With the purchase of this mantle in combination with the gas fire we wish you lots of heating pleasure.
Before placing the mantle please read the instructions of your gas fire carefully before installing and using
the combination. Keep both instructions carefully. In case of malfunction always specify type and serial num-
ber can be found on the device / mantle. Your sales receipt is your warranty.
1.0 General
The appliance is supplied in two parts uk, the Trimline 38 panorama fireplace and Trimline 38 FS Pano mantle. As
for the gas equipment connection see the requirements associated with the fireplace.
On delivery you should immediately check the unit. / mantle for any transport damage
Warning.
Gas Fires are hot when they are in operation. After installing the unit, the casing and the glass surface considered as
active zone.
Caution! The glass surface can become very hot! accordingly, caution should be exercised and for example children
and dependents away from burning fires. Gas fires must not be placed (for example flammable liquids such as cur-
tains or nylon clothing etc.) at or near flammable materials
Ensure at all times that children and other people who are not aware of the operation of a gas fire, are only in the
vicinity of the appliance under supervision.
Use a fire guard against burns and to protect children and persons named above.
The device must not be in use ore operated without the glass is placed.

3.0 Placement requirements.
* Before placing the mantle, you must first mount the Control box on the underside of the gas fire unit
* Place the gas fire on the back side so that the bottom is easily accessible.
* Attach the two provided strips at the Control box. (See Figure A)
* Drill four holes in the tubes under the unit as shown and attach the Control box.
* The Control box is mounted in this situation without a door.
* Adjust the height of 4 legs as indicated. (see Figure B)

4.0 Mounting the mantle
* Position the unit before the wall (or indipendent situation at the desired position).
* The unit must always be placed in front of a non-flammable wall (also no wallpaper or similar material).
* The mantle may be placed adjacent to the wall. If desired, the device can also be placed at a short distance
from the wall.
* To prevent disturbing views at the back of the unit, up to 5 cm space between the wall and mantle wil be re-
commended.
* After you have installed and checked the gas fire according to the installation instructions of the gas fire and at
Page 3 (“3.0 Placement requirements”) named activities to connect the Control box then you can place the
mantle around the device
* Lift the Mantel (1) and Plinth (2) from its packaging and check it for damage and or defects.
* Remove the cover plate (4) on the back of the mantle (1). Unscrew the six screws.
* Above the mantle is there is a cover plate (3) which can be removed by gently sliding it backwards until it
stops then upwards to remove it from the mantle.
* Before placing the mantle there has be also connected the concentric discharge pipe (not supplied) .
Note: If the unit is placed in front of a wall, this wall must be non-combustible.

* Then place the plinth (2) around the adjustable legs back until it stops.

* Slide Mantle cautious about the finishing edge of the fireplace.
* Place the cover (3) back on top of the mantle.
Note:
When the unit is completely independent set then also the cover (4) can be placed.
Do not place the cover (4) if the device is placed against or in small distance from the wall.
maintenance:
* If there should be periodic maintenance on the gas fire unit, the mantle can be taken away easily.
