I. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing THRACIAN Mineral Power pulse induction
metal detector. This device is specially developed for searching in depth
on highly mineralized environments.
It's made from high quality materials, uses the latest technologies
and electronic components.
The electronic part of this detector has been
developed by one of the best engineers in the industry from Easyrad.
PCB's are inserted into a deluxe aluminiumbox which
minimize Electromagnetic interference (EMI) to a minimum level.
Working with the 83x54 cm frame will let you find targets on places that
you have searched many times before.
This manual is designed to help both beginner and experts
to get the best performance out of TMP.

II. Parts
The standard package contains:
• metal detector
• carrying case , belt, mounng plate for fixing and
fixing bolts
• Cable and PVC frame with straps.
Size of the frame is 83x54cm
• Headphones (wired or wireless)
• Smart charger

Telescopic sha opon:
• metal detector
• carrying case , belt, mounng plate for fixing and fixing bolts
• Telescopic rod and DD 11 "search coil made from Detech
• Headphones (wired or wireless)
• Smart charger

III.Assembling
Standard package:
1.Add the shorter belt to the carrying case.
2. Fix the frame
3. Fix the cable insight of the frame and make sure
its strength to the Velcro , so that you cable is stac .
Otherwise you will hear falsing noises from your detector.
4. Plug the headphones into the detector jack.
Telescopic handle opon:
1. Fix the detector to the telescopic handle
2. Fix the bolt to the screw. Your detector electronics box
shouldn’t shake.
3. Fix the coil.
4. Wind the coil cable around your stem. Plug the coil connector
into your coil socket.
Ensure that your coil cable is firmly aached to the sha,
without strain and can’t move around ESPACIALLY NEAR THE COIL!!!
Leave enough slack at the boom of the cable near the coil to
allow for adjusng the coil angle without placing
strain on the coil cable.

IV.Operating
Back panel:
ON/OFF buon turns “on” or “off” the power
from the baery to your detector.
Charger – from here you can charge your NiMH
baeries using your Smart charger. When they
are full your charger will automacally stops
charging.
PHONE – this is the place where you need to
plug in your headphones.
Thracian Mineral Power does not have
an external speaker!

IV.Operating
Front panel:
GROUND – This potenometer allows the detector be
adjusted to suit varying ground mineralizaon levels. If the effects
of ground mineralizaon are not balanced, signals from metal
objects will be very hard to be recognized from background noises.
TRESHOLD – This potenometer allows to control the loudness of
the background tone. It should be set to a level which is barely
audible.
Coil socket – here you need to plug in the connector
your coil/frame socket. Make sure it's screwed and fixed ght!

V.Ground balancing
It's important to check if your detector is ground balanced properly
to local soil condions.
ALLWAYS KEEP YOUR GROUND BALANCE POTENTIOMETER AT
THE END OF THE LEFT SIDE.
Your detector will be ground balanced on most common soils types.
However if the soil is highly mineralized you will need to turn
your potenometer to the right (clockwise) ll you hear a
slight click. Pump up and down your search coil/frame
between 1 and 20cm above the ground. As the coil goes up
and down, the volume and the pitch of the threshold tone will
change dramacally. Turn the potenometer ll you hear
the threshold and volume pitch slight.
Please note that when you have turned the
potenometer aer the “click” posion your detector will
decrease about 20-30% depth of detecon.

VI. Batteries
TMP metal detector works with 10 baeries NiMH 1.2 V 2300mAh.
A led red light will appear on the back panel of the detector when
the baeries are low.
Charging- always turn OFF your detector before charging!!!
VII
Frame
&
Search coil
Frame:
This coil will give you maximum depth of detecon on middle
sized coins and relics. It's light and is made for carrying it from one
person, but easily can be carried by two, just changing
the posion of the holding belts.
DD search coil:
The 11”DD coil is suitable for pinpoinng small targets where the
space is at minimum. It's also recommended for areas where the
mineralizaon changes dramacally from one locaon to next.
It's important that you don't put any adhesive tape such as duct
or electrical/insulaon tape around the frame/ coil.
This will reduce the performance of the detector.

VIII.Detecting with
TMP detector
Thracian Mineral Power is a moon metal detector. That means that the
coil/frame should be moving above the target, otherwise the detector will
not indicate the target.
Very important!!! DO NOT WEAR STEEL CAP BOOTS!!!
Do not wear metal objects in your
pockets (telephone, keys and other metal objects) while using the frame!!!
If you find that you are geng false signals as when you sweep the coil/frame
make sure that is not from the metal you are wearing!
The coil should be swept over the ground in
a side to side sweeping moon. Coupled with a
slow forward moon from the detectorist.
The frame should be moved slow forward. It's
very important when moving the coil/frame to
keep a constant level above the ground at all mes.
3-4-5cm above the ground will be perfect.

IX.
Signals
&
Locating the target
Metallic targets will usually give a solid sounding response when the
coil/frame swept across the object from any direcon.
Ground noises usually give a broad irregular response when the coil
is swept from different direcons.
The Halo Effect* which is built up around a buried metal object
making it appear to be lager to the Thracian Mineral Power detector
than it actual is will be reduced once the soil has been moved.
This can cause the strength of the object signal to reduce which may
then be mistaken for a ground noise.
When a likely object is detected , sweep
the general area, taking note of where the
strongest signal is received as the coil is
moved over the object. By decreasing the
length of the sweep it should be possible
to draw an imaginary line of the ground
where the strongest signal is located.
Now move around the target in 90 ° to
the inial direcon and repeat the process. Where the two
imaginary lines are crossed is where the object is located.
Small shallow targets will give a signals near the frame/rim (fig.1).

Maintenace
&
troubleshooting
It's very important to keep your electronics away from
moisture/water.
Keep your connectors clean and dry.
Do not expose your detector in High temperatures or in the sun
longer than necessary.
If any part of the detector comes into contact with corrosive
substance, including salt water it must be washed with fresh water.
Keep the unit dry and clean.
Before digging , clear the area of loose surface material and check
that the sound is sll there. If it's not, the target should be on the
surface material.Large deep targets give a large zone signal.
Small deep targets give a short quiet signal.

2.
1. Small shallow iron target
2. Big shallow iron target
No sound – turn the threshold fully clockwise ;
check cable connecons; check headphones,
check baery, check ON/OFF buon.

Threshold sound but no object detecon – check your
coil/frame connecon.
Random noises – check your baeries.
Warranty:
2 years of electronics device and 2 years of the
coil/frame.
