Preparations
Turnonyouraudio systemiftheplayerisconnectedtoan
audiosystem.
BasicPlay
1.Press the ON/STANDBYbutton.
2.PressOPEN/CLOSE ( )toopen the disc tray..
3.Placeadiscontothetray.
Hold thedisc withouttouching eitherofitssurfaces,position
it withtheprintedtitlesidefacing up, align it withtheguides
andplaceit initsproperposition.
4.Press OPEN/CLOSE ( ).
Thedisctrayclosesandplaycommencesifthe discdoes
not haveanymenusrecordedonit.
Amenu mayappearonthe TVscreenafterafewmoments
orthefilmmaystartimmediately.Thisbehaviourdepends
onthedisc content and maychange.

•Steps5and 6areavailableonlywhenamenu isrecorded
onthedisc.
5.Press 3/4/6/5orthenumberbutton(s)toselectthe
preferred title.
6.PressENTER.
Playbackofthe selecteditemnowstarts.Theplayed item
maybe amotionpicture, astill pictureoranothersubmenu
depending onthedisc.

•Whenusing menus, thedisc controlsthebehaviourofthe

•Forstopping playand returning tothemenu screen(when

Afteroperation
Whenthe unit isnot inuse, removethedisc and press ON/
STANDBYtoturntheunittostandbymode.

• The disc continuestorotatewhile themenuisdisplayed
evenafterthe playerhasfinished playing aparticularitem.
Whennofurtherselectionsaretobeplayed,besureto
pressthe STOP(<)buttontoclearthemenudisplay.
• Ifthe disc isplaced upsidedown(and it isasingle sided
disc), TVscreenwill displayeither“NODISC”or“DISC
ERROR”.

Stopping Play
Tostoptheplaypermanently,pressSTOP(<)twice.
WhentheSTOP(<)buttonispressedonce,amessage

remind youifyouwant tocontinuetheplay.Tostoptheplay,
pressthe STOP(<)buttonagainoryoucanpressPLAY/
PAUSEtocontinueplayback.
FastForward / Reverse
PressFWD 8 orREV 7 on the remotecontrolduring
playback.
The speedofforwardorreversechangesforevery
pressofthe FWD 8 orREV 7button.
Normal playisresumed whenthePLAY/PAUSE orENTER
buttonsarepressed.
Skip Forward / Backward
Press SKIP/STEP:orSKIP 9.
Achapterisskippedforwardorbackwardeachtimethe
buttonispressed.
Pause
PressPLAY/PAUSE duringplayback.
