TFX Winch Wireless Remote
Receiver & Battery changing instructions

STEP 3: Remove the White Connector.
STEP 1: Unscrew six screws beneath the Housing.
STEP 2: Open the Housing.
STEP 4: Remove the Receiver by pulling it upwards.
STEP 5: Connect the New Receiver with the white connector
shown in the picture above.
ADHESIVE TAPE
STEP 6: Stick the New Receiver using the Adhesive Tape
provided in the bottom side of the Receiver, And fix the
housing.

APPLICABLE FOR TFX WINCH LOT NUMBER BEFORE: “2015 - 09”

STEP 7: Fix the Remote cover back in to its position
& assemble with the screws.
STEP 1: Remove the screws & dismantle Remote cover.
STEP 3: For Changing Remote Operation Battery,
remove the “In & Out Switch”
from bigger PCBA by
pulling it.
STEP 4: Slightly bend the small PCBA located above A23
12V Battery (Golden Color) for easy access to Battery.
STEP 5: Remove the A23 12V Battery (Golden Color) &
Replace with a new one.
STEP 2: Remove the CR2 3V 900 mAh Battery (Blue Color) &
Replace with a new one. This battery is not directly related to
the Remote Operation & this need to be changed only when
the LED light is not working.
STEP 6: Bend the same PCBA back to its original position
& fix “In & Out Switch”.

STEP 3: For Changing Remote operation Battery, remove
the “In & Out Switch” from bigger PCBA by pulling it
upwards.
STEP 4: Remove the TOP PCBA from the remote housing.
STEP 2: Remove the CR2 3V 900 mAh Battery (Blue Color)
& Replace with a new one. This battery is not directly related
to the Remote Operation & this need to be changed only
when the LED light is not working.
STEP 7: Fix the Remote cover back in to its position
& assemble with the screws.

STEP 1: Remove the screws & dismantle Remote cover.
STEP 5: Remove the Bottom PCBA from the remote
housing. Then change the Two CR2023 (6V) Batteries with
new ones.
CR2032 6V BATTERY
STEP 6: Place both the PCBAs back to its original position &

“in & Out Switch”
