1.0 Introducon
1.1 Welcome
Welcome to Tracmaster and thank you for choosing ARTIO.
We are condent that you will be more than happy with your product.
Your Wheel Barrow is covered by a comprehensive warranty. However, the lifespan
of your ARTIO Wheel Barrow depends on a number of factors. It is important that
you read this manual carefully and follow the instrucons regarding operaon,
maintenance, and care.
1.2 About This Manual
It is crucial that you read this manual carefully and understand it. Reading and
understanding this manual should prevent you from operang the WB227
incorrectly and so extend the life of the machine.
This manual also contains important safety informaon about your machine. You
must observe all safety instrucons at all mes. ARTIO machines are oen updated
and improved so models may vary due to dierences in specicaons.
Any illustraon, descripon, specicaon, and technical data in this manual is
correct at the me of prinng.

2.0 What the Machine is Designed For
2.1 Applicaons
The ARTIO Wheel Barrow has been designed by Tracmaster for carrying bulky items
such as logs, bags of compost, soil and garden waste up to a maximum weight of
125kg.
DO NOT use the ARTIO Wheel Barrow for transporng people or animals.
DO NOT use the ARTIO Wheel Barrow to transport heavy loads or objects weighing
more than 125kg.
DO NOT use the ARTIO Wheel Barrow on slopes of more than 5 degrees.
DO NOT use this implement before reading this manual.
DO NOT allow persons under the age of 16 to operate this implement.
DO NOT operate without correct safety clothing/footwear.
DO NOT allow any person other than the operator to stand near the implement
when working.
DO NOT allow people in and around the working area.
DO NOT allow animals in and around the working area.
DO NOT stand on any guards.
DO NOT make any adjustments with the engine running.
DO make sure all guards are in place.
DO obey safety details.
DO make sure machine is switched o before making any adjustments or pping
the Wheel Barrow.
DO make sure the Wheel Barrow body is locked in the down posion before loading
or driving.
DO make sure equipment is in a safe condion.
DO make sure equipment is regularly checked for wear or damage.

4.2 UnpackingInstrucons
The WB227 Wheel Barrow is usually delivered on a pallet and covered with pallet
wrap.
Carefully remove any outer packaging.
Dispose of any packing material. Please reuse or recycle where possible.

4.3 AssemblyInstrucons
1. Remove the cross secon from its transport
posion.
2. Using a 13mm spanner remove one bolt from
the frame connector and place to one side, then
remove the frame connector and place to one
side. (Figs. 1 & 2)
3. Locate the cross secon into its working posion.
(Fig. 3)
4. Reinstall the frame connector removed in step
three, ensure it passes through the cross secon
and base supports correctly (Fig. 4) and fully
ghten.
5. Remove any straps or cable es securing the
Wheel Barrow to its pallet.
6. Locate and remove any cable es or straps that
secure the Wheel Barrow to the pallet.
7. Push the machine forward safely and gently o
the pallet.

5.0 Preparing for Use
5.1 AachingtothePowerUnit
The ARTIO WB227 Wheel Barrow will need to be aached to the power unit. This
is achieved as follows.
BCS 738 - BCS 740 - BCS 618 - BCS 630 - BCS 630WS
To aach the Wheel Barrow directly to the power unit, couple the implement to the
machine PTO and make sure the nuts are ghtened securely.
If the Implement Quick Coupling Assembly is being used then simply move the
locking pin lever to raise the pin, then slide the male (blank) coupler (ed to the
Wheel Barrow) into the female coupler (ed to the power unit) unl the sloed
hole lines up with the locking pin. Once the couplers are lined up in the correct
posion, release the locking lever to secure the two couplers together (Figs. 5 & 6).
BCS 750 - BCS 660HY
The Wheel Barrow is mounted directly to the machine coupler (Fig 7,A) by aaching
the coupler (Fig 8,C) that is xed to the implement.
To t and remove the Wheel Barrow simply rotate the knob (Fig 3,R). The device
is locked by turning the knob clockwise and unlocked by turning the knob an-
clockwise. It is important that nuts (Fig 8,D) are well ghtened.

7.0 OperangtheWheelBarrow
IMPORTANT:Alwaysreadallseparateinstruconmanualssuppliedwiththe
power unit before use, to ensure you are familiar with the machine’s controls.
7.1 Transporng
When transporng the Wheel Barrow aached to power unit be careful not to
strike objects, people, animals, walls, gates etc during transportaon as injury or
damage could result.
Never transport the Wheel Barrow without the body being in its locked, down
posion.
Select a suitable speed gear and proceed with cauon.
NB: ENSURE THE PTO LEVER IS NOT ENGAGED ON YOUR POWER UNIT. DO NOT
ENGAGE THE PTO LEVER DURING TRANSPORTATION.
To transport the Wheel Barrow in a vehicle or trailer, ensure the Wheel Barrow
is placed on a rm at surface and is suitably secured using ratchet straps or
equivalent securing devices. If the Wheel Barrow is not suitably restrained it could
cause damage or injury.
7.2 Working the WB227 Wheel Barrow
Ensure the working area is clear of people.
Ensure that during the operaon of the Wheel Barrow people and animals cannot
enter the working area.
Before moving o ensure the body is locked in
its down posion (Fig. 9).
Follow the instrucons for your two-wheel
tractor to engage the wheel drive and do not
engage the PTO. Always select a wheel speed
that allows full control of the two wheeled
tractor and the Wheel Barrow.
If the Wheel Barrow is used on uneven surfaces care must be taken as the Wheel
Barrow could cause the two wheeled tractor to p over.
Heavy loads must always be evenly distributed or secured in the Wheel Barrow. If
a heavy load is not evenly distributed or secured then it could result in instability.
7.3 Stopping the WB227 Wheel Barrow
The WB227 Wheel Barrow is controlled via your two-wheel tractor power unit. To
stop the machine, follow the standard operang procedures to stop the wheel drive
and power take o drive as instructed in your two-wheel tractor manual.

7.4 Tipping the Wheel Barrow
Stop the two wheeled tractor on a rm at
surface, switch the engine o and apply the
brake.
If your two wheeled tractor does not have a
brake select 1st gear and ensure the engine is
switched o.
Pull the release latch located on the cross
secon fully towards the machine (Fig. 10), now
twist the release latch 90 degrees clockwise or
anclockwise to lock it into its retracted posion
(Figs. 11 & 12).
Taking care now manually p the Wheel Barrow
body forwards.
Reverse this procedure to place the Wheel
Barrow body back into its locked, down posion
(Fig. 13).

8.0 Maintenance
8.1 Regular Maintenance Checks
Always clean the Wheel Barrow aer use.
Remove any wire, string, plasc neng etc from the wheels.
Check the Wheel Barrow for damage aer every use to prevent component failure
or personal injury.
Check ghtness security of nut and bolts periodically.
Check the condion and pressure of the tyres before use.
8.2 Storage
Always store Wheel Barrow in a clean, dry place.
Always clean the machine and dry thoroughly prior to storage and ensure all
lubricaon points have been re-greased.
8.3 Handling
Do not aempt to li the Wheel Barrow alone. At least two people is the minimum
required.
Gloves should be worn when liing the WB227 Wheel Barrow.
When performing maintenance on the WB227 Wheel Barrow, if it is situated on a
work bench, ensure that the machine is rmly held in posion at all mes.

9.0 Warranty
9.1 CondionsofWarranty
Tracmaster Ltd guarantees all equipment supplied by them against any defect in
The Warranty applies to any part of the machine, except the engine, which presents
manufacturing or assembly defects in the opinion of Tracmaster Ltd.
The Warranty covers the original purchaser of the machine from the date of sale for
the warranty period. The Warranty is non-transferable.
The warranty period begins the day the machine is delivered to the customer and is
valid for the following periods:
• For domesc or private use: 3 years
• For commercial and hire use: 2 years
Tracmaster Ltd will replace or repair, at their discreon, free of charge, any such
defecve material providing the machine is returned to their workshops or an
Authorised Tracmaster Dealer (contact us or see www.tracmaster.co.uk).
Should the owner of the machine wish to install the parts themselves then the
labour involved will be at their cost and will not be reimbursed. Expenses arising
from any subsequent failure of any part due to incorrect assembly by the owner of
the machine shall be borne by the owner of the machine.
To validate warranty the Warranty Registraon Card must be completed and
returned, or complete the form online at www.tracmaster.co.uk/pages/warranty-
registraon-form.
The Warranty does not cover any transport costs, or direct or indirect losses
owing to loss of use of the machine as a consequence of manufacturing defects or
mechanical failure.
No Warranty shall be acknowledged in the following instances:
• The failure is caused by non-compliance of Tracmaster’s direcons for the
correct use and operaon of the machine.
• Seals and sengs have been tampered with.
• Repair or modicaon has not authorised by Tracmaster Ltd.
• Roune maintenance, as advised in this manual, has not been undertaken.
• Incorrect fuels or lubricants have been used.
• Wear to consumable items such as blades, nes, belts, cables, tyres etc.
• Normal wear and tear.
• The failure is due to abuse / misuse / neglect.

for the engine. The engines are warranted according to the pracces set by their
respecve manufacturers and distributors.
If an issue develops with the machine, within the warranty period, the problem
must be vered by Tracmaster or an Authorised Tracmaster Dealer before any
repair is undertaken.
Any other express or implied warranty is cancelled and substuted by this Warranty,
whose clauses can be modied in wring only.
This Warranty provides specic legal rights and is in addion to any statutory rights.
Your statutory rights are not aected by this Warranty.
