Section 1. Installation
1.1. Appliance Dimensions
The following dimensions are supplied for guidance purposes
only. You should accurately measure your appliance and
cabinetry before commencing installation.
Your hob is supplied with a fixing kit and seal to ensure that
the hob is securely fitted/sealed to the work surface.

This device sh uld be installed by auth rised and expert pers ns in acc rdance
with the instructi ns f the manufacturer and als in acc rdance with the
relevant safety standards.
Bef re the first use, rem ve all f the packaging and pr tective films ver the
device.
The electrical c nditi ns that are required t be pr vided f r the pr duct are
written n the capacity label. This device sh uld be installed in acc rdance with
the pr visi ns and instructi ns that have been pr vided and sh uld nly be used
in very well ventilated places. Please read this instructi ns manual bef re the
installati n and use f the pr duct.

-This appliance is n t intended f r use by pers ns (including children) with
reduced physical, sens ry r mental capabilities, r lack f experience and

use f the appliance by a pers n resp nsible f r their safety.
-Children sh uld be supervised t ensure that they d n t play with the
appliance.
Warning
: This device is required to be earthed. Please check that all of
the control buttons are in the OFF (closed) position after the completion of
cooking.
-Y ur c ker must be used with an earthed utlet, since the inlet f y ur ven is
an earthed inlet. C ntr l if the electric supply is earthed r n t. If it was n t
earthed, get it earthed by an electric technician. Our firm will n t take any
resp nsibility in case that it is used with ut gr unding.
-For Mono-phase: The fuse current value in y ur electric installati n sh uld be
at least 16 A. A supply c rd f 3 x 1,5 mm2 is supplied with y ur ven.

The Sa ety o Children :
-This device had been designed t be perated by adults. D n t all w the
children near the device and d n t all w the children t play with the
device.
- While in use, the device is g ing t heat up. The children sh uld n t be
all wed near the device until it c ls d wn.
- The children may cause injuries t themselves while rem ving utensils r
dishes fr m the device.
Warning : Accessible parts may bec me h t during use. Y ung children sh uld
be kept away.
Attention : The hazard f burn injuries is extremely high f r small children
unaware f the threat. The surfaces f the c ker are h t when in use. These may
cause burn injuries. F r such reas ns, the small children are required t be kept away
fr m the c ker.

take care while using the dishes and the utensils.
Warning : If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid
the possibility of electric shock, for hob surfaces of glass-ceramic or similar
material which protect live parts
When in use :
- Bef re using the device f r the first time, wipe away the pr tective
materials, wipe the racks and the trays f the ven in h t s apy water and
wash the access ries; and wipe away the pr tective grease layer, if any.
- D n t use the device in case it is in c ntact with water. D n t attempt t
use the device with wet hands.
- Please make sure that the butt ns are in the OFF (cl sed) p siti n when n t
in use.
- D n t keep the easily flammable materials such as gl ves, dust cl ths,
etc ... n the c ker surface.
- D n t use the heaters f the device f r the purp ses f heating the r m; d
n t keep empty utensils n the heaters that are in ON p siti n.
The uter surfaces f the c ker c uld be heated up during the r utine use f the
device.
- Keep the electric c rd f y ur c ker away fr m the h t z nes and d
n t all w the c rds t be in c ntact with the c ker. Keep the c rds
away fr m sharp edges and h t surfaces.

- Use heat pr tective gl ves while h lding the utensils placed n the
c ker.
- When b iling r frying things, the very h t dr ps f margarine r il
that have spilt n the surface f the ven, may be easily flammable and
c uld cause fire hazards. Please keep frying under y ur c ntr l.
- The unbalanced r def rmed utensils and dishes c uld cause injuries
due t sliding, spilling r their inefficient use, c uld cause accident, s
such utensils sh uld n t be used in the heater surfaces.
- F d that g es bad easily, plastic materials and aer s ls c uld be
effected fr m heat. F r this reas n, such materials sh uld n t be kept n
r ar und the device.

The Servicing :
- In case the c nnecti n cables f the devices that are kept ar und this
device get in c ntact with the h t z nes f the c ker, their cables may
get damaged and a sh rt circuit may ccur. F r this reas n, the cables f
the ther devices sh uld be kept at a certain safety distance fr m the
ven. When the current cable is damaged, please apply t the cl sest
auth rised technical service and ask f r the cable t be replaced with a
new ne.
- The pr cedures that have been undertaken n the device and the repair
w rk that had been made that are n t in c mpliance with the technical
pr t c ls, c uld cause electric sh cks and sh rt circuits. Please refrain
fr m such pr cedures that c uld damage y ur device and that c uld
cause such pers nal injuries.
- The repair and the maintenance f this device sh uld nly be
undertaken by the engineer f the auth rised technical service; and the
parts that are used sh uld be riginal and certified spare parts.
-When the supply cable f the device is damaged, replace it with the
same cable t be supplied by the auth rised technical service f
TERMİKEL.

SECTION 3 : The Installation o The Product :
The l cati n where the c ker is t be placed sh uld be in the appr priate
dimensi ns and in the appr priate f rm.
After the pr duct is cleared fr m its packaging materials, make sure that the
c ker secti n r any f the ther equipment had n t been damaged. In case y u
have any d ubts that the pr duct might be damaged, please get in t uch with the
technical pers nnel f the auth rised service immediately and d n t use the
pr duct.
The c ker is g ing t be fixed t the kitchen c unter as sh wn in Figure 3. The
thickness f the surface where y u will be replacing y ur built-in c ker sh uld
n t be m re than 20 mms.

3. b. The electric c nnecti n f the c ker :
Bef re making the electric c nnecti n f the c ker, please make sure that y u
have pr vided the circumstances that have been menti ned bel w :
•The current transmissi n capacity f the system and the s cket sh uld
be appr priate f r the maximum p wer that the c ker c uld utilise.
•The v ltage value that has been pr vided in the capacity sticker and the
supply v ltage sh uld be the same value.
•D n t use adapters, sh rt cables r extensi ns f r the said c nnecti n.
These may cause ver heating.
•The s cket sh uld have a gr unding terminal.
The t tal p wer f the pr duct is 000 Watts.
The pr duct has been manufactured t be perated with 1AC9 +]
The electric c nnecti n figures are sh wn in Figure 4. These figure are als
sh wn at the b tt m part f the pr duct. The electric chart f the pr duct had
been pr vided in Secti n 6.
Using the said chart, c nnect the s ckets t the female s ckets n the built-in
ven making sure that c l urs w uld match.

The electrical c nnecti n f the pr duct is “Y” type and l cal instructi ns sh uld be
exactly bserved.
If the supply c rd is damaged,it must be replaced by the manufacturer r its service
agent r similary qualified pers ns in rder t av id a hazard
The appliance is designed f r using with plug r fixed c nnecti n t the mains. There is t install
an all p le disc nnect r inside the supply circuit with a c ntact penning f at least 3mm ( rated
A, delay functi ning type ).
Wiring f the appliance must be perf rmed by the Auth rized Service.[PPsupply cable
must be used.
Please be sure that the v ltage and electrical c nnecti n c nditi ns f y ur h use
c nf rm t y ur appliance bef re installing the appliance; and c nnect y ur built-in
c ker t the p wer supply with the c rd at the rear part f the appliance. Y ur h use
and electric inlet must be earthed and c nf rm t the CE directives.
In case that an installati n vi lating the instructi ns ab ve is perf rmed, the
manufacturer c mpany shall take n resp nsibility.
The heat pr tecti n class is “Y”.
Warning : The cables sh uld n t be all wed t c ntact the secti ns that w uld
cause the heat t increase n the same.
All f the maintenance and repair w rks sh uld be undertaken by the auth rised
technical service pers nnel r the pers nnel wh had been auth rised by the technical
service.
Warning : In all kinds f maintenance w rks in respect f the pr duct, please
disc nnect all f the electric c nnecti ns.
F r a new c nnecti n, f ll w the c nnecti n diagrams carefully.
The earth c nnecti n sh uld be made t the terminal which is sh wn with (earth symb l
shall be used) in the terminal b x.

Section 3. Operating The Appliance
Each ceram ic heat zone is operated by a control knob (see
diagram below ). Various heat levels can be achieved by
selecting the settings ‘1’ to ‘6’.
Setting ‘0’ is O FF. S etting ‘1’ is LO W and setting ‘6’ is H IG H .
Use pans that have a thick, flat solid base with the same (or slightly
larger) diameter than the heating zone being used
.

The neon red warning lights operate whilst a heat zone is in use or
until it has cooled down after use.

F r the first time use, perate y ur electric c ker f r 5 minutes in p siti n 3 with ut placing a
utensil n it. This is g ing t pr vide f r the hardening f the heat resistant material n the
c ker.
In rder t get the maximum efficiency ut f the heaters, please pay attenti n t the sizes f the
utensils that are g ing t be placed n the heaters and the utensil t be flat base ne.

Utensils with barbed bases sh uld n t be used since they may scratch the glass surface.
The bases f the c king utensils sh uld be clean and dry bef re using n the c ker.
The base f the c king utensil sh uld be a bit c ncave while c ld. When it is heated in this
manner due t a little bir f expansi n, the c ntact with the surface f the c ker w uld have
been increased and the maximum am unt f heat transfer is thereby pr vided fr m the c ker t
the utensil. F r the enamel utensil bases the best thickness is 2 t 3 mms; h wever the same
measurement is 4 t 6 mms at its best f r stainless steel utensils with sandwich type bases.
T decide n whether the base f the utensil is c rrect r n t; a very simple test c uld be
perf rmed (when it is c ld). Keep the base f the utensil n a flat table and cut d wn s me paper
shreds and pass them underneath the utensil. (f r an enamel utensil, 5 t 10 paper shreds; and f r
a stainless steel utensil, 2 t 5 paper shreds are g ing t be appr priate).

SECTION 5 : Cleaning and Maintenance :
In rder t be able t use the c ker in the best c nsiti ns p ssible; please clean the c ker after
every time y u c k.
Make sure that y u have cut the electric c nnecti n bef re y u start cleaning the c ker. Wait f r
the c ker t c l d wn bef re starting t clean.
D n t rem ve the butt ns fr m their l cati ns.
Warning: The m ment y u see any kind f fractures n the surface f the h t glass (seran) surface;
cut d wn the supply immediately. D n t use the pr duct under such circumstances. C ntact the
auth rised technical service immediately.
Wanrning: A steam cleaner n t be used
Rem ve all f the f d and il wastes with a glass scrubber with ut scratching the surface. As a
glass cleaner, s ft raz r nuzzle r the fixed raz r c uld be selected preferably.
While the c ker is still h t t t uch, clean the c ker with the appr priate liquid cleaner and paper
t wels.
After this, wipe with a wet piece f cl th and dry with a clean and dry cl th.
In case sugar r f d with a high rate f sugar is spilled ver nt the c ker, it sh uld be cleaned
in the same manner.
Scrubbing sp nges, r c rr ding chemical detergents sh uld n t be used under any circumstances
including the ven spreys and stain rem vers.

Remove all packaging materials and any protective film
applied to the appliance surfaces.

W ipe the glass surface with a soft dam p cloth.
∞This appliance must be ‘hard wired’ to a separate 30amp
cooker circuit with an isolation switch positioned above the
work surface. Check the rating plate for further details.
∞Do not connect this appliance to a standard 13amp
socket outlet!
∞During initial use you may notice a ‘newness’ or ‘hot’ smell
coming from the appliance - this is quite normal.

Never allow children to play w ith this appliance or operate the
appliance unsupervised.
