THIS HELICOPTER USES A LITHIUM POLYMER (Li-Po) BATTERY AND MUST BE USED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THIS MANUAL TO PREVENT SERIOUS ACCIDENTS.
It is very important that you charge the Li-Po Batteries fully before first use, as ifthis is not done you may
damage the battery and result in the helicopter not being able to charge properly. In order to increase its
life and prevent charging problems you should:
Allow the battery to cool-down (5 minutes after each flight) before you attempt to charge it. Allow the
battery to cool-down (5 minutes after each charge) before you attempt to fly it.
When flying, as soon as you think the helicopter starts to lose a bit of power, stop using it and after letting
!t cool down, start the charging process. If you fly it until the battery is totally discharged (can also happen
1f you leave the helicopter ON after flying it), you can damage the battery and cause charging problems.
If the person flying the helicopter has not flow remote control helicopters before, they should just raise the
helicopter about 50cm off the ground, and then immediately settle it down again. This should be done
several times in order to get used to the controllers. This will prevent the helicopter being crash damaged,
as the retailer cannot offer a refund or replacement if the helicopter has been crash damaged.
If you start to loose control of the helicopter while flying, most people instinct is~to try to keep powering the
helicopter to regain control, but this usually results in crash damage occurring. The best thing to do is to
release all controls so the helicopters blades stop spinning. The helicopter just falling to the floor will rarely
cause damage, but crashes with the blades turning can damage it a lot.
Fly only in safe areas, well away from people or pets. As a pilot you are responsible for your actions.
If you do damage the blades, you can replace them with the included spares, or buy a new spares pack
online.

2. IMPORTANT SAFETY ISSUES
It is your duty to fly this helicopter safely and obey this instruction manual at all times.
Charging of the Li-Po Polymer batteries must be done only under supervision, and out of reach of children.
Batteries should never be left charging unattended. For complete safety, only charge Li-Po batteries in an
area containing no flammable objects. Only use the supplied charging accessories, and never any
independently purchased as this can result in fire.
Never leave batteries to charge overnight, as this could result in fire. Batteries are fully charged in
approximately
30 minutes.
By using this product, you are agreeing to accept the risks associated with Li-Po batteries. Neither the
manufacturer nor the retailer can be held responsible for any improper use of this product. All guidelines
must be obeyed. ·
Never short, puncture, reverse polarity, or leave batteries near a heat source. Always handle Li-Po
batteries with
care and never crush or disassemble them. Never attempt to charge or use a damaged
battery no matter how minor the damage.
If the Li-Po battery becomes excessively hot after use or charging, stop using it immediately. Old Li-Po
batteries
should never be disposed of with normal rubbish. In accordance with raws in your local country,
this
whole item must not be disposed of with normal rubbish.
After flying, unplug the helicopter battery before turning off the controller.
After charging, always unplug the charge cradle from the power source.
Only use AA alkaline batteries of the same type in the controller, and never rechargeable ones.
After flying, batteries should be taken out of the helicopter and controller, and stored well out of reach of
children.
Never fly the helicopter in areas close to other people or pets, or in areas where there are overhead power
lines. Fly in a flat, obstacle free location. This helicopter is recommended for indoor or outdoor flying (in
fairly calm conditions),
but it should never be flown in areas exposed to moisture, as this can cause
malfunctions and crashes.
Never store the helicopter or accessories in areas of extreme temperatures, either hot or cold. They should
be stored
at room temperature.
This helicopter is not designed for total beginners. It is perfect for those who have mastered 3 channel mini
helicopters and are looking
to progress to other models. For less experience users they should fly while in
the company of experienced pilots.
Small Parts!
Not for children under 14 years old. Also keep packaging away from small children
Never touch the helicopter or any accessories if you have wet hands. Never touch the moving propellers.

The charge cradle can be powered either by the cable from the controller,
or via the USB port on a computer
(or mains plug with a USB adapter). Only use the supplied charging accessories, and never any
independently purchased.
There are 2 battery slots, so batteries can be charged individually or at the same time.
Charging'takes about 30 minutes per battery, and the charge indicator light will turn from RED to OFF when
the charging process is complete.
Each charge provides
5~6 minutes flight time, but as you have 2 batteries your flying time can be increased
'lative to charge cycles.

8. FLIGHT ENVIRONMENT
9. PREPARING FOR FLIGHT
This helicopter is recommended for
indoor
or outdoorflying (in fairly calm
conditions). When you first fly the
helicopter, please ensure that you
just
raise the helicopter 50 em off the
ground and then immediately settle it
down again. This will enable you to
master the controls without crashing it.
Only small adjustments are needed to
control your helicopter.
You must ensure you have mastered
all control elements before moving to
the next level. Crash damage will
not
be rectified by the retailer, and it is thE!.
responsibility of the pilot not to crash 1·
into any objects.
Select a large open space for flying,
with limited objects that can be crashed
into. Never fly to close to other people
or pets or near overhead power lines.

The controller should be ON before slotting the battery into the helicopter, but ensure throttle stick is kept
at the lowest level. After ensuring the battery is fully charged, place the helicopter on a level surface, and
slot the battery pack into the helicopter as shown in the diagram.
Avoid moving the helicopter, and keep it on the flat level surface. The red LED light on the helicopter will
blink, but after 3w5 seconds it will become solid, indicating the helicopter and controller have been paired.
PLEASE NOTE: If you need to rebind the helicopterwith the controller:
1. Turn Off Controller
2. Slot battery into helicopter
3. Keeping throttle lever down, turn on Controller
4. After a few seconds the red LED light on the helicopter will stop blinking,
indicating binding success.

-10. CONTROL METHODS
IMPORTANT: This is an advanced helicopter that has 4 channels. It is essential that you master each of the
4 channels independently before you try and use them all together. Failure to
do this may result in crash
damage and injury. As a pilot you are responsible for your actions.

You should masterthe controls individually in this order:
1. Throttle I Elevation: Using the left stick only, gently move it upwards (do not move it left/right) until the
helicopter is
SOcm offthe ground. Then by lowering the left stick, gently settle the helicopter down again.
This should be done many times until totally mastered.
2. Throttle With Banking Left/Right: Raise the helicopter 50cm off the ground (as part 1 ), but this time when
the helicopter is stable, move the right stick gently to the left and then to the right. The helicopterwill drift
a little to the left and right accordingly.
Now settle it down again. This should be done many times until
totally mastered.
3. Throttle With Turning Left/Right: Raise the helicopter 50cm o"ff the ground (as part 1), but this time when
the helicopter is stable, move the left stick gently to the left and then to the right. The helicopter will rotate
to the left and right accordingly.
Now settle it down again. This should be done many times until totally
mastered.
4. Throttle With Moving Forwards/Backwards: Raise the helicopter 50cm off the ground (as part 1 ), but this
time when the helicopter is stable, move the right stick gently up and then down.
The helicopter will move
forwards and backwards accordingly.
Now settle it down again. This should be done many times until
totally mastered.
After mastering all these 4 independent movements and repeating this list
many times, you will then be
ready to start using the control methods together.
If you attempt to use all control methods togetherwithout
mastering them individually, you will risk crashing the helicopter, the cost
of which is the responsibility of the
pilot and
not the retailer.
11. CONTROL ADJUSTMENTS
When all controls are neutral and you are hovering it, if the helicopter still has a tendency to move in any of
the 8 possible directions, then you can adjust the trim to make it totally stable. Please see the diagram of
the controller in this manual that illustrates the 4 trim sliders.
To adjust any of the trims, you should move the trim slider in the opposite direction to the incorrect
movement that the helicopter is doing.
For example, if the helicopter is spinning to the left then you should
gently move the left/right spin trim button to the right.
Or if the helicopter is moving forwards when not
directed to, you should move the forwards/backwards trim button down until the issue is corrected.

12. TROUBLESHOOTING/ PROBLEM SOLVING
Q. The red LED light on the helicopter continues to flash, and does not become solid, so the helicopter
cannot be controlled.
A. Rebind the helicopter as
per instructions
Q. No red LED light on the helicopter comes on after inserting battery.
A. Take
out and re slot in the battery, and ensure it is fully charged
Q. Helicopter continues to move despite trim adjustments.
A. Check for blade
damage and also ensure the helicopter is on a level surface and stationary at start
up.
Q. Blades do not turn despite increased throttle.
·: A. Use a new battery or recharge current one. Check controller is on and replace controller batteries if
depleted.
Q. Blades do not turn, even though helicopter can be controlled from the controller.
A.
If throttle trim is too high, safety mechanism will disable throttle. Also Throttle must be all the way
down during power up.
Q. Blades continue to spin after landing.
A. Check throttle trim
has not been accidentally moved.
Q. Helicopter is vibrating too much.
A. Check for blade damage, bent main shaft,
or blade grips may be over tightened so loosen them.
