3USINGYOURAPPLIANCE
Beforerstuse:
1. Remove your boiling rings from the
packaging.
2. Before using your boiling rings for the rst
time, turn both boiling rings to the highest
setting for 3 to 5 minutes to condition the
protective coating. This should be the only
time the boiling rings are turned on without
using any cookware placed on the surface.
3. Your boiling rings are now ready for normal
use.
4. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible
manner.
TemperatureSettings:
Min: For simmering delicate foods, thickening
sauces and slow cooking
Med: For simmering large quantities and
shallow frying
Max: Rapid heating and boiling
Cookware:
The Infrared boiling rings are suitable for all
cookware.
• For the most ecient use of the boiling
rings, the cookware used should be with
a solid base and be as even as possible,
and with a diameter of about 18mm to
20mm, and a maximum quantity of 12
litres.
• Cookware with a base diameter smaller
than the diameter of the hotplate should
not be used.
• Cookware with convex, concave or
uneven bottoms should not be used.
4CLEANING&CARE
Allow 30 minutes after use for the boiling ring to
cool before cleaning.
It is important that you follow the cleaning
instructions soon after use to prevent a build-up
of food on the appliance.
• Disconnect the mains plug of the boiling
rings from the mains supply when not in
use.
• Do not immerse the boiling rings in any
liquid.
• Clean the dirty surface with a soft, damp
cloth and mild detergent.
• Cooking spills on the boiling rings can be
removed with a household cleaner.
• Commercially available boiling ring
cleaners are recommended to preserve
the natural nish of your appliance.
• Store the boiling ring after it has cooled
down.
Storage
To store your appliance:
• When not in use, store the boiling rings in
a safe, dry place, out of reach of children.
