Eos®2 – Digital Humidity
Controller Overview
The Titan Controls®Eos®2 Digital Humidity controller is a simple to operate. It can be used
to either humidify or dehumidify your growing environment. The adjustment knobs and built in
photocell allow you to easily set day and night humidity levels. A range of 20% to 90% covers
the sweet spot for your plants and allows for optimum growing conditions.
Instructions for Operation
Before using this unit you must decide if this controller will be used with a humidifier or a
dehumidifier, and program the controller accordingly. Ensure the controller is powered on before
setting the mode.
Dehumidify Mode
Use this mode if you are connecting a dehumidifier which will lower the humidity level. Rotate
both Day and Night knobs fully COUNTERCLOCKWISE. After several moments the LEDs
on the front of the controller will start to flash. Once they stop flashing the Dehumidify LED
should remain on, and the others will turn off. This indicates the controller has been set to
Dehumidify-Mode.
Humidify Mode
Use this mode if you are connecting a humidifier which will increase the humidity level. Rotate
both Day and Night knobs fully CLOCKWISE. After several moments the LEDs on the front
of the controller will start to flash. Once they stop flashing the Humidify LED should remain on,
and the others will turn off. This indicates the controller has been set to Humidify-Mode.
Changing the Humidity Levels:
Once the mode of operation has been set, you may now set the Day and Night humidity levels
using the knobs. The built-in photocell will detect the ambient lighting level and activate the
Day/Night modes appropriately. After adjusting the settings, if the humidity level rises above or
below the set points (depending on whether humidifying or dehumidifying), the controller will
activate the connected device, and that device will remain on until the humidity level is raised
or lowered by 5% rH above or below the set points. For example, if you are using the controller
with a dehumidifier and the Day humidity setting is 80% if the humidity rises above 80% and if
the controller will activate the dehumidifier and it will remain on until the humidity lowers to 75%.
When using a dehumidifier the set points indicate the maximum humidity level. When using a
humidifier the set points indicate the minimum humidity level.
NOTE: Whenever the connected device is activated, the ‘Output On’ LED will
illuminate.

Installation Example
• Plug the controller into a standard 120V wall outlet. A 120V power supply is required. This
controller is water resistant, however it is not water-proof, so do not install it anywhere it
will come in contact with water.
• Ensure that the device being connected to the controller has the proper voltage and will not
exceed the maximum amperage rating.
• Connect the device to the controller using the outlet on the front.
Troubleshooting Tips
1. Is the photocell working? During the daytime the green LED on the top right edge of the
controller labeled Daytime will illuminate. During the night this LED will be off. The LED
has a 30 second delay when switching between Day and Night.
2. Can I connect more than one device to the controller? Yes, as long as the total
amperage of the devices does not exceed the maximum amperage rating of the
controller. It is recommended to keep the total amps at or below 80% of the total rating.
3. The humidity does not seem to be correct... The sensor on the controller is located on
the bottom of the unit in the protective plastic “cage.” Make sure the unit is not being
affected by other factors such as direct sunlight exposure or areas that may not have
good air movement.
4. The controller isn’t powering on... Ensure that the controller is fully inserted into the
power outlet. Test the controller using a power outlet that is conrmed to be working.
If it still does not power on and the LEDs do not illuminate, contact the Titan Controls®
technical service representative at 1-888-808-4826.
Safety Notes
1. These safety and operating instructions must be kept in a safe place for future reference.
2. All warnings on this product and in these instructions must be observed closely.
3. All operating instructions must be followed.
4. If the instructions as provided by the manufacturer are not followed, damage to the
product may result and warranty may be voided.
5. Install your controller at least 8 ft. away from any devices that produce large amounts of
electronic noise, such as electronic ballasts or ozone generators.
6. Do not use this controller near water. For example: near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen
sink, or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, etc.
7. Do not install the enclosure near any heat source.
8. Do not block any ventilation openings. This product is a Safety Class 1 Controller. The
main plug should be inserted in a power socket outlet only if provided with a protective
earth contact.
