INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
KEEP ALL PLASTIC AND WIRE PARTS AWAY FROM CHILDREN
WARNING: DO NOT TURN ON THE PROP UNTIL FULLY ASSEMBLED. STAY CLEAR OF THE PROP WHILE OPERATING.

Assembly:
Parts:
1. Unzip the back of Jack’s CLOTHES. Locate the BASE and insert the CENTER SNAP LOCK POLE into
the BASE. (Match A to A)
2. Lower the top half of the HEAD WITH CLOTHES AND BASE onto the SNAP LOCK POLE.
(Match B to B)
3. Open the hook and loop on the back of Jack’s shirt. Locate the arm snap-lock poles and insert
both poles into the module located beneath Jack’s head.
(Match C to C) and (Match D to D)
4. Place the BOWL at Jack’s feet and connect the wire running from the pants to the wire on
the BOWL. (Match G to G)
*Note: BOWL must be level and have a light source above the bowl to enhance
the motion sensor function.
5. Insert the SHOVEL HANDLE through the hole in his right hand. Slide the SHOVEL HANDLE
through the hole and insert the end into his left hand. Snap lock the SHOVEL HEAD onto the
SHOVEL HANDLE. (Match E to E) and (Match F to F)
6. Connect 6V2A ADAPTER (included) or insert 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included) into the
battery compartment located on the BASE.
7. Turn the switch to the ON position to operate in Sound and Motion activation mode. Any sound
or motion inside the candy bowl will activate the item. For MOTION ONLY, only motion inside
the candy bowl will activate the item. Turn item OFF when not in use. Adjust volume control
knob as needed.
8. If you are positioning the item in your own chair see ILLUSTRATION 8. If you are using the
supplied cardboard chair proceed to ILLUSTRATION 9. Close zipper on the back of Jack’s pants.

EXTERNAL SPEAKER IS NOT INCLUDED. MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.
1. Plug speaker cord into the jack labeled SPEAKER JACK
located on top of the BASE.
2. Use volume knob on external speaker to control volume levels.
OPTIONAL EXTERNAL SPEAKER SET UP
Insert the cable from optional footpad into the jack labeled
FOOTPAD on the BASE.
Place the switch in the FOOTPAD position to enable
FOOTPAD activation.
Step on the FOOTPAD to activate the scary sequence!

CHAIR BASE.
3. INSERT TABS OF SEAT
BACK INTO SEAT.

ASSEMBLE CARDBOARD CHAIR. LIFT SEAT AND SEAT BACK AND SECURE HOOK AND LOOP FASTENER UNDERNEATH THE SEAT.
GENTLY PUSH THE SEAT AND SEAT BACK INTO PLACE ON THE CHAIR BASE TO SECURE THE ITEM.
*BE SURE TO LEAVE ENOUGH SLACK IN THE HOOK AND LOOP FASTENER FOR THE SEAT TO FIT ON THE CHAIR BASE SECURELY.

Battery installation and removal should be performed by an adult.
Remove batteries when not in use.
Use only batteries recommended in the instructions.
Do not mix new and used batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, carbon-zinc, nickel-cadmium, rechargeable or
dierent types of batteries.
Be mindful to insert batteries with the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
Remove all exhausted batteries.
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the item before being charged.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
Always dispose of exhausted batteries properly.
Do NOT dispose of batteries in re, they may leak or explode.
