1-1.Hom e Screen
When the power switch is turned to ACC or ON, the initial screen will be
displayed and the system will begin operating. After a few seconds, the
caution screen will be displayed. By selecting “Accept” or after 5 seconds,
the HOME screen will be displayed.
The HOME screen provides an overview of the current system status and
provides access to various functions

Privacy mode settings allows to dis-
able any sharing of personal data.
Some functions might be unavail-
able when privacy mode is
enabled. Privacy mode setting can
be adjusted from the services.

■Connectivity Status
The system requires connectivity to
use various functions such as navi-
gation, services and software
updates. A dedicated mobile net-
work connection is foreseen. As
alternative, Wi-Fi can be used. The
connectivity icon indicates current
connection status of the system.

Basic Operation
■Phone Reception Level
The level of reception may differ
from the level displayed on the
phone. The level of reception may
not be displayed depending on the
connected device. “R” is displayed
in the icon when the phone is in
roaming condition.
■Remaining Battery Charge
When a phone is connected via
Bluetooth®, the remaining battery
charge is displayed. The amount
displayed may differ from the
amount displayed on the connected
device. The amount of battery
charge left may not be displayed
depending on the type of the device
connected.

Operation of the Multimedia system can be performed using the side but-
tons , , , using the touchscreen or the control buttons on the
steering wheel.

the Multimedia System. Permissible touch gestures can vary based on the
active screen.
