INSTRUCCIONES GENERALES DE SEGURIDAD
1. Lea detenidamente el Manual de Instrucciones antes de usar la tetera por primera vez.
2. Conserve el Manual de Instrucciones, certicado de garantía, factura de compra y si es posible, la caja
de cartón con el embalaje interior.
3. Esta tetera está diseñada exclusivamentepara uso privado y no para uso comercial.
4. Apague la tetera y retire el enchufe del toma de corriente cuando la misma no esté en uso. Cuando
desconecte el cable de alimentación de la tetera, sujete y hale del enchufe, no hale el cable.
5. Apague la tetera antes de limpiarla.
6. Mantenga la tetera fuera del alcance de los niños. No deje a los niños sin vigilancia si la tetera esté en
funcionamiento.
7. Este aparato no debe ser utilizado por personas (incluidos niños) con capacidades físicas, sensoriales
o mentales reducidas, o sin experiencia y conocimienlo, a menos que sean supervisadas por una persona
responsable de su seguridad. Los niños deben ser supervisados para asegurar que no jueguen con el aparato.
8. Pruebe la tetera y el cable con frecuencia para detectar cualquier daño, Compruebe que la tetera está
funcionando correctamente. Si hay daños de algún tipo, o si la tetera no funciona correctamente. deje de
utilizarla y desenchúfela inmediatamente,
9. No intenle reparar la tetera usted mismo. Sólo personal aulorizado y calicado puede reparar este
aparato.
10. Mantenga la tetera y el cable lejos del calor, la luz solar directa, la humedad y los bordes alados
11. Utiice únicamente accesorios originales. no conecte productos que sean incompatibles.
12. No utilice la tetera al aire libre.
13. La base y el exterior de la letera no son resistentes al agua, manténgalos secos en todo momento.
14. Bajo ninguna circunstancia se debe colocar la tetera en agua o ningún liquido ni permilir que entre en
contacto con ningún líquido. No toque la tetera con las manos mojadas o húmedas. Si la tetera se moja o
humedece, retire el enchufe del toma de corriente inmediatamente.

17. La tetera es sólo para ser utilizada con el soporte suministrado.
18. Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, debe ser reemplazado por el fabricante, su agenle de servicio
o personas calicadas para evitar cualquier peligro.

INSTRUCCIONES ESPECIALES PARA LA TETERA
• Utilice sólo agua fria para llenar el equipo.
• El nivel del agua debe estar enlre las marcas de máximo MAX y mínimo, MIN.
• Apague la telera antes de retirarla de la base.
• Asegúrese siempre de que la tapa esté bien cerrada.
• Nunca moje la base o el exterior de la tetera.
• La tetera debe usarse con su propia base.
Antes de usar la telera por primera vez, lIénela con agua fria y hierva dos veces sin ningún aditivo,
1. Llene la letera con agua. No llene en exceso. Use el indicador de nivel de agua,
2. Coloque la tetera en la base,
3. Conexión eléctrica
• Verique si el voltaje eléctrico que usted va a utilizar es igual al de la tetera. La información se encuenlra
en la etiqueta en la base de la tetera.
• Sólo conecte a una toma debidamente instalada de 11OV 60Hz.
4. Coloque el interruplor de encendido en la posición “1” (encendido). La luz de control en el indicador de
agua muestra que se está hirviendo el agua. (Ver gura 1 para ubicación del interruptor)
5. Después de hervir el agua, la tetera se apaga alllomáticamente.
Desconecte la tetera de la red eléctrica.
No abra la tapa al servir.
Si la tetera está demasiado llena, puede salpicar agua hirviendo.
Le tetera sólo debe ser utilizada con la base proporcionada.

6. Este aparato está diseñado para ser utilizado en aplicaciones domésticas ~ y similares, tales como:

Siempre desconecte el enchufe de la red eléctrica antes de limpiar la tetera.
Si es necesario, limpie el exterior de la tetera un paño ligeramente húmedo sin aditivos.
El ltro de calcio se puede quitar para limpiarlo.

3. This kettle is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use
4. Switch off the kettle and remove the plug from the socket when the kettle is not in use. When you
disconnect Ihe power cord of the kettle, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord/cable.
5. Switch off the kettle before cleaning it.
6. Keep the kettle out of the reach of children. Do not leave children unsupervised with the kettle.
7. This applance should not be used by persons (including children) wilh reduced physlcal. sensory or mental
capabillities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless Ihey are supervised by a person responsible ror Iheir
safety. Chilcren should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8. Test the kettle and the cord/cable regularly for damage. Check that the kettle is operating properly. If
there is damage of any kind or if the kettle is not operating properly, stop using it and unplug it immediately.
9. Do not attempt to repair the kettle yourself, only authorised and qualied personnel may repair this
appliance.
10. Keep fue kettle and cord/cable away from heat, direct sunlighl, moisture and sharp edges.
11. Use only original accessories. do not connect incompatible products.
12. Do not use the kettle outdoors.
13. The base and exterior of the kettle are not water-resistant, keep them dry at all times.
14. Under no circumstances must the kettle be placed in water or any liquid or come in contact with any
liquid. Do not handle the kettle with wet or moist hands. Should the kettle become wet or moist, remove the
main plug Irom the socket immedialely.
15. DO NOT touch the contents of the kettle.

SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE KETTLE
• Use only cold water when lling the devlce.
• The water level must be belween the MAX. and MIN. marks.
• Switch the kettle off before removing [t lrom the base.
• Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
• The base and exterior of the kettle must not become wet.
• Kettle body must match the kettle base.
• Before using the kettle for the rst time, ll the kettle with cold water and boil it twice without any additives.
1. Fill the kettle with water. Do not overll. Use the water leve! indicator.
2. Place the ketlle on the base.
3. Electrical connection
• Check whether the electrical voltage which you intend to use ls the same as that of the kettle. Details can
be found on the label on fue base of the kettle.
• Only connect the kettle to a properly installed 11OV 60Hz socket.
4. Switch the kettle lo position ‘1’ (ON). The control lamp on the water indicator shows that the water is being
boiled. (See gure 1 for switch placement)
5. Aer boiling, the kettle switches off automalically. Disconnect the
kettle from the main electricity supply.
Do not open the lid when pouring.
If the ketlle is overlled, boiling water may be ejected.
The kettle is only to be usad with the stand provided

6. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
• taff kitchen areas in shops, ofces and alner working environmenls
• farm hauses: by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;

Always remove the plug from the mains supply belore cleaning Ihe kettle.
The exterior of the kettle should be cleaned, il necessary, with a slightly damp cloth without additives.
