2. Intended purpose
Using our product will allow you to monitor indoor environments such as rooms and
buildings thanks to CO2, Total Volatile Organic Compounds Index (TVOC), Particulate
Matter (PM), temperature and relative humidity meters.
Please read and follow all instructions in this user manual. If you have any questions or
remarks regarding the product, please contact your commercial representative or our
technical support at [email protected].

If the device is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection

5.2. LED
The LED (Figure2) provides visual feedback of the system. Please refer to the Figure6 to
know the colour's meaning.

5.3. Button
The button (see Figure3) is usable with a needle or a very thin object.

5.4. Power plug
The device is powered by an USB type C cable as shown in Figure4.

6.Quick device set up
Here is the procedure to set up your device quickly. If you want more information,
please read the next sections.
1. Power on the device
Connect the Terabee Air Quality IN5 device to the USB-C power supply.
Once powered, the device is ready within 10 seconds.

The flashing blue LED indicates that the device is in config state and activates a
Wireless Access Point with the following format: TAQ-IN5_xx:xx:xx:xx:yy:yy
2. Connect to the Access Point
From a smartphone or a computer, connect to the Access Point using the following
credentials:
○SSID: TAQ-IN5_xx:xx:xx:xx:yy:yy (where x and y represent any hexadecimal
digit)
○Password: PW yyyy (with 2 spaces between PW and yyyy, yyyy is a 4
hexadecimal digit from the last part of the SSID above)
WiFi restrictions
Only 2.4GHz WiFi can be used.
3. Configure your WiFi communication
Once connected to the access point, open a Web browser and go to: https://192.168.4.1
to access the Configuration Web app.
Enter your in-home Wi-Fi network SSID and password.

4. You’re all set!
The device is configured and starts pushing your data to the network.
7.Device behavior
The device has 2 main states:
●Config state: the device is ready to be configured
●Nominal state: the device measures the air quality and send data to the
network

This behavior is detailed in Figure5 below.

7.1. Config state
At the first power on, the device is blocked in the config state waiting for WiFi
parameters to connect to the Internet. The LED flashes in blue in this state.
In this state, the device activates a WiFi access point and provides a Web app to
configure (see 8.1. Configuration Web app section) in order to connect the device to a
smartphone or computer and configure it.
To force the config state when the product has already been configured, you need to do
a short press on the button (press the button between 0 and 2 seconds). See 5.3. Button
section.
7.2. Nominal state
As soon as the WiFi connection is set, the device goes into nominal state. The device
stays in this state until you press the button or any internal error occurs.
In this state, the device:
●pushes data to the network every 2 minutes,
●activates a display Web app (see 8.2. Air Quality displaying Web app section)
allowing you to visualize air quality measurements.
