte el equipo de
la corriente eléctrica. Utilice un paño suave
humedecido con un detergente suave. Lue-
go seque el frente con cuidado. Para otras
partes del equipo solo emplee un paño suave
y limpio. No utilice ninguna clase de líquidos
ya que podrían ltrarse en el equipo y causar
daños severos.
