•Thank you for purchasing this Toshiba wall mounting.
For correct use, please read this manual carefully.
This wall mounting is designed exclusively for a Toshiba LCD color TV.
Before use of this wall mounting, please confirm the model of the LCD color TV applicable or not (see page 13).
Special skill and knowledge are required for the wall mounting. Please ask qualified
installers for installation.

For safety of the user, please make sure the installation area has enough strength to bear the weight of TV
display and wall mounting (*1), and strengthen the wall as per the need before the installation.
The installation must be done by two persons at least.
Please make sure no screw or part disassembled is missed.
Please consult thoroughly with the user before the application, and start the operation upon the agreement of
the user.
Once the application is finished, please check and make sure it has been installed safely and correctly, and then
hand this operation manual of wall mounting to the user.
*1About the wall structure and material to fix the wall mounting

The table below shows examples of fixing methods wall materials. Please choose safer and more reliable
fixing method confirming the structure and strength of actual installation area.
Fixing bolt/screw applicable to various wall materials
•A crucial screwdriver with a handle length of 300mm or longer is required for the installation. Please prepare it beforehand.

◆Notice for LCD color TV users
■Please ask qualified installers to install or move the equipment to or
from the wall.
The application defect could result in injury.
If the equipment has to be dismantled for scrapping, etc. please also ask qualified installers
to do it.
Please contact the dealer for extension or modification of cable wiring.
■Check the installation condition once a month for any toppling or shake.
The TV may topple if it is continuously used after the abnormality occurs, resulting in death,
injury, or TV or floor damage.
Once the abnormality occurs, please contact the dealer for the check and repair.
■Do not swing under the TV, wall mounting, nor climb or lean on it.
Otherwise, it may fall, overturn or be damaged, resulting in injury.
The family with children in particular should pay full attention to it.
■Do not hang or place anything on wall mounting or TV.
Otherwise the object placed or the TV may fall and cause death or injury.
■Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the wall mounting on
your own.
Otherwise the wall mounting may fall and cause injury.
Please contact the dealer for repair, if necessary.
■Do not allow the wall mounting to clip electrical wire or other connections.
Otherwise the electrical wire may be damaged and cause shock or fire.
■Do not get into or walk through under the TV.
If you take a rest under the TV, you may be killed or hurt in the event of the fall of the equipment.
If you stand up under the TV or walk through nearby, make sure not to bump your head
or face.

◆Notice for installers
■ Reinforce the installation area (wall) to make sure it is capable of bearing
the weight including the TV and resistant to impact of earthquake or shock.
Otherwise the TV may fall and cause death, injury or floor damage.
Please do the reinforcement if necessary. As for the total weight, please refer to the relevant specification.
■TV installation should be done by at least two persons upon confirmation
of the safety.
Improper operation may lead to fall of the TV, resulting in death, injury, TV or floor damage etc.
■When moving the TV
•
Pull out the plug, antenna, connection cable between equipments and phone line.
•
Should be operated by two persons at least, keep the TV in upright position. Do not allow
display panel upwards or downwards when moving the TV.
•
Handle carefully when moving and placing, and avoid the strike to the TV.
The neglect of these instructions may break the electric wire, and may cause fire, shock, fall
down, TV damage, even lead to injury.
■Do not fix the wall mounting to a wall out of the vertical
Otherwise the TV may fall, cause death, injury, damage of TV or floor.
And, ventilation of the TV may turn worse, cause inner heating, resulting in fire.
■Do not install at places where may be splashed, such as outdoor
or bathroom.
Otherwise it may cause fire or shock.
■Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify TV or wall mounting on
your own.
High voltage exists inside the TV, which may cause shock or fire.
Fall of the wall mounting may cause injury.
If the check, adjustment or repair inside the TV is required, please contact the dealer.
■Do not install in vibrant places
Vibration may lead to TV moving or toppling, resulting in injury.
■It is designed exclusively for a Toshiba LCD TV. Do not use it elsewhere.

Notice for Safety contiuned
■Tighten all screws properly at the TV bracket.
If the installation is improper, the TV may fall, resulting in death, injury, TV or floor damage etc.
Use of other screws may cause installation defect.
■Please choose proper wall mounting screws and fixing bolts in
accordance with the installation places.
Use of improper products may cause fall of the TV, leading to death, injury, TV or floor damage etc.
•No wall mounting screws and fixing bolts are supplied along with the product.
■Do not allow the wall mounting clip electric wire or other
connections.
Otherwise it may damage the electric wire, causing shock or fire.
■ Once the installation is finished, make sure it is capable of bearing the weight
for a long duration, and then hand this operation manual to the user.
Improper installation may cause fall of the TV, leading to death, injury, TV or floor damage etc.
■Do not block the LCD color TV ventilation holes on the top of the screen.
If these holes are blocked heat will gather inside the TV causing a fire.
•Leave a space of about 10cm around the equipment body.
•Do not install at the places with poor ventilation.
•Do not install at places with curtains.
■Do not install at places with high temperature
Installation under direct sunshine, near stove or vent of air conditioner may cause heating or
electric shock.
It may also cause case distortion, screen discoloration, damage, deterioration or damage of
other parts, resulting in shock.
■Do not install at humid , sooty, or dusty place.
Installation near a humidifier, stove or heavy dust may lead to heating or shock.

Preparation before installation-1.
(LCD TV with stand type)
Caution
•LCD TV must be kept in vertical position when remove the stand.
•Please read this LCD TV operation manual.
•Before operation, please make sure all the parts in parts list are included on page 12.
•Pull out the power plug from the socket, then pull out cable which is used for the connection of antenna and
external equipments.
•Please use cloth and plastic film to prevent the cable damage during installation. Meanwhile, please be careful during
operation.
•Please store the removed stand carefully.
•Please put a soft blanket or alike on a flat place, in order to prevent the damage of the LCD TV screen.
•Please follow the steps below to remove the base of the LCD color TV.
(1) Pull out all connections.
(2) Remove 4 fixing screws.
(3) Please raise LCD TV screen vertically to remove stand.
※Please store the fixing screws in step (2)
and stand in step (3) carefully.
(4) Please put a soft blanket or alike on a flat place,
in order to prevent the damage of the LCD TV screen.

1Please take out the LCD color TV body and stand parts packed from the LCD TV case.
2To prevent damage of the screen, please put a blanket or alike on a flat place and put the LCD color TV with the
screen side facing down.

Assembling and Installation
(The operation must be done by qualified installers)
•Before the operation, make sure all components and parts listed in the addendum are included.
1Attach the TV Fix bracket to LCD TV with supplied screws.
2Secure the connection fittings to the wall brackets.
1. To prevent damage of the screen, put a blanket or alike on a flat place in advance. Then place the LCD color
TV with the screen side facing down.
2. Please install after confirming the relation of the TV Fix bracket screw holes and fixing screws in Table 1.
3. Please tighten the screw.
*Attach the connection fittings to the wall mountings using four fixing screws (M5 ×8) supplied.
\The UP markings on the wall brackets should be kept upside. Attach the connection fittings to the wall brackets with the
marks kept upside.
\Two installation positions are available for the wall brackets.
*The wall brackets positions should be decided according to the positions of the fixing screws located on the back of the
LCD color TV.

3Install the wall-mounting metal fixture on the wall.
4Wiring of the LCD TV
•Please refer to the operation manual of the LCD TV for the connection of antenna and external equipment.
•When the wiring is finished, please put on the wiring cover (top and bottom) dismantled in preparation before
the installation.

※If the extension or change of the connection is required, please contact the dealer or ask the qualified
installers to do it.

(1) Put the “UP” sign of the wall mounting upwards.
(2) Secure the bracket with market available mounting bolts or screws, make sure that it can bear sufficient
weight.
Fix mounting bolts and screws firmly at a consolidated place.
(Choose proper mounting bolts or screws in accordance with the wall structure and material).
•Please refer to the table on page 2 to choose a safer and securer installation method in accordance
with the condition of the installation position.

*The operation must be done by two persons or more.
5Attach the LCD color TV on the wall brackets assembly.
(1) Hang the upper protruding portions of the TV fix brackets on the notches on the upper side of the wall
brackets.
(2) Lift the LCD color TV slightly and insert the lower notches of the TV fix brackets to the openings of the wall
brackets.
(3) Secure the LCD color TV on the wall brackets assembly.
*Fix the LCD color TV and the wall brackets assembly from both sides by using two screws (M5 ×12)
supplied.

Disassembly
(The operation must be done by qualified personals)
*The operations must be done by more than two persons.
Remove the TV from the wall mounting
1Pull out the power plug from the socket.
2 Ascertain in advance the place to put the TV to be dismantled, lay the soft articles such as carpet on the flat place
to avoid the damage of the LCD color TV.
3Take down the connected antenna or soft wires on the wall. Besides, other antenna or soft wire which may be
unable to reach the TV place should also be pulled out from the antenna terminal or external equipment.
●Please take full care during the operation to avoid damage of the soft wire etc.
4Loosen the fixing screws of the wall mounting.
5 Lift the LCD color TV slightly and release the lower protruding portions of the TV fix brackets from the openings of
the wall brackets. “ ”
6 Lift the LCD color TV furthermore and release the upper protruding portions of the TV fix brackets from the
notches of the wall brackets. “ ”
7 After releasing from the wall brackets, move the LCD color TV carefully and place it on the blankets, etc.

Change and extension of connections
●If the extension and change of the connection is required
after the installation, please consult the dealer or ask the
qualified installers to do it.

Before extending and changing the connections, remove the TV from the wall mounting first.
*The operations must be done by more than two persons.
Extension and change of connections of the TV
1 Remove the LCD color TV from the wall mounting in accordance with disassembly step (see page 11).
2 Dismantle the wiring cover, extend and change the connections with reference to the operation manual of the
LCD color TV, After the extension and change of connections, please attach the wiring cover to the LCD color TV.
3 Secure the LCD color TV to the wall mounting in accordance with item 5 of Assembling and Installation (see page
10).

Disassemble the stand
When this product is used on LCD color TV, first remove the stand attached to the TV body by the following steps, then
