Using the product
1. To power the unit, you can insert a 9V battery or connect a 9V DC
adapter to the 9V socket on the front of the unit (centre negative
). The device is immediately ready for use.
2. Connect an instrument to the INPUT jack using a 1/4" jack cable and
turn the GAIN knob to the left stop.
3. Play the instrument, turn the GAIN control clockwise and observe
the CLIP LED. When the colour changes from green to red, the input
is overloaded and distortion occurs. Then turn the GAIN control
counter-clockwise until the LED lights up green only.
4. To adjust the volume, turn the VOLUME knob to the desired position.
5. Use BASS and TREBLE knobs to adjust the desired sound. When you
set the SHAPE switch to the ON position, the mids will be attenuated
and the treble and bass will be boosted.
6. To check the correct tuning of the instrument, you can connect a
tuner to the TUNER output.
7. To accompany your playing, you can connect a device with line level
output to the LINE IN jack. The signal is present at all outputs of the
device.
8. To use the Chorus eect, press the CHORUS switch, use the SPEED
knob to adjust the desired speed, and the DEPTH knob to adjust the
desired eect depth. The corresponding LED is lit when the eect is
activated.
9. To use the Reverb eect, press the REVERB switch, use the DWELL knob
to set the desired decay time, and use the REVERB control to adjust
the desired reverb ratio. The corresponding LED is lit when the eect is
activated.
10. You can connect headphones to the PHONES output.
11. You can connect the input of an amplier to the OUTPUT jack. Before
doing so, turn the VOLUME knob to the left stop to avoid loud noise
when connecting.
12. After playing, disconnect a used 9V power adapter from the mains
power supply.
Possible hearing damage
Making music for a prolonged period and at high volume can
cause hearing damage. Avoid playing the unit at full volume,
especially when using headphones.
