MUST USE THIS TIPPING RESTRAINT TO ATTACH THIS UNIT TO THE WALL,
TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS AND/OR INJURIES.
THIS HARDWARE MUST BE PROPERLY INSTALLED (FOLLOW ALL
DIRECTIONS IN ORDER ON THIS INSTRUCTIONS), TO PROVIDE PROTECTION
AGAINST THE UNEXPECTED TIPPING OF FURNITURE DUE TO IMPROPER USE.
THIS PRODUCT IS ONLY A DETERRENT. IT IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR
PROPER ADULT SUPERVISION. USE OF TIP-OVER RESTRAINTS MAY ONLY
REDUCE, BUT NOT ELIMINATE, THE RISK OF TIP-OVER.

To reduce the risk of furniture tipover:
 ALWAYS install tipover restraint provided.
 NEVER put a TV on this product.
 NEVER allow children to stand, climb or han
on drawers, doors, or shelves.
 NEVER open more than one drawer at a time.
 Place heaviest items in the lowest drawers.
Use of tip-over restraints may only reduce,
but not eliminate, the risk of tip-over.

DRAWER INSTALLATION
If y u need t rem ve the drawers with ball bearing slides fr m the unit, please f ll w the steps
bel w t prevent any damage t the slides r the drawers.
1. If y u need t rem ve the drawer, please pull the drawer all the way ut, then simultane usly
pushes the plastic release lever f the ball bearing slide up n ne side and d wn n the ther
side, and then pull the drawer c mpletely ut.
2. T place the drawer back, simply push the ball bearing cart all the way t the end f the slides
(in b th sides) and align the slide runners n the drawer with the slide tracks n the unit and
push it carefully inside until it st ps.
NOTE: If the drawer d es n t g in sm thly, please take it ut and repeat the step.

1. Unpack the unit and c nfirm that y u have all the hardware and required parts.
2. The file c mes with the handle pre-assembled t the inside f utility drawer. T rem ve the handle,
unscrew the b lts l cated n the fr nt f the drawer. Re-install the handle t the fr nt f the utility
drawer with the same b lts.
3. P siti n the Guide Rails (B) nt the drawer sides with the high side facing inward.
4. H k f ur Guide Bl cks (C) nt the high edge f Guide Rails (B).
N w set the File Hangers (D) int the
sl t f Guide Bl cks (C). Slide the file hangers f rward and backward t keep hanging files rganized.

5. P siti n the unit at the desired l cati n against a wall. If necessary, adjust the fl r levelers at the
b tt m f the legs t level the unit.
6. N w, f ll w the instructi ns printed n the plastic bag c ntaining the Tipping Restraint Hardware t
attach the tip- ver restraints t the unit and the wall.
NOTE: The tipping restraint hardware included is f r w den stud wall c nstructi n. It must be
attached t a wall stud. Depending up n y ur wall c nstructi n, different anch r hardware maybe
required. Please c ntact y ur l cal hardware st re f r assistance. Y ung children can be seri usly
injured by tipping furniture. Y u must install the tipping restraint hardware with the unit t prevent the
unit fr m tipping, causing any accidents r damage. The tipping restraints are intended nly as a
deterrent, they are n t a substitute f r pr per adult supervisi n. The tipping restraints are n t
earthquake restraints. If y u wish t add the extra security f earthquake restraints, they must be
purchased and installed separately.

Care and Maintenance
 Use a s ft, clean cl th that will n t scratch the surface when dusting.
 Gently rub the surface with a s ft dry cl th, s ft damp cl th, r s ft damp cl th with neutral detergent, and
then dry it well.
 Str ng Alkaline detergents r acidic detergents are n t rec mmended t use.
 Sp nges c ntaining abrasive agents r fibers are n t rec mmended t use.
 Use f furniture p lish is n t necessary. Sh uld y u ch se t use p lish, test first in an inc nspicu us area.
 Using s lvents f any kind n y ur furniture may damage y ur furniture’s finish.
 Never use water t clean y ur furniture as it may cause damage t the finish.
 Always use c asters under beverage glasses and fl werp ts.
 Liquid spills sh uld be rem ved immediately. Using a s ft, clean cl th, bl t the spill gently. Av id rubbing.
 Always use pr tective pads under h t dishes and plates. Heat can cause chemical changes that may create
sp tting within the furniture finish.
 In the event that y ur furniture is stained r therwise damaged during use, we rec mmend that y u call a
pr fessi nal t repair y ur furniture.
 Check b lts/screws peri dically and tighten them if necessary.

It is best t keep y ur furniture in a climate-c ntr lled envir nment. Extreme temperature and humidity
changes can cause fading, warping, shrinking and splitting f w d. It is advised t keep furniture away fr m
direct sunlight as sun may damage the finish.
