6 Operating
Connect your instrument to the input socket [INPUT] to adapt the values). If desired, connect
the [OUTPUT] to your amplifier or other effects units.
You can connect additional 9 V devices with the supplied cables to the supply sockets on the
sides of the device. Observe the maximum load capacity of the connections and the polarity
(negative pole inside) specified above the supply sockets. If one of the connected devices
exceeds the maximum load capacity of the relevant connection, it will be shut sown. Then dis-
connect this unit from its power supply and reconnect it. If a shutdown occurs frequently,
check the device in question for a defect. Using the supplied cables to reverse the polarity, you
can also connect devices with reversed pin configuration of the supply socket.
Connect the included power supply to the [DC IN 12V] input at the front of the device and put
the mains plug into a wall outlet. The LED above the display lights up.
Press the foot switch to turn the unit into tuning mode. The [OUTPUT] is then muted. Pick a
string and slightly adjust the tuning until the blue LED in the middle of the display lights up.
Then the string is tuned correctly.
When the instrument's tuning is finished, press the foot switch and thereby the device to True
Bypass mode, so the unaffected signal is fed to connected devices such as amplifiers or other
effects units. The display turns off then.
