THIS MANUAL CONTAINS IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION AND GUIDELINES. BEFORE
USING THE TREEPOD READ THIS MANUAL COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY AND MAKE SURE
YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO ALL WARNINGS, CAUTIONS, INSTRUCTIONS, AND SAFETY
RECOMMENDATIONS. PERIODICALLY REVIEW THE INFORMATION IN THIS MANUAL AND
INSPECT YOUR TREEPOD AND HANGING EQUIPMENT REGULARLY FOR SIGNS OF DAMAGE AND/
OR WEAR. DO NOT USE THE TREEPOD IF THE TREEPOD OR ANY PORTION OF THE HANGING
SYSTEM SHOWS SIGNS OF DAMAGE OR WEAR, BUT CONTACT SELLER TO DISCUSS THE STATUS
AND SAFETY OF YOUR TREEPOD IF IN QUESTIONABLE CONDITION. DO NOT USE THE TREEPOD
UNLESS YOU ACCEPT ALL RISK OF INJURY AND/OR DEATH THAT MAY RESULT FROM YOUR USE.
PARENTS OF MINORS AND MINORS: Minors should not use the TreePod unless they are under
constant competent adult supervision. Make sure that the TreePod is only installed in areas where
minors can not access it without such adult supervision. Minors should never install or adjust the
hanging system at any time. The TreePod should not be left unattended or set up for unsupervised
use by Minors. A lock on the door zippers may be used to prevent unauthorized use.
The TreePod was developed to accommodate one adult or a few children, weighing less than 500
lbs (227 kg) total, for use over a flat, even and soft landing area without any obstacles, people,
projections, or hazards underneath and/or nearby. A HANGING SYSTEM IS ONLY AS STRONG
AS ITS WEAKEST LINK AND ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDELINES MUST BE FOLLOWED. The
TreePod must only be used in the manner described in this manual – as a suspended play house,
the bottom ring of which is no higher than 3 ft (0.91 m) o the ground and total weight of occupants
does not exceed 500 lbs (227 kg). USING ANY EQUIPMENT THAT IS SUSPENDED ABOVE
GROUND CAN BE A DANGEROUS ACTIVITY THAT MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR
DEATH EVEN WHEN USED PROPERLY. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND ALWAYS USE COMMON
SENSE.
• Make sure that the TreePod is hung only from anchors as described in the anchoring
section below. Do NOT attach the TreePod to ANY anchor point that is too weak to
safely support 1500lbs (680kg) or that is not fixed. Non-fixed anchors include but are
not limited to any vehicle, moving structure of any kind, slackline of any kind including
longlines and highlines, any structure that can bend or lose its shape with the weight of
the TreePod and its users or any animal; these are not adequate anchors. Public facilities
and infrastructure (utility poles, sculptures, playground equipment, sound equipment,
trac signs or signals, parking structures, bridges, buildings, etc.) are not suitable anchor
points for the TreePod.
• DO NOT set the TreePod at any height that will allow the bottom ring to be any higher
than 3 ft (0.91 m) o the ground.
• Make sure that there are no dangers, obstacles, hazards, people, animals or projections
underneath and/or in the immediate (10 ft/ 3 m) proximity of the TreePod that could injure
the user or users in a fall.
• Do NOT exceed 500 pounds (227 kg) in weight in the TreePod at any time.
• Do NOT allow sharp objects of any kind inside the TreePod. Fabric is under tension and
should never be in contact with sharp or penetrating objects including but not limited to
clothing, garments, accessories, tools and animals that when in contact with the fabric

could cause it to rip and lead to significant injury or death.
• Do NOT use, refuel or allow ANY fuel-burning products including but not limited to
lanterns, stoves, heaters, and cooking devices inside or in the immediate proximity (10 ft/
3 m) of the TreePod. Use of fuel-burning products in or around the TreePod is dangerous
and can cause an accumulation of carbon monoxide and/or a fire which can lead to
serious injury, damage or death.
• Do NOT use or allow ANY heat sources or open flames including but not limited to
campfires, lighters, smoking of any type and candles inside or in the immediate proximity
(10 ft/ 3 m) of the TreePod. The fabric is flame-resistant not fireproof and use any open
flame or heat source in or near the TreePod could cause a fire leading to serious injury,
damage or death.
• Make sure the elements of the hanging system and TreePod have been installed
properly before use.
• Adult supervision is always required when Minors are using TreePod.
• Do NOT set up the TreePod in front of pedestrian, bike or other trac paths.
• Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will cause fading and UV damage to the TreePod.
ALWAYS store TreePod out of directly sunlight to extend the life of the TreePod.
• This TreePod is not impervious to damage or wear. THE TREEPOD MUST BE PROPERLY
MAINTAINED AND INSPECTED BEFORE EVERY USE. FAILURE TO INSPECT AND
MAINTAIN THE TREEPOD BEFORE EACH USE MAY RESULT IN INJURY AND/OR DEATH.
FAILURE TO:
• USE COMMON SENSE,
• USE THE TREEPOD AS RECOMMENDED IN THIS MANUAL, AND
• HEED THE WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL
SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR DEATH.
INTENDED USE AND NONUSES:
The TreePod is designed for gentle play and relaxation. NEVER stand inside, jump into or use it as
a trampoline or swing. It is not intended to be used for rock climbing, cli faces, or other areas of
large drops, or overnight camping. Do NOT attach or secure the TreePod to a movable platform or
anchor, it is not intended to be used for such recreation or activities. Do NOT attempt to use this
product for anything other than its intended purpose, and always observe height and weight limits.
The TreePod is not intended to be used in inclement, severe, or bad weather. If there is weather
that creates dangerous conditions, such as storms, heavy rain, high winds, and/or lightning, do
not use or remain in TreePod in or during those conditions! It is recommended that the TreePod
is taken down and stored to avoid remaining in and being subject to such conditions. Leaving the
TreePod out and installed in bad weather can lead to potential destruction and/or damage to the
TreePod. If the TreePod is subject to such conditions, it and its anchor/hanging system should be
inspected in detail prior to any future use. Be sure to thoroughly dry the TreePod before storing.
WHEN ASSEMBLED AND INSTALLED, THE TREEPOD PLACES SIGNIFICANT FORCE ON THE
ANCHORING STRUCTURE, GREAT CARE MUST BE EXERCISED WHEN USING THE TREEPOD TO
DECREASE THE RISK OF INJURY AND/OR DEATH. OVERLOADING THE TREEPOD WITH MORE
THAN 500 POUNDS (227 KG) INCREASES THE FORCES AND MAY CAUSE ANCHOR, TREEPOD
AND/OR ANY PARTS TO FAIL RESULTING IN INJURY AND/OR DEATH.
THE MANUFACTURER AND RESELLERS OF THE TREEPOD EXPLICITLY DISCLAIM ANY AND
ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR ANY DEATH, PARALYSIS, INJURY, AND/OR DAMAGE
TO ANY PERSON OR PROPERTY THAT MAY OCCUR THAT ARISES OUT OF OR IS IN ANY WAY
RELATED TO THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT.
AIRBAG: The bottom of the TreePod, the section under the bottom ring, provides both insulation and
an emergency safety feature to cushion a fall if the TreePod anchoring should fail. It is however not to
be made to suer intentional falls or relied on for regular use or entertainment. The cushioning provided
by the airbag is simply an added safety feature and does not promise to prevent any potential injury or

death. If there are any tears or rips in the airbag they should be repaired immediately. If the airbag has
been used and/or implemented in a fall of the TreePod, it needs to be checked for damage (tears or
rips) and any damage should be evaluated and repaired before any future use.
MAINTENANCE: The TreePod should always be kept clean and dry. It is recommended to apply
after market UV resistance spray and mold resistance spray to protect the fabric from the elements.
Sprays should be reapplied every two months. The TreePod should be inspected for damage to
the fabric and hanging points before each use. Any tear/wear in the fabric should be immediately

STORAGE: When not in use, the TreePod should be removed and stored dry, clean, and fully
disassembled in a storage bag, in a dry environment and out of reach of children, pets or other
animals. If the TreePod will be left out for extended periods of time, an additional cover may be
used to reduce UV damage.
LIMITED WARRANTY
This product is warranted against any material or manufacturing defect for one (1) year from the
purchase date as stated on a valid receipt. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER OR INCLUDE
ANY DAMAGE OR DEFECT CAUSED BY: NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, MODIFICATIONS OR
ALTERATIONS, INCORRECT STORAGE, POOR MAINTENANCE, AND/OR DAMAGE DUE TO
ACCIDENTS, NEGLIGENCE, OR MISUSE (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FAILURE TO FOLLOW
INSTRUCTIONS AND ANY USE NOT EXPLICITLY OUTLINED AND APPROVED IN THIS MANUAL).
The Warranty herein will not be honored for products that are purchased through an unauthorized
dealer or secondary reseller. Unauthorized and/or resold products are not backed up by the high
quality standards and dependability of original products sold by authorized dealers. Buying from an
unauthorized dealer you could get a product that is fake, stolen, or a re-manufactured, and being
listed as new. To redeem any potential warranty you will need to provide proof of purchase with the
product.
Other than as described above, THE MANUFACTURER, SELLERS, AND RESELLERS OF THIS
PRODUCT MAKE NO OTHER REPRESENTATIONS AND/OR WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, REGARDING THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES
AS TO MERCHANTABILITY, QUALITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE
MANUFACTURER, SELLERS, AND RESELLERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER
FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED ON
BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), PRODUCT
LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF THEY HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
SUCH DAMAGES. VIOLATION OF THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS HEREIN OPERATES AS
A WAIVER OF CLAIMS BY THE USER. THE TREEPOD USER AGREES THAT HIS OR HER FULL
REMEDY AGAINST THE MANUFACTURER, SELLERS, AND RESELLERS FOR ANY LIABILITY,
CLAIMS, OR DAMAGES, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE TREEPOD, AND
IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ALL CLAIMS FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGES THAT SUCH TREEPOD USER
MAY HAVE.
FURTHER WARNINGS
INSTALLATION OF THE TREEPOD MAY INVOLVE HEIGHTS, CAN BE DANGEROUS AND
MAY LEAD TO INJURY AND/OR DEATH. THE INSTALLATION MUST NEVER BE EXECUTED
BY MINORS AND EXTREME CARE AND CAUTION MUST BE TAKEN WHEN EXECUTED BY
ADULTS. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER COMPONENTS, PARTS, TOOLS OR MATERIALS OTHER THAN
THOSE INCLUDED IN THE TREEPOD PACKAGE OR RECOMMENDED IN THIS MANUAL.

INSTRUCTIONS:
PARTS
The TreePod: Lounger/Cabana is designed for quick and easy assembly if you follow the
directions in this Manual.
The TreePod consists of:

ASSEMBLY:
1. Unpack the TreePod from the box separating the top and bottom ring poles into piles and set
aside.
2. Unzip the top pole sleeve in the top of the fabric
pod.
3. Insert top poles into the top pole sleeve and
connect together until a circle is formed. 3

Unzip the top pole sleeve and girth hitch the top
pole with the handle strap.
Thread the end of the handle strap through the
desired precut hole located above the door to the
left, right or center.
Zip top pole sleeve shut.

4. Pull the zippered edge of the sleeve over the
top-ring and zip the top pole sleeve shut.
Repeat steps 2-4 to assemble the base poles into
the base pole sleeve.

INSTALLATION
Needed to begin:
A steel, locking carabiner will also be needed if hanging between trees. ALWAYS use rope that is
rated with a breaking strength of at least 1500 lbs (680 kg). When buying the rope only buy a rope
that clearly states its breaking strength. We recommend using rope made of synthetic materials that
will be more durable when used outside. Rope should be inspected periodically for signs of mold,
fraying or tears and should be replaced if any of these conditions exist.
ANCHORING
The TreePod Stand can be purchased separately and provides a solid anchoring system for both
indoor and outdoor use. However, the TreePod can also be set up and installed to hang from a tree
or between trees (but not other objects, such as poles, utility poles, or other stationary man made
or installed structures), as outlined below.
ONE TREE USING A STURDY BRANCH
The TreePod must only be attached to tree branches that will support the weight and MUST always
also be attached to the trunk, the strongest part of the tree. The tree and branch must be alive, not
cracked, hard-barked, and hanging point should have a minimum diameter of 8 inches (20 cm).
DO NOT ATTACH THE TREEPOD TO ANY TREE THAT CANNOT WITHSTAND A MINIMUM FORCE
OF 1500 POUNDS (680 KG). Always protect the tree or branch being used as a hanging point with
readily available tree protection for slacklines, ziplines or hammocks or use a carpet scrap, felt or
cardboard. NEVER attach the TreePod to a man-made structure, other than the TreePod Stand.
1. Locate a suitable and safe location with an
accessible tree branch as described above with
no hazards, obstacles, projections, or other
dangers underneath and/or nearby.
2. Tie a figure-8 on bight knot, creating a loop on
one end of the rope.

3. Attach the quicklink to the figure-8 on bight
knot just created by unscrewing the quick link
gate and placing the loop inside and over the
steel.
5. Lead the other end of the rope over the branch
where TreePod will be installed.
7. Pull the rope to raise the TreePod so the
bottom ring is no higher than 3 ft (0.91 m) o the
ground.
4. Place sewn loop of TreePod on to the quick
link and ensure gate is screwed in completely to
secure rope and TreePod loop inside.
6. TEST that all knots and rope are secure and
can hold the intended weight.

10. Check all knots and that the TreePod is
secure in place.
9. OPTIONAL: Run a guy-line through connected loop in the back of the TreePod and a ground
stake, position and pound in stake to steady TreePod and tie o guy-line to stake using a secure
knot. Guy-line should be taught to prevent spinning or swinging.
8. Tie o the rope in a clove hitch around the tree
trunk where the TreePod will be secure and so
the bottom ring is no higher than 3 ft (0.91 m) o
the ground.

BETWEEN TWO TREES
The TreePod can also be hung between sturdy, mature, healthy trees with trunks at least 10 inches
(25 cm) in diameter at the desired attachment points so that the TreePod hanging height follows
guidelines (the bottom ring of the TreePod MUST NEVER be more than 3 ft (0.91 m) high over
flat and unobstructed ground). DO NOT ATTACH THE TREEPOD TO ANY TREE THAT CANNOT
WITHSTAND A MINIMUM FORCE OF 1500 POUNDS (680 KG). You will need two pieces of rope,
one of them should approximately 2/3 of the length between the trees and the second rope should
be approximately 1.2 times the distance between the trees.
1. Locate a suitable and safe location with
accessible tree trunks as described above with
no hazards, obstacles, projections, or other
dangers underneath and/or nearby.
3. Position ladder to access the attachment point
of the tree trunk on one side and wrap the end
of the rope around the trunk using a girth hitch.
Attach a steel oval locking carabiner to the bight
on the free end of the rope and screw in and lock
gate completely.
2. On the shorter piece of rope tie figure-8 on
bight knots on each end of the rope.

6. Bring the loose end of the rope to the opposite
tree and pass it through the steel carabiner.
Bring it back down to the tree trunk wrapping it
around the tree and tie with a two half-hitch knot
to secure.
8. Clip the Quick Link to sewn loop of TreePod
and to the rope at its center between the trees.
Insure that the gate of the Quick Link is screwed
in completely.
7. TEST that all knots and rope are secure and
can hold the intended weight.
9. OPTIONAL: Run a guy-line through connected loop in the back of the TreePod and a ground
stake, position and pound in stake to steady TreePod and tie o guy-line to stake using a secure
knot. Repeat on all corners, guy-lines should be taught to prevent spinning or swinging.
5. Position ladder to access the attachment point
of the tree trunk on the other side and wrap the
end of the rope with the figure-8 knot around the
trunk using a girth hitch.

INDOORS
The TreePod Stand is the ONLY recommended hanging method
for use indoors. It is designed with a steel hanging loop for the
TreePod to clip to, which will support up to 500 lbs (227 kg) and
is sold separately. Do NOT attempt to hang from a ceiling or
other indoor structure.
ENTERING AND EXITING THE TREEPOD
ALWAYS sit directly into the TreePod
with both feet on the ground, and then
slide back to get inside.
To exit the TreePod, sit at the door and
place both feet on the ground then
stand to exit. DO NOT jump out of the
TreePod or exit head first.

• NO PERMITA objetos puntiagudos de ningún tipo dentro del TreePod. La tela se encuentra
bajo tensión y nunca debe tener contacto con objetos filosos o penetrantes, incluyendo pero
no limitados a: ropa, vestimenta, accesorios, herramientas, animales que en contacto con la

Uso Recomendado y Usos No Aceptados:
El TreePod esta diseñado para juegos calmados y relajados. NUNCA se coloque de pie adentro, no
salte al entrar, salir o estando dentro del TreePod, NO lo utilice cómo un trampolín o columpio. No
esta diseñado para utilizar en escalada, paredes rocosas verticales ú otras áreas con gran elevación,
tampoco para acampar o pasar la noche. No fije o asegure el TreePod a plataformas o anclajes
móviles, no está diseñado para ese tipo de actividades. NO intente utilizar este producto para ningún
uso distinto al recomendado y siempre cumpla con los límites de peso y altura.
El TreePod no esta diseñado para ser utilizado en condiciones meteorológicas adversas o severas. Si
hay situaciones climáticas que creen situaciones de peligro cómo tormentas, lluvias fuertes, vientos
fuertes y/o relámpagos no utilice y no permanezca en el TreePod durante esas condiciones! Se
recomienda que el TreePod se desmonte y almacene durante estos episodios de mal tiempo para

BOLSA DE AIRE: La parte inferior del TreePod, la sección debajo del anillo inferior, provee a los
usuarios de aislamiento térmico y de una función de seguridad en caso de emergencia, al amortiguar el
impacto a los usuarios en caso de caída. Sin embargo, esta bolsa de aire no debe ser usada de manera
intencional, de manera repetitiva, a manera de uso normal o de entretenimiento. El amortiguamiento
provisto por la bolsa de aire es simplemente una función adicional de seguridad y no promete prevenir
una lesión o muerte. Si hay cualquier desgaste o rotura en la bolsa de aire deben ser reparados
inmediatamente. Si la bolsa de aire ha sido usada cómo resultado de una caída del TreePod debe ser
inspeccionada para garantizar que no haya roturas de ningún tipo. Cualquier daño debe ser reparado

MANTENIMIENTO: El TreePod debe estar siempre limpio y seco. Se recomienda comprar y aplicar

se puede usar una cubierta adicional para reducir el daño UV.

ASAMBLEA:
1. Desempaque el TreePod de la caja separando en pilas los tubos del anillo superior de los tubos
del anillo de la base y déjelos a un costado.
2. Abra la cremallera de la manga para tubos
superiores ubicada en la parte superior del
contenedor de tela.
3. Inserte los tubos superiores en la manga para
tubos superiores y conéctelos hasta formar un
círculo.

5. OPCIONAL Correa de agarre
Abra la cremallera de la manga para tubos
superiores y amarre con un nudo de alondra el
tubo superior con la correa de agarre.
Enhebre el extremo de la correa de agarre por el
orificio precortado que desee, ubicado por encima,
a la izquierda, a la derecha o en el centro de la
puerta.
Cierre la cremallera de la manga para tubos
superiores.
4. Tire del borde con cremallera de la manga
ubicada sobre el anillo superior y cierre la
cremallera de la manga para tubos superiores.
Repita los pasos 2-4 para montar los tubos de la
base en la manga para tubos de la base.

INSTALACIÓN
Es necesario antes de empezar:
Si se van a usar dos árboles para la instalación también hace falta un mosquetón de acero con
seguro. SIEMPRE debe usar cuerda que este certificada para una carga de ruptura superior a
680 kg (1500 lbs). Al comprar la cuerda sólo compre cuerda que tenga claramente indicada su
carga de ruptura. Recomendamos usar cuerda de materiales sintéticos si la instalación es a la
intemperie pues son mucho mas duraderos ante los elementos. La cuerda debe ser inspeccionada
periódicamente para detectar señales de deterioro u hongos y debe ser reemplazada si estas
condiciones están presentes.
ANCLAJE
El TreePod Stand es una base para el TreePod que se puede comprar por separado y provee una
instalación segura dentro o fuera de la casa. El TreePod se puede instalar con uno o dos árboles
siguiendo las instrucciones abajo – pero nunca con ningún otro objeto cómo postes de electricidad
o luz, u otras estructuras hechas por el hombre.
INSTALACIÓN CON UN ARBOL USANDO UNA RAMA RESISTENTE
El Treepod se debe instalar sólo a ramas que puedan resistir el peso y DEBE siempre estar también
anclado al tronco, que es la parte mas fuerte del árbol. La rama y el árbol deben estar vivos,
saludables, sin quiebres o fracturas y con la corteza en buen estado. En el punto al cual se ancla el
TreePod a la rama debe tener un diámetro mínimo de 20 cm (8 plg). NUNCA ANCLE EL TREEPOD
EN UNA RAMA Y ÁRBOL QUE NO PUEDA RESISTIR UNA FUERZA MÍNIMA DE 680 KGS (1500LBS).
Recubra siempre la sección de la rama y el tronco donde se va a anclar el TreePod con algún material
que proteja la corteza del árbol – cómo por ejemplo los protectores usados para instalar Slacklines,
Ziplines o Hamacas. También puede usar trozos de alfombra, fieltro o cartón. NUNCA instale el
TreePod en una estructura distinta a un árbol. La única excepción a esta regla es el TreePod Stand.
1. Ubique un lugar adecuado y seguro, con una
rama cómo la descrita arriba y en el cuál no haya
presencia de obstáculos, personas, proyecciones
o peligros debajo y en los alrededores.
2. Amarre un nudo tipo 8 con lazo (figure-8 on
bight) en un extremo de la cuerda.

5. Lleve el otro extremo de la cuerda encima del
rama donde se va a colgar el TreePod.
7. Tire de la cuerda para levantar el TreePod que
el anillo inferior no este a mas de 0.91 m (3 pies)
del piso.

3. Abra la rosca del Maillón (Quick Link) y
coloquelo en el lazo del nudo tipo 8 con lazo.
4. Coloque el aro de anclaje del TreePod en el
Maillón (Quick Link) y cierre la rosca del Maillón
completamente. Asegurese que tanto la cuerda
cómo el aro de anclaje del TreePod están
correctamente colocados dentro del Maillón.
6. PRUEBE que todos los nudos estén
correctamente armados y funcionen
correctamente para el peso esperado.

10. Revise todos los nudos y que el
TreePod esté fijo y seguro en su posición.
9. OPCIONAL: Coloque un cordino, usando un nudo seguro, conectado en la parte posterior del
TreePod hasta una de las estacas, clávela firmemente al suelo. Repita en las otras 2 esquinas, los
cordinos deben estar tensos para evitar que el TreePod gire o se columpie.

8. Atar la cuerda en alrededor del tronco del
árbol usando un nudo ballestrinque y usando
protección para la corteza, así que el TreePod es
seguro.
