Front Deck_______________________________________________________________________
NOTE: The left (B) and center (C) baffles are shown
exploded for clarity. Do not remove the baffles from the
front deck.
1. Remove hardware (D, E and F) from the four locations
shown. Hardware will be reused with the mulching
baffles.
2. Loosely assemble the center mulching baffle (Item 3) to
the deck using hardware (D).
3. Loosely assemble the center mulching baffle (Item 3) to
the left deck baffle (B) using one M8-1.25 x 20 mm hex
head screw (Item 7), two flat washers (Item 5) and
nylon insert nut (Item 6).
4. Loosely assemble the right mulching baffle (Item 9) to
the deck using hardware (E).
5. Loosely assemble the right mulching baffle (Item 9) to
the center mulching baffle (Item 3) using one M8-1.25 x
20 mm hex head screw (Item 7), two flat washers (Item
5) and nylon insert nut (Item 6).
6. Insert one M8-1.25 x 25 mm hex head screw (Item 4),
through flat washer (Item 5), right mulching baffle (Item
9), center deck baffle (C) and center mulching baffle
(Item 3). Loosely assemble one flat washer (Item 5) and
nylon insert nut (Item 6).
7. Insert two M8-1.25 x 20 mm hex head screws (Item 7),
through flat washers (Item 5), right mulching baffle
(Item 9), and right side of deck. Loosely assemble flat
washers (Item 5) and nylon insert nuts (Item 6).
8. Loosely assemble left mulching baffle (Item 8) to the
deck using hardware (F).
9. Loosely assemble left mulching baffle (Item 8) to the
center mulching baffle (Item 3) using one M8-1.25 x 20
mm hex head screw (Item 7), two flat washers (Item 5)
and nylon insert nut (Item 6).
10.Insert two M8-1.25 x 20 mm hex head screws (Item 7),
through flat washers (Item 5), left mulching baffle (Item
8), and left side of deck. Loosely assemble flat washers
(Item 5) and nylon insert nuts (Item 6).
11.Adjust the position of the mulching baffles as required to
obtain equal clearance for full rotation of the blades.
Securely tighten all hardware.
