6)Power Cord Protection–Powersupplycordsshouldberoutedsothattheyarenotlikely

7) Fuses-Forcontinuedprotectionagainstrehazard,replacefuseswiththesametypeand
ratingofthefusesspecied.Whenchangingfuses,completelyunplugtheACcordfromthe

mentsshouldbeavoided.
2) Heat.Theproductshouldbesituatedawayfromheatsourcessuchasradiators,heatregis-
ters,stovesorotherappliancesthatproduceheat.Alsoavoidputtingtheunitinthedirectrays
ofthesun.
3)Forindooruseonly.
PLACEMENT
1) Accessibility.Itisnormalforanaudiodevicetorunwarmifusedforprolongedperiods.
Alwaysplaceyourdeviceawayfromchildrenandpetstopreventburns.
2) Surface.Placetheunitonaatlevelsurface.Careshouldbetakentopreventobjectsfrom

MAINTENANCE

isticsastheoriginalpart.Unauthorizedsubstitutionsmayresultinre,electricshockorother
hazards.
2) Modications.Modicationstotheamplierarestronglydiscouraged.Theunitwasde-
signedbyexperiencedengineersandtestedforsafeandreliableoperation.Anymodication
mayposessafetyriskandresultinreducedlifetimeoftheproduct.Anyremovalofthecover
willvoidwarranty.

PREPARATION FOR USE
01)Placeyourpreamplieronaat,stablesurface.
02) Power switch,locatedontheleftsideoftheunitshouldbeintheOFF position.
03)Makesurethatthevoltage selector switch(locatednexttotheACinlet)isproperlysetfor
thelinevoltageinyourcountry.
04) Plug in the power cord.
05) Connect LINE OUToftheEvolutionPhonoOnetoline inputs of your preamplier or
integratedamplier.Makesurethatvolumecontrolissettominimum.
06)Connect your turntable to the MM or MC input,dependingonyourcartridgetype.
07)Ifthetonearmcomeswiththegroundingwire, connect the wire to the groundingplug
(GND)ontherearpanelofthephonopreamplier.
08)Byusingthefrontpanelinputselectorswitch,select the cartridge type,MMorMC.
09)Byusingtheimpedanceselectorswitch,select the loading impedance,asrecommended
byyourcartridgemanufacturer.
10) Turn on the Evolution Phono Oneandyourpreamplierorintegratedamplier
