•Handlefuelcarefully.Wipeupanyspills.

controllevertoneutral(N),raisethecuttingunits
andwaitforthereelstostopspinning.Setthe
parkingbrake.Stoptheengineandremovethekey
fromtheignitionswitch.
•Traverseslopescarefully.Donotstartorstop
suddenlywhentravelinguphillordownhill.
•Theoperatormustbeskilledandtrainedinhowto
driveonhillsides.Failuretousecautiononslopesor
hillsmaycauselossofcontrolandcausethemachine
totiporroll,possiblyresultinginpersonalinjury

•Iftheenginestallsorlosesheadwayandcannotmake
ittothetopofaslope,donotturnthemachine
around.Alwaysbackslowly,straightdowntheslope.
•Whenapersonorpetappearsunexpectedlyinor
nearthemowingarea,stopmowing.Careless
operation,combinedwithterrainangles,ricochets,
orimproperlypositionedguardscanleadtothrown
objectinjuries.Donotresumemowinguntilthe
areaiscleared.
•IfthemachineisequippedwithanoptionalROPS
(RollOverProtectionSystem),alwaysusetheseat
beltwhenoperatingthemachine.
•Beforegettingoffoftheseat,movethefunctional
