1 Intended Purpose
The Baby Blend & Cook is a wonderful product to prepare your baby food. It combines 4 functions; defrosting, steam
cooking, mixing and heating
2 Safety advice
2.1 General
• Always read the safety instructions carefully and keep this user guide for future reference.
• Follow the basic safety precautions for all electronic equipment when using this product.
• This product is not a toy. Don’t let children play with it.
• Close supervision is necessary when the unit is used with children around.
• It is not intended for use by infirm persons without supervision.
• Do not leave the product unattended when plugged in. Unplug the product immediately from the main power after
use.
• The device is only for private use and is not intended for medical or commercial purposes.
• This unit is not waterproof. Don't expose this product to rain or moisture.
• Make sure that the appliance is not too close to heat sources such as ovens, radiators or direct sunlight.
2.2 Electric shock
• Before connecting the appliance to the mains power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the rating label
(underneath the base) corresponds to the local mains voltage.
• Do not operate this product when the cord or plug is damaged.
• Do not use the product if it is not working properly, dropped or damaged.
• Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by qualified persons. Incorrect repairs can lead to
considerable danger for the user. In the event of repairs, please contact our customer service or an authorized
dealer.
• Don't disassemble this product. It doesn't contain parts that can be repaired by the user.
• Do not connect other attachments than the one supplied with the product.
• Do not drop or insert object into any opening.
• Do not place the basic unit in a damp room and at a distance of less than 1.5 m away from a water source.

2.3 Baby Blend & Cook precautions
2.3.1 General
• Always check the consistency of the baby food. Make sure there are no chunks in the food.
• Operate on a dry level surface. Sinks, drain boards or uneven surfaces must be avoided. Never use the steamer
without water in it.
• Do not immerse the base, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Do not let the mains cable hang over the edge of a table or counter.
• Do not place the appliance on a hot surface or in a heated oven.
• For hygienic reasons, you should change the water every time you used the appliance.
• Food should not be heated for too long.
• This appliance is intended for processing small quantities of food for immediate consumption. It is not intended to
process large quantities of food at one time.
• Avoid running the motor continuously for periods over 30 seconds.
• Ensure the bowl and lid are fitted correctly before starting appliance.
• Do not exceed the maximum level indicated on the tank.
• When you steam ingredients, make sure that you do not overfill the steam basket.
• When you blend liquids, do not exceed the maximum level indicated on the bowl.
• Always make sure that the lid has cooled down after steaming before you open it to add more ingredients for
blending if necessary.
• Never connect this appliance to a timer switch or remote control system in order to avoid a hazardous situation.
• When the steaming process has finished (maximum 20 minutes) wait for the appliance to cool down for a few
minutes, turn the control switch to the “reset” position before starting a new steaming process.

2.3.2 Burn injuries
• Test food on the back of your hand before serving to ensure it is at a safe temperature for your baby.
• Caution should be taken when handling this appliance as some surfaces may be hot during and immediately after
boiling. Severe burns may result from misuse.
• Extreme caution is necessary when moving any appliance containing hot water. Wait until the appliance has
switched off automatically, or switch it off manually before moving it.
• Do not move the base when it contains hot water.
• Do not directly touch food inside the steamer.
• This appliance generates heat and escaping steam during use. Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the
risk of burns, fires or other damage to persons or property.
• Do not operate under or near flammable materials, such as curtains, drapes or any other combustible materials.
• Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before you clean it.
• Never use the bowl or any other part of the appliance in a microwave, as they are not suitable for this use.
• Never sterilise the bowl or any other part of the appliance in a steriliser or in a microwave,
2.3.3 Cutting injuries
• Keep hands and utensils away from cutting blade while chopping food to reduce the risk of injury to persons or
damage to the appliance. A plastic or wooden scraper may be used but only when the blender is not running.
• Never attach the chopping blade without the bowl in place.
• Motor and blender attachment must stop completely before removing lid.
• Do not touch the blades when removing food from the bowl or when removing the blades for cleaning as they are
sharp.
• Do not touch the blades, especially when the appliance is plugged in. The blades are very sharp.
• If the blades get stuck, unplug the appliance before you remove the ingredients blocking the blades.

4.1 Unpacking
Carefully unpack the unit and remove all packaging materials. Remove the power plug cover from pins. Clean all parts
except the main unit (see Cleaning and Maintenance), rinse and dry them thoroughly, taking care to handle the blending
blades carefully.

4.2 Assembly
Steamer Basket Handle
Place the handle in the upward position and slide it upwards
to secure to the steamer basket.
Remove the handle from the steam basket in the inverse
direction.
Steamer Basket
Place the steamer basket onto the water tank. Make sure the
triangle icon on the basket is aligned to the “unlock” position
on the base.
Turn the handle clockwise to the “lock” position.
Remove the steamer basket in the inverse direction.
Blades
!!! The blades are very sharp, be careful when handling.
Place the searing ring on the bottom of the blade.
Using your hand, hold the top of the blade and place it
through the hole on the bottom of the bowl.
Turn the bowl over with its opening downward, place the
blade retention nut on the blade’s other end and twist it anti-
clockwise until it locks into position.
Remove the blade in the inverse direction.
Blender Lid
Place the lid on the bowl as the below drawing, turn it
anticlockwise until it locks into position.
Remove the blender lid in the inverse direction.
Warning: This unit has an interlocking system. The unit will
not operate unless the lid has been fitted correctly. Do not
attempt to start the unit without the lid being correctly placed
and locked into position.
Blender Bowl
Place the blending bowl over the centre post in the base.
Make sure the triangle icon on the blending bowl is aligned
to the “unlock” position on the base. Turn the handle anti-
clockwise to the “lock” position.
Remove the blender bowl in the inverse direction.

5 Operation
This appliance is intended for steaming fresh solid ingredients and then blending them to obtain baby food. Normally
you would first steam the ingredients and then blend them. However, you can also use the appliance for steaming or
blending only. When you use the appliance for blending only, skip the sections ‘Filling the tank with water’ and
“Steaming’ and only follow the instructions in section “Blending’.
Note: After blending, never steam already blended food.
Never steam the same batch of ingredients for longer than 20 minutes or more than once.
5.1 Steaming
5.1.1 Filling the tank with water
Remove the steamer basket from the tank . Fill with water, ensuring the maximum level is not exceeded.
Note: It is advisable not to use mineral water, as the minerals contained in this type of water cause scale to build up
inside the tank.
Note: Do not place anything other than water in the water tank.
5.1.2 Steaming
• Position the unit on a flat surface.
• Insert the power cord into a standard domestic power outlet and switch on.
• Remove the steamer basket from the water tank . Fill with water, ensuring the maximum level is not
exceeded.
• Place the steamer basket onto the water tank and turn to the “lock” position.
• Cut solid ingredients into small pieces (cubes not bigger than 2-3cm).
• Place the ingredients in the steamer basket .
• Place the lid on the steamer basket.
• Turn the control switch to the steaming position . The steaming indicator will light up to indicate that the
appliance is steaming.
• When the food has steamed, turn the control switch to the “off” position. Wait 2 minutes before removing
the lid to ensure no more steam releases from the steam outlet.
• Test the food to make sure it is at a safe temperature for your baby.
Note: Do not process a large quantity of solid ingredients at the same time. Process these ingredients in a
series of small batches instead.
5.2 Auto Cut-Out Reset
This appliance is equipped with an overheat protection. It will cut off the power automatically if the water is heating dry.
The steam indicator will go out at the same time.
To start your next steaming process, wait for the appliance to cool down and turn the control switch to the reset
position .
5.3 Ingredients and their steaming time
All food has to be cut in small cubes, no bigger than 2-3cm.
WARNING
• Always check the temperature of the baby food before you feed your baby.
• Always make sure that the lid has cooled down after steaming before you open it to add more
ingredients for blending.
• Empty the water tank before you refill it to start a new steaming process.
• Do not exceed the maximum level indicated on the blender bowl when blending food.
• Do not exceed the maximum level indicated on the blender bowl when blending liquids.

Refer to below table for water guidelines for steaming.
5.4 Blending
This appliance is intended for pureeing steamed and cooked ingredients for baby food and blending fluids and fruits for
baby drinks.
This appliance is not intended for chopping hard ingredients such as ice or sugar cubes.
Note
If the ingredients stick to the wall of the bowl after blending, switch off the appliance and loosen them with a
spatula or add liquid.
Make sure that the blended baby food is at the right consistency (e.g. no lumps) before serving.
If the baby food is still too solid add liquid (e.g. water) until the baby food is soft and smooth.
• Place the blender bowl with the blade installed on the base and turn to the “lock” position.
• Put the steamed food or fruit into the bowl . If necessary, add additional ingredients for blending (e.g. water or
oil).
• Place the lid on the blending bowl and turn to the “lock” position.
• Turn the control switch to the blending position . Hold the switch in this position until the food is properly
blended.
• When you have finished blending, simply release the control switch . The switch automatically returns to the off
position .
• Unplug the appliance.
• Remove the blended food from the bowl. If necessary, use a spatula. Make sure that the baby food is at a safe
temperature for your baby.

WARNING
• This appliance is equipped with a built-in safety lock. This appliance only functions if you have
correctly assembled the lid.
• Do not let the appliance blend for more than 30 seconds at a time. If you have not finished blending
after 30 seconds, switch off the appliance and wait 2 minutes before continuing. If the appliance
becomes hot, let it cool down for a few minutes before continuing.

7 Cleaning
• Clean the appliance after every use.
• Never use bleach or chemical sterilising solutions/tablets in the appliance.
• Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
• Unplug the appliance and remove the lid from the steamer basket and blender bowl.
• Remove the steamer basket and blender bowl from the main unit.
• Remove the blade from the blender bowl.
• Clean the blade under the tap thoroughly, immediately after use. Make sure you also rinse the searing rubber ring.
• Handle the blade very carefully. The cutting edges are very sharp.
• Clean the other parts that have come into contact with food in hot water with some washing-up liquid immediately
after use.
• To clean the water tank, fill it with warm, soapy water, then rinse thoroughly. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
• If necessary, clean the main unit with a moist cloth.
8 Descaling The Water tank
• Mineral deposits (usually white in color) may form on the inner surfaces of the tank and can cause damage to the
unit.
• Descaling is recommended every four weeks to ensure the appliance works effectively. To reduce scale build-up,
it is helpful to use pre-boiled or filtered water in the appliance. To descale the appliance, follow the descaling
instructions below.
• Make sure the appliance is switched off.
• Add one sachet of citric acid (10g) to 150ml of warm water.
• Fill the tank with the solution of citric acid (or vinegar) and water.
• Turn the control dial to steaming position. The indicator light will turn orange to indicate that the appliance is
steaming.
• Switch off the appliance after 5-6 min of steaming and unplug it.
• Pour the used solution of citric acid (or vinegar) and water out of the tank.
• Rinse the water tank and the bowl thoroughly with fresh water several times.
• Fill the tank with 150ml water and let the appliance complete a steaming process of 20 minutes with the empty
bowl before you use the appliance with food again.
Note: You can also use a solution of 100ml water and 50ml white vinegar (8% acetic acid).
9 Storage
• Empty the water tank before you store the appliance.
• Make sure all parts are clean and dry before you store the appliance.
• Store the appliance with the blade unit in the bowl to prevent damage.
10 Topcom warranty
10.1 Warranty period
The Topcom units have a 24-month warranty period. The warranty period starts on the day the new unit is purchased.
Consumables or defects causing a negligible effect on operation or value of the equipment are not covered.
The warranty has to be proven by presentation of the original purchase receipt, on which the date of purchase and the
unit-model are indicated.
10.2 Warranty exclusions
Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment or operation and damage resulting from use of non-original parts or
accessories not recommended by Topcom are not covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by outside factors, such as lightning, water and fire, nor any damage
caused during transportation.
No warranty can be claimed if the serial number on the units has been changed, removed or rendered illegible.

• Never immerse the main unit , cord and plug into any liquids.

1 Beoogd Gebruik
De Baby Blend & Cook is een geweldig product voor het bereiden van babyvoeding. Het apparaat combineert 4
functies: ontdooien, stomen, pureren en verwarmen.
2 Veiligheidsadvies
Het apparaat is enkel bestemd voor het gebruik beschreven in deze gebruiksaanwijzing. De fabrikant kan niet
aansprakelijk gesteld worden voor persoonlijke letsels of schade die voortvloeit uit onaangepast of
onvoorzichtig gebruik.
2.1 Algemeen
• Lees de veiligheidsinstructies altijd aandachtig en bewaar deze gebruiksaanwijzing voor eventueel later gebruik.
• Houd u bij het gebruik van dit product aan de elementaire voorzorgsmaatregelen die gelden voor alle
elektronische apparaten.
• Dit product is geen speelgoed. Laat kinderen er niet mee spelen.
• Wanneer het toestel gebruikt wordt in de buurt van kinderen is degelijk toezicht noodzakelijk.
• Het is niet de bedoeling dat personen met een handicap het toestel zonder toezicht gebruiken.
• Laat het product niet onbeheerd achter met de stekker in het stopcontact. Haal de stekker onmiddellijk na gebruik
uit het stopcontact.
• Het apparaat is enkel bestemd voor privégebruik, niet voor medische of commerciële doeleinden.

2.2 Elektrische schok
• Controleer of de spanning die vermeld staat op het etiket (onderaan de basis) overeenkomt met het voltage van
het plaatselijke elektriciteitsnet voordat u het toestel op het stroomnet aansluit.
• Gebruik het product niet als de kabel of stekker beschadigd is.
• Gebruik het product niet als het niet correct werkt, als het gevallen of beschadigd is.
• Elektrische toestellen moeten altijd hersteld worden door een daartoe gekwalificeerd persoon. Slechte reparaties

2.3 Baby Blend & Cook voorzorgsmaatregelen
2.3.1 Algemeen
• Controleer altijd de consistentie van de babyvoeding. Wees er zeker van dat er geen stukken in de voeding
aanwezig zijn.
• Gebruik het apparaat op een droge en vlakke ondergrond. Gootstenen, afdruiprekken of oneven ondergronden
dienen te worden vermeden. Gebruik de stomer nooit als er geen water in zit.
• De basis, het snoer en de stekker niet onderdompelen in water of andere vloeistoffen.
• Laat de stroomkabel niet over de rand van de tafel of het keukenblad hangen.
• Plaats het apparaat niet op een warme ondergrond of in een warme oven.
• Om hygiënische redenen dient u het water iedere keer dat u het apparaat gebruikt te vervangen.
• De voeding dient niet te lang te worden verwarmd.
• Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor de verwerking van kleine hoeveelheden voeding voor onmiddellijke consumptie. Het
is niet bedoeld voor de verwerking van grote hoeveelheden per keer.
• Vermijd het continu laten lopen van de motor voor langer dan 30 seconden.
• Zorg ervoor dat de kom en de deksel correct zijn geplaatst, alvorens het apparaat te starten.
• U dient het op het reservoir aangegeven maximale niveau niet te overschrijden.
• Zorg er bij het stomen van de ingrediënten voor dat u het stoommandje niet te vol vult.
• Voorkom het overschrijden van het op de kom aangegeven maximale niveau, wanneer u vloeistoffen mengt.
• Wees er altijd zeker van dat de deksel is afgekoeld na het stomen, voordat u de deksel opent om, indien nodig,
voor het pureren meer ingrediënten toevoegt.
• Verbind dit apparaat nooit met een tijdschakelaar of een afstandsbedieningsysteem, om gevaarlijke situaties te
voorkomen.

• Als het stoomproces is voltooid (maximaal 20 minuten), dient u het apparaat eerst een aantal minuten te laten
afkoelen en de schakelaar op de “reset” stand te draaien, voordat u een nieuw stoomproces start.
2.3.2 Brandletsel
• Controleer warme voeding voor het opdienen eerst op de rug van uw hand, om er zeker van te zijn dat het een
veilige temperatuur voor uw baby heeft.
• Dit apparaat dient met zorg te worden gehanteerd, daar sommige oppervlakken warm kunnen zijn tijdens en
direct na het koken. Onjuist gebruik kan leiden tot ernstig brandletsel.
• Het verplaatsen van apparaten met heet water dient met uiterste voorzichtigheid te gebeuren. Wacht totdat het
apparaat automatisch is uitgeschakeld of schakel het apparaat handmatig uit, voordat u het apparaat verplaatst.
• Verplaats de basis niet als deze heet water bevat.
• Vermijd direct contact met voedsel dat zich in de stomer bevindt.
• Dit apparaat genereert warmte en stoom tijdens het gebruik. Men dient geschikte voorzorgsmaatregelen te
treffen, om risico op brandletsel, brand en schade aan personen en eigendommen te voorkomen.
• Hanteer het apparaat niet onder of in de buurt van brandbare materialen, zoals gordijnen, vitrages of andere licht
ontvlambare materialen.
• Koppel het apparaat altijd los en laat het afkoelen, alvorens het te reinigen.
• Gebruik de kom of de andere onderdelen van het apparaat nooit in een magnetron, daar deze niet geschikt zijn
voor een dergelijk gebruik.
• De kom of de andere onderdelen van het apparaat nooit steriliseren in een sterilisator of magnetron.
2.3.3 Snijletsel
• Houd handen en keukengerei uit de buurt van het snijmes tijden het pureren van het voedsel, om risico op letsel
aan personen of aan het apparaat te reduceren. Er kan, uitsluitend wanneer de blender is uitgeschakeld, een
plastic of houten spatel worden gebruikt.
• U dient het hakmes uitsluitend te plaatsen wanneer de kom correct is geplaatst.
• De motor en het blenderopzetstuk dienen geheel tot stilstand te zijn gekomen, alvorens de deksel te verwijderen.
• Raak de messen niet aan tijdens het verwijderen van de voeding uit de kom of tijdens het verwijderen van de
messen om deze te reinigen, daar deze scherp zijn.
• Raak de messen niet aan, met name wanneer het apparaat is aangesloten op het stopcontact. De messen zijn
zeer scherp.
• Verwijder, indien de messen geblokkeerd raken, het apparaat uit het stopcontact, alvorens de blokkerende
ingrediënten te verwijderen.

4 Voordat u kunt beginnen
4.1 Verpakking verwijderen
Verwijder de eenheid voorzichtig uit de verpakking en verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal. Verwijder de afdekking
van de pinnen van de stroomstekker. Reinig alle onderdelen m.u.v. de hoofdeenheid (zie ‘Reinigen en Onderhoud’) en
spoel en droog deze af, rekening houdend met de scherpe messen.

4.2 Montage
5 Werking
Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het stomen en pureren van verse vaste ingrediënten voor het verkrijgen van babyvoeding.
Normaalgesproken dient u de ingrediënten eerst te stomen, om ze vervolgens te pureren. Het apparaat kan echter ook
uitsluitend voor stomen of uitsluitend voor pureren worden gebruikt. Indien u het apparaat uitsluitend voor pureren
gebruikt, kunt u de secties “Het reservoir vullen met water” en “Stomen” overslaan en de instructies onder de sectie

Handvat Stoommandje
Plaats het handvat in opwaartse positie en schuif het
omhoog om het vast te zetten op het stoommandje.
Verwijder het handvat van het stoommandje in de
omgekeerde richting.
Stoommandje
Plaats het stoommandje op het waterreservoir. Zorg ervoor
dat het driehoek icoontje op het mandje samenvalt met de
“ontgrendeling” stand op de basis.
Draai het handvat met de klok mee naar de “vergrendeling”
stand.
Verwijder het stoommandje in de omgekeerde richting.
Messen
!!! De messen zijn zeer scherp, u dient deze voorzichtig
te hanteren.
Plaats de afsluitring aan de onderkant van het mes.
Houd de bovenkant van het mes vast met de hand en duw
het door het gat in de bodem van de kom.
Draai de kom om en plaats de retentiemoer op het uiteinde
van het mes en draai de moer tegen de klok in om te
vergrendelen.
Verwijder het mes in omgekeerde richting.
Deksel Mengkom
Plaats de deksel op de kom, zoals op onderstaande
tekening. Draai de deksel tegen de klok in, totdat deze zich
vergrendelt.
Verwijder de deksel in de omgekeerde richting.
Waarschuwing: Deze eenheid beschikt over een
beveiligingssysteem. De eenheid werkt niet als de deksel
niet correct is geplaatst. Probeer de eenheid niet te starten
als de deksel niet correct is geplaatst en vergrendeld.
Mengkom
Plaats de mengkom op het middelpunt op de basis. Zorg
ervoor dat het driehoek icoontje op de mengkom samenvalt
met de “ontgrendeling” stand op de basis. Draai het handvat
tegen de klok in naar de “vergrendeling” stand.
Verwijder de mengkom in omgekeerde richting.

Opmerking: Na het pureren mag de voeding niet meer worden gestoomd.
Stoom een portie ingrediënten nooit langer dan 20 minuten of meer dan één keer.
5.1 Stomen
5.1.1 Het reservoir vullen met water
Verwijder het stoommandje van het reservoir.Vul het reservoir met water, zonder het maximale niveau te
overschrijden.
Opmerking: Het is aangeraden om geen mineraalwater te gebruiken, omdat de mineralen die zich in dit type water
bevinden kalkaanslag kunnen veroorzaken in het reservoir.
Opmerking: Het waterreservoir dient uitsluitend met water te worden gevuld.
5.1.2 Stomen
• Plaats de eenheid op een vlakke ondergrond.
• Voer de stroomkabel in, in een standaard stopcontact en schakel het apparaat in.
• Verwijder het stoommandje van het reservoir . Vul het reservoir met water, zonder het maximale niveau te
overschrijden.
• Plaats het stoommandje op het waterreservoir en draai deze naar de “vergrendeling” stand.
• Snijd vaste ingrediënten in kleine stukjes (blokjes niet groter dan 2-3cm).
• Plaats de ingrediënten in het stoommandje .
• Plaats de deksel op het stoommandje .
• Draai de schakelaar naar de stoomstand . De stoomindicator zal oplichten om aan te geven dat het
apparaat aan het stomen is.
• Draai de schakelaar naar de “uit” stand, zodra de ingrediënten gestoomd zijn. Wacht 2 minuten met het
verwijderen van de deksel , om er zeker van te zijn dat er geen stoom meer vrijkomt uit de stroomuitlaat.
• Controleer de temperatuur van de voeding, om er zeker van te zijn dat deze veilig is voor uw baby.
Opmerking: U dient geen grote hoeveelheden vaste ingrediënten tegelijk te verwerken. Verwerk een grote
hoeveelheid ingrediënten, door deze over een aantal kleine porties te verdelen.
5.2 Reset automatische stroomonderbreker
Dit apparaat is uitgerust met een oververhittingbeveiliging. Hiermee wordt de stroom direct onderbroken als het water
aan het droogkoken is. Op hetzelfde moment wordt de stoomindicator uitgeschakeld.
Om met het volgende stoomproces te beginnen, dient u te wachten tot het apparaat is afgekoeld en de schakelaar
naar de reset-stand Reset te draaien.
5.3 Ingrediënten en stoomtijden
Alle ingrediënten dienen in kleine blokjes, niet groter dan 2-3cm, te worden gesneden.
WAARSCHUWING
• Controleer altijd de temperatuur van de voeding, voordat u deze toedient aan uw kind.
• Wees er altijd zeker van dat de deksel is afgekoeld na het stomen, voordat u deze opent om meer
ingrediënten toe te voegen voor het pureren.
• Leeg het waterreservoir volledig, zodat u het reservoir opnieuw kunt vullen voor een nieuw
stoomproces.
• U dient het op de mengkom aangegeven maximale niveau niet te overschrijden, wanneer u voeding
wilt pureren.

5.4 Pureren
Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het pureren van gestoomde en gekookte ingrediënten voor babyvoeding en voor het
blenden van vloeistoffen en fruit voor babydrankjes/sapjes.
Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor het hakken van harde ingrediënten, zoals ijsblokjes of suikerklontjes.
Opmerking
Als de ingrediënten na het pureren vastplakken aan de wand van de kom, dient u het apparaat uit te schakelen
en de ingrediënten los te maken met een spatel of door water toe te voegen.
Zorg ervoor dat de gepureerde babyvoeding de juiste consistentie heeft (bijv. geen klontjes of stukjes), voordat
u de voeding opdient.
Als de babyvoeding te dik is, kunt u een vloeistof (bijv. water) toevoegen, totdat de voeding zacht en glad is.
• Plaats de mengkom met het gemonteerde mes op de basis en draai deze naar de “vergrendeling” stand.
• Plaats de gestoomde ingrediënten of het fruit in de kom . Voeg, indien nodig, extra ingrediënten toe voor het
pureren (bijv. water of olie).
• Plaats de deksel op de mengkom en draai deze naar de “vergrendeling” stand.
• Draai de schakelaar naar de pureerstand . Houd de schakelaar vast op deze stand, totdat de voeding
voldoende is gepureerd.
• Laat de schakelaar los zodra het pureren is voltooid. De schakelaar draait automatisch terug naar de “uit”
.stand.
• Koppel het apparaat los.
• Verwijder de gepureerde voeding uit de kom en gebruik hiervoor indien nodig een spatel. Wees er zeker van dat
de voeding de juiste temperatuur heeft, voordat u deze toedient aan uw baby.

WAARSCHUWING

7 Reinigen
• Reinig het apparaat na elk gebruik.
• Gebruik nooit bleek of chemische sterilisatieoplossingen/tabletten in het apparaat.
• Gebruik nooit schuursponsjes of schuurmiddelen om het apparaat te reinigen.
• Koppel het apparaat los en verwijder de deksel van het stoommandje en de mengkom.
• Verwijder het stoommandje en de mengkom van de hoofdeenheid.
• Verwijder het mes uit de mengkom.
• Reinig het mes, direct na gebruik, grondig onder de kraan. Zorg ervoor dat u ook de rubberen afsluitring goed
reinigt.
• Hanteer het mes uiterst voorzichtig. De snijkanten zijn zeer scherp.
• Reinig de andere onderdelen die in contact zijn gekomen met de voeding direct na gebruik met heet water en een
beetje afwasmiddel.
• Om het waterreservoir te reinigen, dient u het reservoir te vullen met warm zeepwater en vervolgens goed af te
spoelen. Droogwrijven met een zachte doek.
• Indien nodig kan de hoofdeenheid afgenomen worden met een vochtige doek.
8 Het waterreservoir ontkalken
• Kalkafzetting (gewoonlijk wit van kleur) kan zich vormen aan de binnenkant van het reservoir en kan schade
veroorzaken aan de eenheid.
• Het is aangeraden om het apparaat om de vier weken te ontkalken, om de effectieve werking ervan te
garanderen. Om de kans op kalkafzetting te reduceren, kunt u voorgekookt of gefilterd water gebruiken. Om het
apparaat te ontkalken, dient u de hieronder vermelde ontkalkinginstructies op te volgen.
• Wees er zeker van dat het apparaat is uitgeschakeld.
• Voeg één sachet citroenzuur (10g) toe aan 150ml warm water.
• Vul het reservoir met de citroenzuuroplossing (of azijn) en water.
• Draai de schakelaar naar de stoomstand. Het indicatielampje licht oranje op om aan te geven dat het apparaat
aan het stomen is.
• Schakel het apparaat na 5-6 minuten stomen uit en koppel het los.
• Giet de citroenzuuroplossing (of azijn) uit het reservoir.
• Spoel het waterreservoir een aantal keren grondig met schoon water.
• Vul het reservoir met 150ml water en laat het apparaat een stoomproces van 20 minuten voltooien met een lege
mengkom, voordat u het apparaat opnieuw gebruikt voor het bereiden van voeding.
Opmerking: U kunt ook een oplossing van 100ml water en 50ml witte azijn (8% azijnzuur) gebruiken.
9 Opslag
• Leeg het waterreservoir, voordat u het apparaat opbergt.
• Zorg ervoor dat alle onderdelen schoon en droog zijn, voordat u het apparaat opbergt.
• Berg het apparaat op met het mes in de mengkom, om schade te voorkomen.
10 Topcom-garantie
10.1 Garantieperiode
Op de Topcom-toestellen wordt een garantie van 24 maanden verleend. De garantieperiode gaat in op de dag waarop
het nieuwe toestel wordt gekocht.
Kleine onderdelen of defecten die een verwaarloosbaar effect hebben op de werking of waarde van het toestel worden
niet gedekt door de garantie.
De garantie moet worden bewezen door het kunnen voorleggen van de originele aankoopbon waarop de
aankoopdatum en het toestelmodel staan aangegeven.
10.2 Garantiebeperkingen
Schade of defecten als gevolg van een onjuiste behandeling of onjuist gebruik en schade als gevolg van het gebruik
van niet-originele onderdelen of accessoires die niet worden aanbevolen door Topcom, vallen buiten de garantie.
De garantie dekt geen schade die te wijten is aan externe factoren, zoals bliksem, water en brand, noch enige
transportschade.
Er kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt op de garantie als het serienummer op het toestel gewijzigd, verwijderd of
onleesbaar gemaakt is.
WAARSCHUWING
• Dompel de hoofdeenheid, het snoer en de stekker nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.

1 Utilisation prévue
Le ‘Baby Blend & Cook’ est un appareil incroyable pour la préparation de la nourriture de votre bébé. Il combine 4
fonctions : décongélation, cuisson vapeur, mixeur et chauffage.
2 Conseils de sécurité
L'appareil est uniquement conçu pour l'utilisation décrite dans ce manuel d'utilisation. Le fabricant ne peut être
tenu responsable des blessures corporelles ou dommages émanant d'une utilisation inappropriée ou
imprudente.
2.1 Généralités
• Lisez toujours attentivement les instructions de sécurité et conservez ce manuel d'utilisation afin de pouvoir le
consulter ultérieurement.
• Respectez les précautions élémentaires applicables à tous les équipements électroniques lorsque vous utilisez
ce produit.
• Ce produit n'est pas un jouet. Ne laissez pas les enfants jouer avec.

2.3 Précautions du ‘Baby Blend & Cook'
2.3.1 Général
• Vérifiez toujours la consistance de la nourriture du bébé. Veillez à ce qu’aucun morceau ne soit dans la nourriture.
• Utilisez-le sur une surface plate sèche. Eviers, égouttoirs ou des surfaces dénivelées doivent être évités.
N’utilisez jamais le cuiseur sans eau à l’intérieur.
• N’immergez pas la base, le cordon ou la prise dans l’eau ou autre liquide.
• Ne laissez pas pendre le cordon d’alimentation au-dessus du bord d’une table ou d’un comptoir.
• Ne mettez pas l’appareil sur une surface chaude ou dans un four chaud.
• Pour des raisons d’hygiène, l’eau devrait être remplacée chaque fois que l'appareil est utilisé.
• La nourriture ne devrait pas être chauffée pendant trop longtemps.
• Cet appareil est destiné à traiter des petites quantités de nourriture pour consommation immédiate. Il n’est pas
destiné à traiter de grandes quantités de nourriture en une fois.
• Evitez de faire marcher le moteur continuellement durant des périodes excédant 30 secondes.
• Veillez à ce que le bol et le couvercle soient correctement placés avant d’enclencher l’appareil.
• Ne dépassez pas le niveau maximum indiqué sur le réservoir.
• Lors de la cuisson vapeur des aliments, veillez à ne pas trop remplir le panier vapeur.
• Lors du mixage de liquides, ne dépassez pas le niveau maximum indiqué sur le bol.

• Ne branchez jamais l’appareil à un programmateur ou système de télécommande afin d’éviter un incident

• Lorsque le processus de cuisson vapeur est terminé (maximum 20 minutes), attendez que l'appareil refroidisse
pendant quelques minutes, tournez le bouton de commande sur la position 'reset' (réinitialiser) avant
d’enclencher un nouveau cycle de cuisson vapeur.
2.3.2 Blessures par brûlures
• Contrôlez la nourriture avant de la servir avec le dos de votre main pour vérifier que la température soit sans
risque pour votre bébé.
• Des précautions sont nécessaires lors de la manipulation de cet appareil comme certaines parties peuvent être
chaudes pendant et immédiatement après l’ébullition. Une mauvaise utilisation peut entrainer des brûlures
graves.
• Une extrême prudence est requise lors du déplacement d’appareils contenant de l’eau chaude. Attendez que
l'appareil se soit automatiquement éteint, ou éteignez-le manuellement avant de le déplacer.
• Ne déplacez pas la base lorsqu’il contient de l’eau chaude.
• Ne touchez pas directement la nourriture à l’intérieur du cuiseur vapeur.
• Cet appareil génère de la chaleur et dégage de la vapeur pendant l'utilisation. Des précautions adéquates doivent
être prises pour éviter le risque de brûlures, d'incendies ou autres dégâts aux personnes ou aux biens.
• Ne le faites pas fonctionner sous ou à proximité de matériaux inflammables, tels des rideaux, des tentures ou
tous autres matériaux combustibles.
• Débranchez toujours l’appareil et laissez-le refroidir avant de le nettoyer.
• Ne mettez jamais le bol ou toute autre partie de l'appareil dans un micro-onde, comme ils ne conviennent pas à
cette utilisation.
• Ne stérilisez jamais le bol ou toute autre partie de l’appareil dans un stérilisateur ou dans un micro-onde.
2.3.3 Blessures par entailles
• Gardez les mains et les ustensiles éloignés de la lame du couteau pendant que la nourriture est hachée afin de
réduire le danger de blessures aux personnes ou des dommages à l’appareil. Une raclette en plastique ou en
bois peut être utilisée mais uniquement lorsque le mixeur est à l’arrêt.
• Ne fixez jamais la lame du hachoir sans que le bol ne soit en place.
• Les accessoires du moteur et du mixeur doivent être totalement arrêtés avant de retirer le couvercle.
• Ne touchez pas les lames lors du retrait de la nourriture du bol ou lors du retrait des lames pour les nettoyer
comme elles sont tranchantes.
• Ne touchez pas les lames, en particulier lorsque l’appareil est branché. Les lames sont très tranchantes.
• Si les lames sont immobilisées, débranchez l’appareil avant de retirer les aliments les obstruant.

4.1 Déballage
Déballez soigneusement l’appareil et retirez tous les matériaux d’emballage. Retirez le cache des fiches de la prise
d’alimentation. Nettoyez toutes les surfaces sauf l’unité principale (Voir Nettoyage et Entretien), rincez et essuyez-les
soigneusement, en prenant soin de manipuler prudemment les lames du mixeur.

4.2 Montage
5 Fonctionnement
Cet appareil est destiné à la cuisson vapeur d’aliments frais durs et puis de leur mixage pour obtenir de la nourriture
pour bébé. En général, les ingrédients devraient d’abord être cuits à la vapeur et ensuite mixés. Cependant, il vous est
aussi possible d’utiliser l’appareil uniquement pour la cuisson à la vapeur ou pour mixer. Lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil
Poignée du panier vapeur
Mettez la poignée dans la position haute et faites la glisser
vers le haut pour la fixer au panier vapeur.
Retirez la poignée du panier vapeur dans le sens inverse.
Panier vapeur
Mettez le panier vapeur sur le réservoir d’eau. Veillez à ce
que l’icône triangulaire du panier soit aligné à la position
‘unlock’ (déverrouiller) de la base.
Tournez la poignée dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre
sur la position ‘lock’ (verrouiller). Retirez le panier vapeur
dans le sens inverse.
Lames
!!! Les lames sont très tranchantes, soyez prudent(e)
lors de la manipulation.
Mettez l’anneau de fixation au bas de la lame. Avec votre
main, tenez le haut de la lame et placez-la par le trou au
fond du bol.
Renversez le bol avec ses ouvertures vers le bas, mettez
l’écrou de fixation de la lame sur l’autre côté de la lame et
tournez le dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre
jusqu’à son verrouillage en position.
Retirez la lame dans le sens inverse.
Couvercle du mixeur
Posez le couvercle sur le bol tel indiqué sur l’illustration
suivante, tournez le dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une
montre jusqu’à son verrouillage en position.
Retirez le couvercle du mixeur dans le sens inverse.
Avertissement : Cet appareil a un système d’enclenchement.
L’appareil ne fonctionnera pas à moins que le couvercle ne
soit correctement positionné. N'essayez pas d’enclencher
l'appareil sans que le couvercle ne soit correctement
positionné et verrouillé en position.
Bol du mixeur
Posez le bol du mixeur au-dessus de la tige centrale de la
base. Veillez à ce que l’icône triangulaire du bol du mixeur
soit aligné sur la position ‘unlock’ (déverrouiller) de la base.
Tournez la poignée dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une
montre sur la position ‘lock’ (verrouiller).
Retirez le bol du mixeur dans le sens inverse.

NB : Après avoir mixé, ne faites jamais cuire à la vapeur de la nourriture déjà mixée.
Ne faites jamais cuire à la vapeur la même quantité d’ingrédients pendant plus de 20 minutes ou plus d’une
fois.
5.1 Cuisson vapeur
5.1.1 Remplir le réservoir avec de l’eau
Retirez le panier vapeur du réservoir . Remplissez d’eau, en veillant à ne pas dépasser le niveau maximum.
NB : Il est conseillé de ne pas utiliser d’eau minérale, car les minéraux contenus dans ce genre d’eau entraînent la
formation de calcaire à l’intérieur du réservoir.
NB : Ne mettez pas autre chose que de l’eau dans le réservoir d’eau.
5.1.2 Cuisson vapeur
• Mettez l’appareil sur une surface plate.
• Branchez le cordon d’alimentation dans une prise normale de secteur domestique et allumez.
• Retirez le panier vapeur du réservoir . Remplissez d’eau, en veillant à ne pas dépasser le niveau
maximum.
• Mettez le panier vapeur sur le réservoir d’eau et tournez sur la position ‘lock’ (verrouiller)
• Découpez des ingrédients durs en petits morceaux (dés inférieurs à 2 à 3 cm).
• Mettez les ingrédients dans le panier vapeur .
• Mettez le couvercle sur le panier vapeur.
• Tournez le bouton de commande sur la position vapeur . Le voyant de cuisson vapeur s’allumera pour
indiquer que l’appareil cuit à la vapeur.
• Lorsque la nourriture est cuite à la vapeur, tournez le bouton de commande sur la position ‘off’ (Arrêt) .
Patientez 2 minutes avant de retirer le couvercle pour veiller à ce que plus aucune vapeur n’émane de l'orifice
de vapeur.
• Goûtez la nourriture pour veiller à ce que la température soit sans risque pour votre bébé.
NB : N’utilisez pas une grande quantité d'ingrédients durs à la fois. Au contraire, traitez ces ingrédients en une
série de petites quantités.
5.2 Arrêt automatique- Réinitialisation
Cet appareil est muni d’une protection de surchauffe. L’alimentation sera automatiquement arrêtée si l’eau est chauffée
à sec. Le voyant de vapeur s’éteindra en même temps.
Pour commencer votre cycle suivant de cuisson à la vapeur, attendez que l’appareil soit refroidi et tournez le bouton
de commande sur la position Reset (réinitialiser).
5.3 Ingrédients et leurs temps de cuisson à la vapeur
Toute la nourriture doit être découpée en petits dés, inférieurs à 2 à 3 cm.
AVERTISSEMENT
• Vérifiez toujours la température de la nourriture de bébé avant de nourrir votre bébé.
• Veillez toujours à ce que le couvercle soit refroidi après la cuisson à la vapeur avant de l’ouvrir pour
ajouter d’autres ingrédients à mixer.
• Videz le réservoir d’eau avant de le remplir pour commencer un nouveau cycle de cuisson vapeur.
• Ne dépassez pas le niveau maximum indiqué sur le bol du mixeur pour mixer la nourriture.

5.4 Mixer
Cet appareil est destiné à écraser les ingrédients cuits à la vapeur et cuits pour la nourriture de bébé et pour mixer les
liquides et les fruits pour les boissons de bébé.
Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à hacher des ingrédients durs tels des glaçons ou du sucre en morceaux.
NB :
Si les ingrédients se collent à la paroi du bol après avoir mixé, éteignez l'appareil et décollez-les avec une
spatule ou ajoutez du liquide.
Veillez à ce que la nourriture mixée de bébé soit de consistance correcte (ex : aucun morceau) avant de servir.
Si la nourriture du bébé est encore trop épaisse, ajoutez du liquide (ex : de l’eau) jusqu’à ce que la nourriture
du bébé soit moelleuse et homogène.
• Mettez le bol du mixeur avec la lame fixée sur la base et tournez sur la position ‘lock’ (verrouiller).
• Mettez la nourriture ou le fruit cuit à la vapeur dans le bol . Si nécessaire, ajoutez des ingrédients
supplémentaires pour mixer (ex : de l’eau ou de l’huile).
• Mettez le couvercle sur le bol du mixeur et tournez sur la position ‘lock’ (verrouiller).
• Tournez le bouton de commande sur la position mixer . Tenez le bouton dans cette position jusqu’à ce
que la nourriture soit bien mixée.
• Après avoir terminé de mixer, simplement relâchez le bouton de commande . Le bouton revient
automatiquement sur la position ‘off’ (Arrêt) .
• Débranchez l’appareil
• Retirez la nourriture mixée du bol. Utilisez une spatule si nécessaire. Veillez à ce que la température de la
nourriture du bébé soit sans risque pour votre bébé.

AVERTISSEMENT
