Getting to know your Micro Voice Amp

Charging
You should fully charge your Micro Voice Amp before using it for the first
time. The battery takes 6 hours to charge and will last for about a week if
used for 8 hours per day.
Connect the charger to the port on the side of the Micro Voice Amp and
check that the charging LED flashes green to show it is working correctly.
Charging LED guide
Green – Battery is charged.
Green flashing – Battery is charging.
Orange flashing – Battery is low.
Red flashing – You have a shor t time before your battery will run out.

Operating your Micro Voice Amp
1Before use, decide how you are going to wear your Micro Voice Amp. You can attach it to your waist
using the belt clip or waist strap.
2Plug the microphone into the port.
3If you have the Lapel Clip Microphone - attach it to your clothing close to your mouth.
If you have the AVI Headset Microphone - fit it around the back of your head with the loops over
your ears and move the microphone close to your mouth.
If you have the Transdermal Microphone - make sure it is fitted flatly against the skin at the top
half of your neck (above the collar line).

To switch on the Micro Voice Amp, press the Control Button once and start speaking
into the microphone.
Volume
The volume can be controlled using the Volume Dial. Rotating the dial clockwise will
take the volume higher and anticlockwise will take the volume lower.
Mute (Standby)
If you would like to have a private conversation you can put Your Micro Voice Amp on standby. To do
this press the Control Button once. The LED indicator flashes orange to indicate that you are in
Mute. To retur n to normal operation press the Control Button once.
Off
To switch of f your Micro Voice Amp press and hold the Control
Button for three seconds or until the LED indicator goes red.

with a weak or strained voice, or those who
regularly use their voice intensively.

Avoid bringing the speaker and
microphone close together to
reduce feedback noise.

Quick Tip
Transdermal Microphone - If you have a small neck, tuck a small piece of fabric behind the
back of the neckpiece to improve the fit. It should not feel so tight that it is uncomfortable.
