the speed by measuring the time it takes for the laser pulse to reect o the target and
back. Laser rangender's performance can be aected by the weather conditions as
well as the size, shape, surfance nish, and the color of the target.
PROWILD can widely be used in various sports such as golng and hunting. It can also
be used for measuring architectural and other outdoor surveys.
Please read the following instructions carefully to increase longevity of the product

1. 'Ready': Range nder or speed nder is ready
2. 'Range': Range nder mode
3. 'Speed': Speed nder mode
4. ' ': Indication of laser transmission
5. ' ': Indication of aiming at
6. '---' : Indication that measurement failed
7. 'KMY/hS': Distance and speed unit indications
8. 'Quality>>>>>' : Indication of laser reception quality
9. ' ' : Low battery indication

4. How it Works
1. Turn the eyepiece of the monocular until the target becomes clear.
2. The PROWILD has two buttons: “Start” button and “Mode” button. Press
button for about 1 second and the PROWILD will start. The LCD will display as below:
3. The PROWILD has two modes: “Range Mode”(Default) and “Speed Mode”. Shortly press
the “MODE” button, and modes will shift to each other. When“Range Mode” is chosen,
“Range”will appear in the LCD. Shortly press the “ ” button and the distance data will
display in the LCD immediately. If holding pressing the “ ” button, scan function starts.
The newly acquired data will display continuously in the LCD. After releasing the “ ”
button, scan function will stop and the LCD will return to initiative state.
4. The laser indicator “ ”will blink when laser is transmitting. While measuring, if the
reection of target is too weak, the LCD will display “----”. If the measurement of distance
succeeds, “Quality>>>>>>”will appear in the LCD. The more symbols“>”, the
stronger the laser reection is.“Range mode” displays as below.

7. Cleaning
Remove dust or dirt on the lens surface using a soft or oil free brush. Remove smudges
or ngerprints by gently rubbing with a soft or high-quality, oil-free tissue. You can use
photographic type lens cleaner or isopropyl alcohol to wipe the lens. Always apply the
uid to the cleaning cloth rst (DO NOT pour on the lens).
5. When“Speed Mode”is chosen, “speed” will appear in the LCD. Shortly press the“ ”
button, and speed mode starts. The speed data will display in 3 seconds. Otherwise, the
speed measurement fails due to the weak laser reection, and the LCD displays “----”.
Please keep aiming at the moving target.
If the measurement succeeds, the laser indicator“ ”will blink, with increasing quality
symbols “>” in the LCD, and the speed data will display in the LCD.
Please keep aiming at the moving target in order to get the speed data. The direction of
speed measurement needs to be as in line with the direction of the moving target as
possible, otherwise the angle will aect the veracity of the data. In “Speed Mode”, the
LCD displays as below.
6. “M” and“Y” is respectively short for meters and yards.“Y/s” and “M/s”is respectively
short for yard per second and meters per second. Measurement units change by long
pressing the “MODE” button in each mode. In“Speed Mode”, When the speed unit is
“M/S”, the gures display as “28-9 M/S” when the data is measured as 28.9 M/S.
7. If the device idles over 30 seconds, it will automatically shut o.
8. When“ ”displays, please change the battery.

8. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Read the instruction manual in its entirety before using this laser rangender. Please
adhere to the following guidelines in order to use the equipment properly
and avoid injury.
• DO NOT aim directly at the sun
• DO NOT power on the unit while looking into the objective lens or the
light-receiving aperture
• DO NOT operate the laser rangender with additional optical elements
• DO NOT disassemble the laser rangender as this will void the warranty
• DO NOT aim at the eyes of other people or animals
• Keep the laser rangender away from children
• Should the rangender come in contact with sand, mud, or any type of liquid this
should be removed immediately using a dry, soft cloth
• Although the laser rangender is water and dust resistant, it is not waterproof and
should not be used in water
• Do not place the laser rangender on any unstable surface as a fall may damage it
Always store the rangender at room temperature and never keep it in a very hot or
very cold car. When putting away the rangender for the o-season, always remember
to rst remove the battery.
9. Troubleshooting
NO DISPLAY
1. Reinsert the battery
2. Be sure the polarity (+/-) of the battery is correct
3. Clean the battery contacts
4. Make sure the battery is not drained
5. Press the power button rmly

CAN NOT MEASURE
1. Be sure the device is powered on
2. Be sure that nothing is blocking either of the lenses
3. Make sure you are not trying to measure beyond the maximum measuring distance
4. The target should not be closer than 15 meters (16 yards)
FADING
1. Be sure that the unit and the case are completely dry
2. Place it under direct sunlight for 3-4 hours
WARNING
1. The performance of the laser range and speed nder monocular has something to
do with the target’s character, transmitting beams with the angle of the target’s surface
and the weather. In general, if the surface of the target is smooth, bright and large, the
beams are upright to the surface of the target and the weather is clear, the longer
distance can be measured, otherwise the shorter distance will be measured.
2. When“ ”(low battery indication) appears, please change the battery in time, or
the measuring errors will increase. If the device will not be used for a long time, please
take out the battery.
3. Never touch the surface of the lens so as to prevent the coating from damages.
4. This device has been accurately aligned and adjusted with highly precise equipment.
Never disassemble it at random.
5. If the external lens is stained, please clean it with the lens cloth. Don’t use other things
which may damage the lens coating.
6. Collision or high pressure should be avoided when carrying about or operating the
device.
7. Keep the device at a dry, cool and airy place so as to prevent the corrosion. Avoid re,
dust, direct sunshine and extreme change of temperature.
8. If the device meets with problems, send it to a professional department, and never
disassemble it by yourselves.
