OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Read this manual in its entirety before rst operation and keep it
available for future reference.
Before Operating:
1. Be sure unit is properly grounded.
2. Be sure you are plugging the unit into a 110 volt outlet.
3. Always turn o the machine when not in use.
4. Be sure to grasp handle rmly when opening.
5. Always keep children away from this machine.
6. Do not attempt to use on products that are not intended for
normal heat transfer use.
Operating Procedures:
1. Plug into standard 110V power supply and turn on power
switch, the red light will illuminate.
2. Adjust the temperature by pressing the TEMP button; the
top LCD screen should be blinking. Use the UP and DOWN
buttons to select the desired temperature and machine the
TEMP button again to set the temperature.
3. Adjust the time by pressing the TIME button; use the UP and
DOWN buttons to select the time and press the TIME button
again to set the time.
4. Allow 20-30 minutes for machine to heat to set temperature.
5. Set locking pressure to provide a rm but comfortable lock-
down of the heating plate. The pressure may need to be
adjusted again depending on the material or the specic
transfer application. Turn pressure knob to the right to
increase pressure, turn left to reduce pressure. Note that
when the pressure is set too high the handle will not lock.

Connecting the Power:
1. Connect the power cord into a properly grounded 110V
outlet with a minimum 15 amp rating.
2. Your Transfer Crafts® Heat Transfer Printing Machine requires
a full 15 amp grounded circuit for 110 volt operation
3. Extension cord use is NOT recommended. If extension cord
use is necessary, cords should be as short as possible and no
less than 12-guage. Heavy-duty extension cords are highly
recommended in this case.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Failure to Follow These Instructions:
1. May cause erratic controller functions.
2. May cause inaccurate displays and improper warm-up
3. May cause internal malfunctions which may permanently
damage the machine
Additional Warnings and Precautions:
• The Transfer Crafts® Heat Transfer Printing Machine contains
no user serviceable parts. Do not remove the panels or in any
way disassemble the machine.
• The Transfer Crafts® Heat Transfer Printing Machine will heat
up very quickly, never set any object on top of or near the
machine.
• Operating temperature can exceed 700°F, appropriate
caution should always be taken when working around
excessive heat.
• Do not operate near ammable materials.

• The Transfer Crafts® Heat Transfer Printing Machine is not
a toy and should never be operated in the presence of
children.
• Always unplug the machine when not in use.
• The machine will remain hot for up to 40 minutes after being
powered o. Be very careful not to touch the machine until it
has completely cooled o.
• Always make sure your work surface is of adequate size, clean
and orderly. Accidents happen more frequently in cramped
and disorganized spaces.
• Do not attempt to move the machine until it has completely
cooled.
• The Transfer Crafts® Heat Transfer Printing Machine is rated
between 1500-1800 watts. Make sure it is on a 15-amp circuit
(minimum) shared with minimal other electrical equipment.
• Make sure the electric circuit is properly grounded before
plugging the machine into the outlet and NEVER use a
3-prong adapter.
• Keep away from water and excessively damp environments.
• Always turn machine o when not is use.
• Before plugging the machine into an electrical outlet you
should inspect the unit for any damage, loose parts, screws
or nuts.
