Thank you for choosing the TR1650 incl. MHS-2800 Lift weighing kit from Charder Electronic for the TR9650.
This manual shall, in conjunction with staff training, ensure that the operator/user is always using and/or operating
the TR1650 incl. MHS-2800 Lift weighing kit correctly.
TR requires that each user has read and understands the entire manual and that they can apply the instructions as specied.
This applies to anyone who was not present at the in-service.
This instruction manual should generally be kept easily accessible for every user. Copying the whole manual is
encouraged since its sole purpose is to improve the standard of training and safety.
Please order another copy from us if the instruction manual is lost or unusable, or if it has become illegible over time.

Intended Use, Product Description and Technical Specications
Intended use:
TR1650 including MHS-2800 Lift weighing kit ts all TR9650
Mod.12 lifts.
The device lets you maintain regular patients weight records
with no increase in staff workload or time, no added stress or
inconvenience for patients. This accurate, easy to use scale
gives you even greater productivity from your patient transfer
system and the people who operate it.
The patient is typically a person who is unable to take care of
their own personal hygiene.
The device is not intended to be used with patients that
exceed a weight of 150 kg.
The user is any adult person who is capable of reading and
understanding the operating manual and is qualied to care
for dependent persons/patients.
Before using the device, the user must read and understand
this manual. The device is intended to be used indoors in all
types of care facilities and private homes, including hygiene
areas.

-Please observe that all test results men-
tioned in enclosed User Manual and protocols
are valid only for the Lift weighing kit MHS-
2800.
-The results are not valid for the TR1650
including the MHS-2800 Lift weighing kit
mounted onto the TR9650 Mobile bath lift.
-Please note that all functions and acces-
sories in enclosed Charder manual are not
applicable for the TR1650 including the
MHS-2800 Lift weighing kit.

Safety and Control Instructions
If you have a question regarding the operation or maintenance of your TR1650 scale with Lift weighing kit MHS-2800 and
cannot nd the answer in this manual contact your TR representative.
• Only qualied staff, who understand all operating and safety procedures may operate the device.
• This device is designed for indoor use only.
• All castors must be securley locked before transferring the customer onto the lift for weighing.
• The TR9650 lift shall always be placed on a hard and at surface.
• For accurate weighing result the patient must be placed in the middle of the chair or stretcher.
• When weighing the patient, do not let the patient sit on the stretcher side parts.
• When weighing the patient, do not touch the patient, chair or stretcher. It will affect the weighing result.
• The patients feet can not be in contact with the oor or the legs of the lift during the weighing procedure. It will affect the
result.
• Never leave the patient unattended.
• Keep the AA batteries away from children.

How to mount the scale onto the lift:
1. Remove the seat by loosen the nut behind the seat.
2. Before you can lift the scale over the column, loosen the lower metal cover by unscrewing the four screws on the sides
(two screws on each side of the cover).
3. Gently lift the scale over the column.
4. Place the guide pin (A) on the into the hole on the Lifts auto stop mechanism. Tilt the seat to make it t on the M10 bolt
(B) on the autostop mechanism.
5. Attach enclosed M10 washer and nut on the bolt to fasten the scale.
6. Fasten the lower metal cover again by fasten the four screws on the sides (two screws on each side of the cover).
Now you can mount the seat back onto the lift.

How to replace the batteries:

1. Unscrew the four screws holding the display.
2. Remove the display from the cover.
3. Loosen the screws on the rear bracket.
4. Open the battery hatch and remove the battery pack.
- Replace the batteries.
Recycling:
Always deposit replaced batteries in accordance with local requlations

How to use the scale
Switching ON:
- Press (no.1 on display)
- For a few seconds a start-up screen will be shown
- When the display shows 0.0kg you can start using the scale
Switching OFF:
- Press and hold (no.1 on display) for 3 seconds and the display will be switched OFF.
Zero the scale:
- Press (no.1 on display) while scale is ON to zeroing the scale.
The Zero indication (no.7 on display) will be shown in the display. If 0,0kg and the Zero indication is
allready shown on the display you don´t have to Zero the scale.
Weighing the patient:
- Place the lift on a hard and at surface, lock all castors on the lift.
- Start the display and wait until 0,0kg and the stability sign is shown on the display before placing the
patient onto the lift.
- Wait until the stability sign is shown and read the weighing result.
Bed transfer:
- If a patient must be moved from the bed onto the stretcher, place the stretcher just beside the bed and
lock all castors. The stretcher can not be i contact with the bed.
- Start the display and wait until 0,0kg and the stability sign is shown on the display before placing the
patient onto the lift.
Important:
- Before using the scale make sure you have read and understood our safety and control instructions.
See table of content.
- Always place the lift on hard and even surface. A thick and soft surface will affect the weighing result.
- When weighing the patient, don´t touch the patient or lift.
It will affect the weighing result.
- The feets can not be in contact with the oor or the legs of the lift.
It will affect the weighing result
- For an accurate weighing result the patient must sit in the middle of the seat.
If you have a strecther or a Combi lift, Never sit on the side parts.

Routine Maintenance
Warning:
DO NOT use large amounts of water when cleaning the scale.
This can damage the scale electronics.
DO NOT use corrosive liquids or high pressure washers.
Deposit:
• Deposit the scale, circuit board, batteries and cover in
accordance with local requirements.
Batteries:
• When starting the display, check the power status of
the batteries. The battery symbol is shown in the lower
left corner. If the status is low, replace the batteries.
• When the power from the batteries is too low the
warning “LO” will be shown in the display.
Cleaning:
Use alcoholic wipes or similar to clean the display.
