Instrucciones de seguridad
Condiciones generales de instala-
ción:
• Antes de manipular o conectar el equipo leer este
manual.
• No obstruir las ranuras de ventilación del equipo.
• Deje un espacio libre alrededor del aparato para
proporcionar una ventilación adecuada.
• No situar el equipo cerca de fuentes de calor o en
ambientes de humedad elevada.
• No situar el equipo donde pueda estar sometido
a fuertes vibraciones o sacudidas.
Operación segura del equipo:
• Si algún líquido u objeto se cayera dentro del
equipo, por favor recurra al servicio técnico es-
pecializado.
• No conectar el equipo hasta que todas las demás
conexiones del equipo hayan sido efectuadas.
Instrucciones para la conexión
óptica:
• Para la conexión óptica se utilizará un cable de -
bra monomodo con conector tipo SC/APC.
• Sacar la tapa protectora del conector óptico ubi-
cado en el interior del equipo, así como el capu-
chón del conector del cable monobra.
• Realizar la conexión del cable al equipo teniendo
cuidado de enfrentar las guías de ambos conec-
tores, presionando el conector totalmente hasta
el fondo.
Precauciones de conexionado:
• Tratar con sumo cuidado la punta desprotegida
de los conectores, pequeños arañazos, rascadu-
ras, impurezas y/o partículas de suciedad, aceites,
grasas, sudor, etc.. pueden degradar signicativa-
mente la señal.
• Para la limpieza de la punta de los conectores,
frotar (sin ejercer presión) con un paño de limpiar
lentes, que no suelte pelusa, humedecido con al-
cohol isopropílico sin aditivos. Antes de realizar la
conexión dejar secar totalmente el alcohol.
• Reservar las tapas de conectores y capuchones de
los cables para futuras operaciones de extracción/
protección de los mismos.
• Colocar siempre las tapas protectoras a los conec-
tores de los equipos que no estén conectados a
cables para evitar que el haz láser pueda alcanzar
los ojos.
• Evite en lo posible el encendido del transmisor sin
tener la  bra conectada a dicho transmisor.
Instrucciones para la conexión
óptica:
Aviso.-
Este producto emite un rayo de luz invisible láser.
Evite exponerse a la radiación láser. El uso de apa-
ratos de ayuda visual (por ejemplo binoculares, lu-
pas, etc.) puede aumentar el peligro a los ojos.

Precaución
- El uso de controles o ajustes, así como el uso de
procedimientos diferentes de los especicados
en éste manual puede provocar la exposición a la

estas instrucciones de operación ni bajo cualquier

Important safety instructions
General installation conditions:
• Before handling or connecting the equipment,
please read this manual.
• Do not obstruct the equipment’s ventilation
system.
• Pleaseallowaircirculationaroundtheequipment.
• Do not place the equipment near sources of heat
or in excessively moisture conditions.
• Do not place the equipment where it may be a
ected by strong vibrations or knocks.
How to use the equipment safely:
• If any liquid or object falls inside the equipment,
please contact a specialized technician.
• Do not connect the equipment to the mains until
all the other connections have been made.
Instructions for the optical
connection:
• For the optical connection, a single mode  bre
cable is used with an SC/APC-type connector.
• Remove the protective cover from the optical
connector on the front panel of the device, and
the cap on the connector of the single  bre cable.
• Connect the cable to the device, carefully slotting
the guides together for both connectors, pushing
the connector all the way in.
Precautionary measures with the
connection point:
• Take special care to avoid damaging the
unprotected ends of the connectors, as small
scratches, impurities and/or particles of dirt, oil,
grease, sweat etc. may signi cantly a ect the
quality of the signal.
• To clean the ends of the connectors, gently rub
with a lint-free lens cleaning cloth, dampened
using additive-free isopropyl alcohol. Make sure
the alcohol evaporates fully before connecting.
• Keep the connector covers and cable caps in a
safe place in case they are needed in the future.
• Always  t the covers on the connectors of devices
that are not connected to cables to prevent the
laser beam from damaging the eyes.
• Avoid turning on the transmitter without having
the  bre optic cable connected.

Avoid contact with laser radiation. The use of
equipment such as binoculars or
magnifying glasses may increase damage caused
to the eyes.

in any conditions that exceed the stipulated
atmospheric speci cations.
- This equipment is not user-serviceable. Should
you require assistance, contact our technical
service department.
- Never point the laser beam intentionally at people
or animals.

Wichtige sicherheitshinweise
Allgemeine Installationsanleitung:
• Lesen Sie die Sicherheitshinweise sorgfältig
durch, bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen.
• Decken Sie niemals die Lüftungsschlitze ab.
• Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung, indem Sie
einen genügenden Abstand um das Gerät herum
frei lassen.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in die Nähe von
Wärmequellen wie z. B. Heizkörpern oder
oenem Feuer, und vermeiden Sie Orte mit
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit.

Optische Verbindung:
• Sollten Fremdkörper oder Flüssigkeit in das Gerät

qualiziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen, bevor
Sie es wieder in Betrieb nehmen. Andernfalls
besteht Lebensgefahr durch einen Stromschlag.
• Beenden Sie alle Arbeite bevor Sie das Gerät
anschlieβen.
Optische Verbindung:
• Das optische Kabel muss eine Monomodefaser
(auch Singlemode-Faser oder Einmodenfaser
gennant) sein und der Stecker ein SC/APC (Angled
Physical Contac), dass heiβt, mit 8º Schli.
• Die Schutzkappen auf den optischen Stecker und
den optischen Kabel müssenn entfernt werden.
• Die Stecker müssen immer gerade in die Buchse
eingeschraubt werden und die Nase in der Nut
liegen.
Sicherheitsmaßnahmen bei den
Verbindungspunkt:
• Seien Sie besonders vorsichtig zur Vermeidung
von Schäden der ungeschützten Enden der
Verbinder, wie kleine Kratzer, Verunreinigungen
und/oder Partikel von Schmutz, Öl, Fett, Schweiß,
etc. kann eine erhebliche Beeinträchtigung der
Qualität des Signals verursachen.
• Um die Enden der Verbinder zu reinigen, reiben
Sie mit einem fusselfreien Reinigungstuch,
befeuchtet mit Isopropylalkohol Zusatzsto-frei.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Alkohol verdunstet
vollständig ist bevor Sie den Stecker anschließen.
• Halten Sie die Schutzkappen an einem sicheren
Ort, für den Fall, dass Sie sie in Zukunft noch mal
benötigt werden.
• Lassen Sie immer die Schutzkappen auf den nicht
angeschlossenen Kabeln und Gerätebuchsen,
um zu verhindern, dass der Laserstrahl die Augen
schädigen kann.
• Vermeiden Sie das Einschalten des Senders ohne
das ein optische Kabel angeschlossen ist.
Gefahrenzeichen:
Warnung vor dem Laserstrahl.-
Lichtstrahlung unsichtbar.
Bestrahlung der Augen durch direkte Strahlung
vermeiden. Sehhilfegeräte (Binokular, Lupe, usw.)
erhöhen das Risiko für die Augen.

- Die unsachgemäße Verwendung, Einstellungen
oder anderen Verfahren die in diesem Handbuch

pulación por terceros, catástrofes o cualquier causa ajena al control de Televés S.A.
Guarantee
Televés S.A. oers a two year guarantee, beginning from the date of purchase for countries
in the EU. For countries that are not part of the EU, the legal guarantee that is in force at the
time of purchase is applied. Keep the purchase invoice to determine this date.
During the guarantee period, Televés S.A. complies with the guarantee by repairing or substitut-
ing the faulty equipment.
The harm produced by improper usage, wear and tear, manipulation by a third party, catas-
trophes or any other cause beyond the control of Televés S.A. is not included in the guarantee.
Garantie
Die Garantiezeit für Televés S.A. Produkte beträgt zwei Jahre ab Kaufdatum, für alle Länder
der EG. In Ländern die nicht Mitglied der EG sind, gilt die legale Garantie die im Moment
der Erwerbs des Geräts angegeben ist. Bewahren Sie Ihre Kaufrechnung um dieses Datum
bestimmen zu können.
Abgedeckt sind alle Gerätedefekte, die auf fehlerhafte Produktion, einschliesslich Materi-
alfehler zurückzuführen sind. Während der Garantiezeit werden mangelhafte Geräte von
Televés S.A. repariert oder ersetzt.
Nicht abgedeckt sind alle Gerätedefekte, die durch äussere Einüsse entstehen, wie bei-
spielsweise bei unsachgemässer Handhabung, normale Abnutzungserscheinungen,
Beschädigung durch missbräuchliche Anwendung, Schäden infolge höherer Gewalt, Ele-
mentarereignisse sowie bei unsachgemässer Reparatur durch nichtautorisierte Werkstät-
ten, Naturgewalten oder andere äussere Einwirkungen auf die Televés S.A. keinen Einuss
nehmen kann.
