•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• The temperature of accessible surfaces can be high when
the appliance is in according to the symbol on the glass
ceramic table.
• When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed,
including the following:
• Read all instructions.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the control panel.
• To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs, in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or
taking off parts.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause injuries.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot
liquids.
• To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Do Not Cook on Broken Cook-Top – If cook-top should break, cleaning solutions and
spillovers may penetrate the broken cook-top and create a risk of electric shock.
• Clean Cook-Top with Caution – If a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe spills on a hot
cooking area, be careful to avoid steam burn, some cleaners can produce noxious fumes
if applied to a hot surface
• Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids on the Table Stove
since they can get hot.
• If the product has dropped marks or damage to the packaging, the device should not be
used, as it may not be safe for the user.
• After unpacking the product, keep the packaging material out of the reach of children.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Do not use the product on an unstable and / or heated surface.
• Oils and fats splashing on the glass ceramic table can ignite.
• Do not use the glass ceramic table as a work surface or to place objects.
• Do not store objects over the heating area.
• Always leave the handle of the pans in a safe place, avoiding accidental bumps.
• Do not use the cooktop in places where there may be splashes of water, oil, near or under
curtains, flammable materials and inside cabinets.
• Avoid spilling water or any liquid on the glass ceramic surface.
• Do not use the cooktop with empty containers, as it may overheat and damage the
container and glass ceramic surface (not covered by the warranty).
• Make sure that heavy or sharp metal objects do not fall on the surface glass ceramic, as
it may crack.
• The cooktop must be handled with care, as the support feet have fragile sensors that can
be damaged in the event of a product fall or mishandling.
• In the center of the cooktop heating area, there is a temperature sensor. Avoid objects
sharp or cutting objects fall on this piece, as it is fragile.
• Do not use cast iron pots on the cooktop, as due to their characteristics they can
compromise the performance of the temperature sensor.
• Avoid moving or sliding pans and kitchen utensils across the glass ceramic table on the
cooktop, as cause scratches on the surface, changing the appearance of the product, and
can damage the temperature sensor located in the center of the heating area. Damaged
pots and utensils unsuitable for cooktop induction can also damage/scratch the product.
The formation of scratches can make cleaning difficult and degrade the appearance of
the glass ceramic surface (not covered by the guarantee).
• Do not store flammable products and plastic or metallic objects, on or near the cooktop.
• For reasons of hygiene and safety, your cooktop must always be kept clean.
• Periodically check the state of the electrical installation where the product is installed.
• Do not try to insert any object into the cooktop.
• Do not allow the air inlet and outlet openings on the bottom of the cooktop to be blocked
or obstructed.
• People who use a pacemaker should consult a doctor before using the cooktop by
induction, as a small area around the cooktop in use is charged electromagnetically
and may interfere with the operation of the pacemaker.
• The maximum cooking time for this product is 3 hours. After this period, the Guru will
shut down automatically and issue an alarm (ERR 10 - LONG PERIOD). Allow the product
to cool down before turning it on again.

• Installation is not free, with labor and accessories being paid by the consumer.
• It is the consumer’s sole responsibility to preparation of electrical, mobile and accessories.
• The portable induction cooktop should be placed on a flat and level surface, respecting
the minimum distance of 100 mm around the device (figure 2).
• Do not use the cooktop near sources of heat (gas or electric cooktop/stove, etc.).
• To avoid blocking the air inlets and outlets the cooktop, do not use it on carpets, towels
table or similar, or on paper.
• TRAMONTINA is not responsible for accidents (damage to people, animals, objects, etc.),
ATTENTION!
• The portable induction cooktop must not be built-in.
• Do not use the cooktop with the power cord wrapped around its housing (gure 7).
Only turn on the product after unwinding the cable completely and positioning it so
that it does not stay in contact with the cooktop.

• A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
• Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used
if care is exercised in their use.
• If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
• 1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great
as the electrical rating of the appliance;
• 2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape
over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled
on by children or tripped over unintentionally; and
• 3) If the appliance is of the grounded type, the cord set or
extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to modify the plug in any way.
• Check that the supply voltage indicated on the product
label is the same as your home (127 V or 220-240 V, 50 -
60 Hz).
• Connect the cooktop to a bipolar socket with a 20 A for 120 V or 10 A for 220-240 V, exclusive,
easily accessible, in excellent condition, dimensioned according to the protection circuit.
• Do not use the cooktop if the electrical cable is damaged or the plug is loose.
• Keep the power cord out of reach of children.
• If the cooktop is not going to be used for a long period, disconnect it from the electrical outlet.
• When the cooktop is not in use, wrap the power cord at the bottom of the product, as shown

• Metal objects, such as forks, knives, spoons and lids, should not be placed on the glass
ceramic surface, as they can get hot.
• Always place pans in the center of the heating area, based on the product’s silk screen, to
ensure the best performance of the cooktop.
• Before using the product, make sure that the pans and the heating area are clean and dry.
• Do not use pans with irregular, rounded, wrinkled bottoms, with protruding or rough tips,
because it will increase the cooking time, the consumption of electric energy, will impair
the control of temperature and may also damage the glass ceramic surface and the pin
(not covered by the warranty).
• To use the Recipe Mode, use the cookware provided with the product to obtain the best
cooking performance.
• Prevent plastic objects, aluminum foils and foods containing sugar from falling on
the heating area while it is heated, as these can seriously damage the glass ceramic
surface (not covered by the guarantee).
• This product is equipped with electronic temperature control for the heating area. When
it reaches the selected temperature level, the cooktop switches the heating area off
automatically, but it will start operating again after a few seconds. Therefore, turning the
heating area on and off is perfectly normal.
• When using Manual Mode and Remote Control Mode, select the function or set the
temperature cooking according to the size of the pan or the amount of food. For small
food quantities, use a smaller pan and a lower temperature. For bigger food quantities, use
a larger pan and a higher temperature.
• The cooktop uses a scale during Recipe Mode, so position the power cord of the product
so that it does not touch the glass ceramic table or the base of the product, as it may
influence weighing. The same recommendation is valid when using the scale in Manual
Mode and Remote Control Mode.
• Do not use the glass ceramic table as a work surface, cutting board or for storing objects.
• Do not cover the glass ceramic surface with paper towels, aluminum foil, cloth or any other
utensil.
• After the first use, some white dots may appear at the bottom of the pans, but this is
normal. To remove these marks, put a little vinegar inside the pan, heat the cooktop to
approximately 60 °C, and clean the pan normally with detergent and a sponge.
• Do not move the cooktop with a pan, kettle or other object over the heating area. For remove
the appliance from place, turn it off, remove the container on top of it and disconnect it
from the mains power supply.

• Before making the electrical connection, check that the characteristics of the electrical
installation are according to the information indicated on the product label.
5. Tips for the correct use of the product
ATTENTION!
• Do not place more than 20 kg on the cooktop (total weight of the pan including food/
ingredient).
• The minimum diameter of the pan must be 12 cm and a maximum of 24 cm.

• To use your induction cooktop correctly, it is
necessary that the base of the pans contain
ferromagnetic materials, that is, they must be
stainless steel or triple-bottomed. That’s because
the operation of the induction cooktop is based
on the generation of an electromagnetic field,
generated between the electric coil located below
the glass ceramic surface with the base of the pan.
In this way, the pan heats up almost immediately,
transmitting this heat to the food that is heated with
is heated quickly and with almost zero waste of heat,
as the glass ceramic surface will only heat up in the
region covered by the base of the pan.
• When using glass, aluminum, ceramic or copper
cookware, which at its base do not contain
ferromagnetic materials, the induction cooktop will
not work.
6. Operation of cooktop technology by
induction

• During Recipe Mode, the cooktop receives information
from the Tramontina Guru app and controls its cooking
power to reach the desired result.
• If the user opts for a manual control of the product
(Manual Mode and Remote Control Mode), it is your
responsibility to select the correct temperature for the
desired cooking.
• Do not use cast iron pots on the cooktop, as may
compromise the performance of the temperature.

• On the product’s support feet (figure 6) there are weight sensors that allow weighing of the
food and utensils placed on the glass ceramic table of the cooktop. Therefore, it is possible

• The cooktop weighs the masses placed on it in Pounds
(lbs).
• When using the Recipe Mode, the cooktop receives weight
information from the Tramontina app Guru, indicating the
desired weight percentage for each recipe ingredient at
each stage (visible through application and the cooktop
display). It’s not possible weigh in pounds during cooking
in the Recipe Mode, with only the percentage of the
required quantity of ingredients that was placed by the
user on the product.
8. Functioning of scale technology
• The Tramontina Guru app is available on the Apple AppStore or Google PlayStore. After
installed, the application will give access to recipes specially prepared by Chefs, with
step-by-step instructions - step and demo videos, plus other exclusive features.
• After installing the application, you will be asked to create a login and password. Only after
that will it be possible access the app’s features.
• To change the cooktop display language, it will be necessary to connect it to the application
inthedesiredlanguage.Accessanyrecipeandconnectitwiththecooktop,soitwilldetectthe
application's language and modify the display. After the 1st step of the recipe appears, it can
be closed, as the process of changing the cooktop display language has been completed.
Note: Every time the app is connected to the cooktop, the cooktop detects the app's
language and changes it to the display.
• At the first connection of the application to the cooktop, the cooktop will prompt a
confirmation request for the user. Press “+” to confirm.
Before starting cooking:
• Connect the device where the application is installed to the internet (WiFi or mobile data).
• Turn on your device’s Bluetooth.
• Activate the location of your device and, when requested by the application, grant
permission for it to access location information.
• Turn on the cooktop and, through the application, perform the pairing.
9. Starting the Tramontina Guru app
• The temperature may vary depending on the material of the pan, the temperature of the
food and the environment and the amount of food/liquid.
• There may be a variation in the temperature shown on the cooktop display and the
temperature of the food/liquids/pans, due to factors such as the temperature of the food
and the environment, material of the pan and the amount of food/liquid used.

Manual Mode and Remote Control Mode
• The Manual and Remote Control Modes has 4 equals function (Temperature, Prepare,
Timer and Scale), the only difference is that their command is done through the cooktop
Control panel
The commands of the portable induction cooktop are carried out through the Touch panel
and the application Tramontina Guru.
IMPORTANT!
During the use of the cooktop, it will produce noises that are completely normal, due to
the electronic control of the product. Noises may intensify depending on the condition
of use.
To connect
• When connecting the cooktop to the mains, it will be off. To turn it on, press the “ ” for
a few seconds and the display will light up. The cooktop will be in stand-by until the user
connects it with the application or trigger Manual Mode. If no operation is done for 10
minutes, the cooktop will shut down.
• When pairing the application with the cooktop for the first time, it will be necessary to press
“+” to confirm the action.
• If, during the operation of the cooktop in Manual Mode, the pan is removed from the
heating area,and it is not reset within 30 seconds, the display will show the error “ ”
along with an audible warning (beep) and the cooktop cancels its temperature settings,
requiring a new selection to get back up and running.
• If the pan is removed from the heating area during Recipe Mode, the display will show
the error “ ” together with an audible warning (beep) and an alert will appear in the
application “We have not found your pan”, and the recipe waits until the user replaces the
pan. If you choose to leave the recipe, the cooktop will switch off automatically.
• Once the cooktop is connected to the application, it will no longer be possible to access
Manual Mode through the device’s control panel, only through the application in Remote
Control Mode. If you want to control the cooktop via the display again, turn it off and on
again.
• To switch off the cooktop, press the “ ”.
Note: When selecting any function on the control panel, it is confirmed by means of an
audible warning (beep).

• The cooktop has 5 Prepares (Aquecer-Keep Warm, Cozinhar-Cook, Ferver-Boil, Refogar-
Braise and Fritar-Sauté). These functions have a standard temperature (see table 1), which
is adjustable at any time.
• The temperature setting is between 40 °C to 180 °C - 104 °F to 356 °F.
• To select a preset function, turn on the cooktop and press the “ ” until you select the
“F” symbol on the product display. Wait a few seconds and the display will enter Manual
Mode. Choose function desired using the “+” and “-” keys and after a few seconds the
cooktop will start heating.
• To select a Prepare through the app, with the cooktop turned on, open the app and go to
Remote Control. Select the desired Prepare and start working.
• When selecting the function, the cooktop display will show the standard temperature
setting. To change this temperature, use the “+” and “-” keys on the control panel.
• The symbol “HEAT”, which is visible on the upper right side of the display when the
function is running, indicates the temperature current cooking. To view or change the set
temperature, just press the “+” and “-”.
• To switch from one function to the other, press the “ ” until you select the “F” symbol and
choose the new function using the “+” and “-”.
• To exit a function and cancel cooking, short press the button “ ”.
• To exit a Prepare and cancel the cooking, short press the button “ ” or do the command
through the app.
• The maximum cooking time for this product is 3 hours. After this period, the Guru will shut

Scale function
Using the Scale function in Manual Mode
• Turn on the cooktop and press the “ ” until you select the “ ” on the product display.

At the end of the time programmed by the user, the cooktop switches off automatically.
• Turn on the cooktop and press the “ ” until you select the “ ” on the product display.
Hold a few seconds and the display will enter the Timer. Set the desired time using the “+”
and “-” keys. After to program the Timer, set the Manual Mode function that will be used
for cooking.
• The adjustable time interval is from 1 min to 3 h. When holding down the “+” key, the time is
increased every 5 min until 30 min, then increase every 10 min.
• After defining a Prepare and the cooktop starts cooking, the display will show the
temperature cooking time and the remaining timer.
• If during cooking it is necessary to change the previously set timer, press the “ ” until you
select the “ ” and change the Timer using the“ + ”and“ - ”keys. The new time is set instantly
and after 30 seconds the display returns to the home screen.
• If you want to cancel the Timer, press the “ ” until you select the “ ” and reset the time
by middle of the “-”. The Timer is canceled immediately and after 30 seconds the display
returns to the initial screen. Or you can cancel by one short press on the button “ ”.
Program the Timer function in Remote Control Mode
Through the Remote Control Mode, it is possible to define whether, at the end of the time
programmed by the user, cooktop shuts down or only beeps.
• With the cooktop on, open the app and go to the Remote Control. Below each function, there
is the option of the Timer. Select the desired time and confirm to start the timer.
• The adjustable time interval is from 1 sec to 3 h.
• It is possible to follow the remaining time through the app.
• If during cooking it is necessary to change the Timer previously defined, enter the Timer
option in the app and change the time as desired. The new time is defined after pressing
“Start”.
• When pausing cooking, time is paused as well. If the function is changed during cooking, the
Timer remains with the time remaining at the time of exchange.
• If you want to cancel the Timer, access the Timer option in the app, reset the time and
confirm. Or you can cancel by turning off the product using the “ ”.
Note: In Recipes Mode, the Timer is set according to each recipe.

Using the Scale function in Remote Control Mode
• With the cooktop on, open the app and go to the Remote Control. Below each Prepare,
there is the option of the Scale function.
• As soon as the ingredient/utensil is positioned on the cooktop, the scale will be activated.
Therefore, it is weighing and taring during cooking.
• To tare or reset the scale, press the “Reset” icon.
Caution: Make sure that the power cord is not in contact with any part of the product or
even wrapped around the base of the cooktop, as it may influence weighing.
Note: In the Recipes Mode, the Scale function is used according to the schedule of each
recipe and number of portions selected. In this Mode, weighing is done as a percentage.
IMPORTANT!
To use the Recipe Mode, you will need to be near to the Cooktop Guru with a device that
has the Tramontina Guru app.
In the rst use of the Recipe Mode, we recommend to do the “Tutorial Recipe” that can
be found in the “Help” menu in the app.
ATTENTION!
The Guru smart portable induction cooktop has been trained by our chefs to cook with
just a few Tramontina induction pans. For a more accurate experience in the results of
the recipes, use the models dened in the list of utensils of each recipe.
• The use of the Recipes Mode is through the Tramontina Guru app.
• Recipes are fully programmed by the cooktop, with complete preparation guidance.
• With the cooktop on, open the app and choose the desired recipe. In the Ingredient tab,
select the quantity (portion) and start preparing the recipe.
• In each recipe, it is possible to view the suggested utensils that will be needed for the
preparation of the recipe, a resume of the recipe development and nutritional information.
• In each step of the recipe there is a video illustrating that step.
• During the development of the recipe, it is possible to go back or advance the cooking
steps. To cancel cooking, press the X at the top of the screen.
• Note: Any modification in the recipies made by the user (ingredient substitution, advance
of steps, use of non-recommended utensils) will influence the results predicted by the
Guru.

The portable induction cooktop has a cooling fan, which is automatically activated when
the induction heating is activated. This system serves to protect the internal components of
overheating and also to cool the glass ceramic table.
When the cooktop is switched off, the cooling fan remains on until the ceramic glass table
reaches a temperature lower than 60 °C (140 °F). During this time, the display of the cooktop
indicates “HOT”.
12. Cooling fan
• Before performing any cleaning operation, disconnect the power cord from the electrical
outlet.
• Be careful not to unplug the power cord from the outlet with wet hands.
• To increase the life of your product and avoid stains, immediately wipe off any liquid or
residue that falls on the glass ceramic surface.
13. Cleaning
• The selected temperature is enough to cook the desired load. A very low temperature can take a
long time to heat the depending on the quantity.
• The size of the pan is adequate and it has a flat bottom.

Temperature sensor
• The temperature sensor is a sensitive part of the
cooktop, so avoid spilling liquids and food on it. In
case of small spills, this liquids will be drained out,
without damaging the internal components of
the product and without causing risks to the user.
• Keep the temperature sensor and its surroundings
always clean, especially of oils and fats.
• Do not use sharp and cutting utensils to cleaning.
• Remove excess dirt with a soft cloth or napkin.
• Clean the temperature sensor carefully with
neutral detergent and a soft, damp cloth. Dry
immediately after cleaning.

ATTENTION!
Cleaning of the glass ceramic surface must always be carried out while it is cold.
However, when plastic objects, aluminum foils and foods that in their composition
contain sugar, come into contact with the heated glass ceramic surface, it will be
necessary to remove these residues while it is still hot, using a soft sponge moistened
with water. After the glass ceramic surface has cooled, it may not be possible to
remove these melted waste (sugar, plastic or aluminum foil).
• For hygiene reasons, always clean the product after each use. This guarantees the good
condition of the device, in addition to facilitating cleaning.
• To avoid damage to the product and risk of accident, do not wash the cooktop directly
with water.
• Do not use steam cleaning equipment on the cooktop.
• The accumulation of fat or other residues can cause risks of accidents and malfunction
of the product.
• To clean the dirt on the glass ceramic surface, use a soft cloth moistened with warm water.
• To clean / remove the grease, use a soft cloth moistened with warm water and neutral
detergent.
• Always clean the cooktop after cleaning.
• If liquid spills on the glass ceramic surface, remove the pan, switch off the product,
remove the power cord from the outlet and remove the liquid first with a cloth and then
finish cleaning according to the guidelines mentioned above.
• Periodically check the air inlet and outlet openings of the cooktop. Excessive dust harms
the internal ventilation of the device, reducing its efficiency. To clean these openings, use
a dry cloth, or a short, dry bristle brush.
• Never use abrasive products such as soaps, abrasive sponges or steel for cleaning,
corrosive detergents, benzene, thinner, polishing powder, etc., or sharp objects that may
scratch the glass ceramic surface.
• Do not use flammable products for cleaning.
• To remove persistent stains, use the Cleaning Paste for glass and glass-ceramic surfaces
TRAMONTINA, taking care not to reach the temperature sensor.

• Parts worn by normal/natural use.

installed or from voltage fluctuations greater
than what is established in this Manual.
• Damaged parts due to transport or handling
accidents, dented, scratched or acts and effects
of nature, such as atmospheric discharges, rain,
floods, etc.
• Transportation to the final place of installation,
parts, materials and labor for the preparation of
the place where the TRAMONTINA cooktop will
be installed, such as: electrical network, ground
connection, masonry, furniture, etc.
• Abnormal operation of the TRAMONTINA
cooktop due to lack of cleaning and excessive
residue.
• In the event that it is necessary to use materials
that do not come with the product, as well
as specific labor for the preparation of the
installation site, the expenses generated will be
borne by the consumer.
• Transportation of the product from the factory
to the customer's home or vice versa.
• Expenses related to the place of installation,
such as furniture or even the countertop made
of granite, marble or any other material.
• Costs generated by a claim where the
Authorized Service does not find spare parts
with vice or manufacturing defect or for use
not indicated in the instruction manual, may be
charged to the consumer.
The guarantee does not cover:
• Warranty assistance will be provided upon
delivery of the product to the nearest Tramontina
Authorized Service.
• In locations not served by the Authorized
Services network, or outside the urban

warranty repair must be delivered to the nearest
Authorized Service, with freight costs and

are the responsibility of the consumer.

TRAMONTINA TEEC S.A. reserves the right to
alter the general, technical and aesthetic
characteristics without prior notice.
• The warranty is valid only for products sold and
used in the Brazilian territory.
• This product was tested and controlled by
specialized personnel before leaving the factory,
in order to guarantee the best operating results.
• The original replacement parts are found in the
Authorized Services Network.
• Any defect or defect found in this product must
be immediately reported to the TRAMONTINA
