ASSEMBLY
The loom parts are fastened to the side part with a six-angled screw and its
counterpart (a suitable tool is included). Leave the counterpart’s furrow to be seen.
1. Fasten the upper side parts (1) to the lower side parts (2) with
screws.
2. Let the right side part of the loom (2) lean against a wall. Screw the
lower back rail (3) and the front rail (4) to the side part.
3. Put the warp beam (5) in its place in the right side part of the loom
and turn the metal handle in place. This will hold the warp beam in
place.
4. Put the release handle on the axle of the cloth beam and push the
cloth beam (6) in its place in the right side part of the loom.

5. Put the left side part of the loom in place and fasten with screws.
6. Put the castle frame (7) in place on top
of the upper side parts (1) and fasten
with screws.
7. The breast (8) and back beam (10) are
kept in place by wooden pegs. Put these
in their places and place the breast beam and back beam in their places.
Put also the knee beam (9) in its place. Note that the breast and back
beam are similar and can be changed between themselves.
8. Put the rods for jacks and the jacks in place in the castle frame. Use the outer holes and lock the
rods with cotter pins. Put the long locking pins for the jacks in their places in the inner holes.
9. Put the long treadle bar (12) in its place in the back of the loom. Place the treadles (13) on the
bar and lock the treadles and the bar with 3 cotter pins.
10. Put the upper (14) and lower lams (15) in their places on their rods in the left side part.
11. Assemble the beater:
a. Put the parts of the beater on the floor: upper part, lower part and two
legs.
b. Put the wooden pegs in the lower part of the beater and fasten the lower
part to the legs with the thicker screws.
c. Fasten the upper part to the legs with the thinner screws.
d. Lift the beater in its place and lock the rods for the beater legs with
cotter pins.
e. Please check that the holes used are the same on both sides (both
vertically and horizontally).
Now the loom is assembled!
