NOTE D'USO
Questo apparecchio è uno strumento elettronico di alta precisione, evitate quindi di utilizzarlo nei seguenti casi:
Vicino a forti fonti di calore come caloriferi e stufe.
In luoghi molto umidi come stanze da bagno, piscine, ecc.
In luoghi molto polverosi.
In luoghi soggetti a forti vibrazioni.
Posizionate l'apparecchio in modo che ai suoi lati ci sia sempre abbastanza spazio per la libera circolazione di aria (almeno 5 cm).
Non ostruite le feritoie di ventilazione.
Se dei liquidi penetrano all'interno dell'apparecchio scollegate immediatamente la spina dalla presa e portate l'apparecchio al più vicino
centro assistenza autorizzato TREVI.
Controllate sempre prima di accendere l'apparecchio che i cavi di alimentazione e di collegamento siano installati correttamente.
CURA E MANUTENZIONE
Per la pulizia si consiglia l’ uso di un panno morbido, leggermente inumidito. Evitate solventi o sostanze abrasive.
IMPORTANTE
La buona costruzione di questo apparecchio ne garantisce per lungo tempo il perfetto funzionamento. Se tuttavia dovesse presentarsi qualche
inconveniente, sarà opportuno consultare il più vicino Centro Assistenza autorizzato TREVI.

INSTALLAZIONE BATTERIE DEL TELECOMANDO
Attenzione: batterie non incluse
Aprire il vano batterie posto sul retro del telecomando.
Inserire 2 batterie (formato AAA) assicurandosi di rispettare la polarità e i segni guida all’interno del vano batterie.
Richiudere il vano batterie.
Per prevenire la perdita di liquido da parte delle batterie con il conseguente danneggiamento del telecomando, assicurarsi di installare
correttamente le batterie e di non installare tipologie di batterie diverse (vecchie e nuove, alcaline e zinco-carbone, ecc...).
Rimuovere le batterie dal telecomado se non si usa per lunghi periodi.

INSTALLAZIONE E COLLEGAMENTI
COLLEGAMENTO INGRESSO LINE-IN
Collegare l'ingresso audio LINE IN (13) posto sul retro dell'unità altoparlante tramite il cavo audio jack stereo incluso all'uscita audio jack
stereo di un dispositivo (Lettore MP3, Lettore CD portatile,...).
COLLEGAMENTO INGRESSO AUDIO/VIDEO
Collegare gli ingressi A/V (11) posti sul retro dell'unità altoparlante tramite i cavi RCA inclusi alll’uscita A/V del dispositivo (Lettore
Mpeg4-DVD, Videoregistratore, Telecamera,...). Assicurarsi di rispettare i colori relativi alle varie sorgenti: giallo per il video, bianco per
il canale audio sinistro e rosso per il canale audio destro.
COLLEGAMENTO USCITA VIDEO COMPOSITO
Collegare l’uscita Video Composito (15) posta sul retro dell'unità altoparlantee tramite un cavo Video Composito (non incluso) all’ingresso
Video Composito di un televisore.
COLLEGAMENTO USCITA VIDEO COMPONENT (Y/Pb/Pr)
Collegare l’uscita Video Component (Y/Pb/Pr) (12) posta sul retro dell'unità altoparlante tramite un cavo Y/Pb/Pr (non incluso) all’ingresso
Y/Pb/Pr di un televisore. Assicurarsi di rispettare i colori relativi alle varie uscite video: verde per Y, blu per Pb, rosso per Pr.
COLLEGAMENTO USCITA SUBWOOFER
Collegare l’uscita Subwoofer posta sul retro dell'unità altoparlante tramite un cavo RCA (non incluso) all’ingresso di un Subwoofer
amplificato o all'ingresso di amplificatore a cui è collegato un Subwoofer.
Se non diversamente specificato, le descrizioni dei comandi valgono sia per l'unità che per il telecomando
OPERZIONI DI BASE
ACCENSIONE
Collegare il cavo di alimentazione (17) ad una presa elettrica AC 110~240V 50/60Hz.
Automaticamente si attiverà la modalità stand-by (visualizzazione orologio).
Premere il tasto POWER (2) per accendere l'unità altoparlante.
Premere una seconda volta il tasto POWER (2) per riattivare la modalità stand-by.
REGOLAZIONE VOLUME E FUNZIONE MUTE
Premere i tasti VOL+ e VOL- (22) per aumentare/diminuire il volume dell'unità altoparlante.
Premere il tasto MUTE (1) per escludere momentaneamente l’audio. Premerlo nuovamente per ripristinarlo.
REGOLAZIONE TONI ALTI E BASSI
Premere i tasti TREBLE+/- (16) per aumentare/diminuire livello dei toni alti dell'unità altoparlante.
Premere i tasti BASS+/- (17) per aumentare/diminuire livello dei toni bassi dell'unità altoparlante.
SELEZIONE SORGENTE
Premere in sequenza il tasto SOURCE (12) per selezionare la sorgente desiderata: TUNER (radio), AV (ingressi A/V),
LINE (ingresso LINE IN), IPOD (iPod/iPhone).
REGOLAZIONE DIMMER
Premere il tasto DIMMER (13) per regolare la luminosità del display LCD.
RESET
Premere il tasto RESET (16) dell'unità per riportare il sistema alle condizioni iniziali in caso di malfunzionamento.
FUNZIONE SLEEP
Premere in sequenza il tasto SLEEP (8) per attivare l'autospegnimento dell'unità altoparlante. È possibile selezionare l'autospegnimento
dopo 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 minuti, o selezionare OFF per disattivarlo. Se attivato comparirà la dicitura SLEEP sul display.
REGOLAZIONE OROLOGIO
REGOLAZIONE MANUALE
1. In modalità stand-by tenere premuto il tasto/(4) dell'unità altoparlante o il tasto TIME SET(23) del telecomando per attivare la
regolazione dell'orologio; la cifra relativa alle ore inizierà a lampeggiare.
2. Tramite i tastI TUN+ (6) e TUN- (7) dell'unità altoparlante o i tasti TUN+ (21) e TUN- (9) del telecomando selezionare l'ora e premere
il tasto/(4) dell'unità altoparlante o il tasto TIME SET(23) del telecomando per confermare; la cifra relativa ai minuti inizierà a
lampeggiare.
3. Tramite i tasti TUN+ (6) e TUN- (7) dell'unità altoparlante o i tasti TUN+ (21) e TUN- (9) del telecomando selezionare i minuti e premere
il tasto/(4) dell'unità altoparlante o il tasto TIME SET(23) del telecomando per confermare.
REGOLAZIONE AUTOMATICA
Una volta connesso un iPod/iPhone è possibile sincronizzare l'orario dell'unità con quello impostato sull'iPod/iPhone. È sufficiente premere
il tasto CLOCK SYNC (5) per sincronizzare l'orario.

FUNZIONE iPod/iPhone
INSERIMENTO iPod/iPhone
L'IPD 8450T è compatibile con la maggior parte dei modelli di iPod/iPhone. Per verificare quali modelli sono compatibili fare riferimento alla
"TABELLA DI COMPATIBILITÀ iPod/iPhone".
Per installare al meglio il proprio iPod/iPhone, L'IPD 8450T è fornito di 5 differenti supporti per installare i vari modelli di iPod/iPhone. Ogni
supporto è contraddistinto da un numero. Per verificare quale supporto utilizzare per il proprio iPod/iPhone fare riferimento alla "TABELLA
DI COMPATIBILITÀ DEI SUPPORTI".
1. Utilizzare il supporto adatto in base alla tabella sopra indicata.
2. Posizionarla nell'apposito alloggiamento.
3. Inserire il proprio iPod/iPhone nel connettore iPod/iPhone (5) dell'unità altoparlante.
NOTA
Una volta inserito il proprio iPod/iPhone dopo aver collegato il cavo di alimentazione, si avvierà automaticamente la ricarica della batteria.
RIPRODUZIONE iPod/iPhone
1. Accendere l'unità altoparlante.
2. Inserire il proprio iPod/iPhone.
3. Premere il tasto SOURCE (12) fino a visualizzare IPOD sul display LCD. La riproduzione si avvierà automaticamente.
4. Premere il tasto /(23) per sospendere momentaneamente la riproduzione. Ripremerlo per riavviarla.
5. Premere il tasto TUN+ (6) dell'unità altoparlante o il tasto iPod+/TUN+ (21) del telecomando per saltare alla traccia successiva. Tenerlo
premuto per avanzare velocemente all'interno della traccia.
6. Premere il tasto TUN- (7) dell'unità altoparlante o il tasto iPod-/TUN- (9) del telecomando per saltare alla traccia precedente. Tenerlo
premuto per indietreggiare velocemente all'interno della traccia.
7. Premere il tasto MENU (15) per visualizzare il menù del proprio iPod/iPhone e tramite i tasti di navigazione / (19/10) selezionare
la traccia desiderata da riprodurre.
8. Premere i tasti PLAY LIST +/- (6) per selezionare le tracce della Playlist del proprio iPod/iPhone da riprodurre.
9. Premere i tasti ALBUM +/- (7) per selezionare gli Album del proprio iPod/iPhone da riprodurre.
10. Premere i tasti CHAPTER +/- (11) per selezionare i Capitoli del proprio iPod/iPhone da riprodurre.
11. Tenere premuto il tasto SHUFFLE (18) per attivare la riproduzione casuale delle tracce. Tenerlo premuto nuovamente per disattivarla.
12. Premere ripetutamente il tasto REPEAT (14) per attivare le opzioni di ripetizione. È possibile selezionare la ripetizione della singola traccia
(dicitura REPEAT sul display lampeggiante) e la ripetizione dell'intero Album (dicitura REPEAT sul display fissa). Continuare a premerlo
fino alla scomparsa della dicitura REPEAT sul display per disattivare la ripetizione.

FUNZIONE RADIO
SINTONIZZAZIONE STAZIONI RADIO
1. Accendere l'unità altoparlante.
2. Premere il tasto SOURCE (12) fino a visualizzare TUNER sul display LCD.
3. Premere il tasto TUN+ (6) dell'unità altoparlante o il tasto iPod+/TUN+ (21) del telecomando per effettuare la sintonizzazione avanti fine
delle stazioni radio: la frequenza avanzerà di 0.05MHz ad ogni pressione del tasto. Tenerlo premuto per sintonizzare automaticamente
la stazione radio successiva a quella in ascolto.
4. Premere il tasto TUN- (7) dell'unità altoparlante o il tasto iPod-/TUN- (9) del telecomando per effettuare la sintonizzazione indietro fine
delle stazioni radio: la frequenza arretrerà di 0.05MHz ad ogni pressione del tasto. Tenerlo premuto per sintonizzare automaticamente la
stazione radio precedente a quella in ascolto.
5. Se si è a conoscenza della frequenza della stazione radio desiderata, è possibile immetere la frequenza direttamente tramite il Tastierino
numerico (3) del telecomando. Per esempio, se si desidera ascoltare la stazione radio alla frequenza 93.10MHz immettere in sequenza
i numeri 9, 3, 1 e 0. In caso di immissione di una frequenza fuori banda sul display verrà visualizzato il messaggio ERROR.
6. Premere il tasto ST (14) per passare dalla modalità STEREO alla modalità MONO e viceversa.
MEMORIZZAZIONE STAZIONI RADIO
1. Sintonizzarsi su una stazione radio.
2. Tenere premuto il tasto /(4) dell'unità altoparlante o il tasto MEM (23) del telecomando. Sul display lampeggerà la dicitura "P01".
3. Premere i tasti TUN+/- (6/7) dell'unità altoparlante o i tasti TUN+/- (21/9) del telecomando per selezionare la posizione dove si desidera
memorizzare la stazione radio. È possibile selezionare dalla posizione P01 alla posizione P20.
4. Premere il tasto /(4) dell'unità altoparlante o il tasto MEM (23) del telecomando per confermare la posizione selezionata.
5. Ripetere i punti dal 2 al 4 per memorizzare le rimanenti posizioni disponibili.
6. Durante l'ascolto, premere il tasto /(4) dell'unità altoparlante o il tasto MEM (23) del telecomando per scorrere tra le stazioni
memorizzate.
INGRESSO LINE IN
Tramite l'ingresso LINE IN è possibile riprodurre un qualsiasi dispositivo esterno dotato di uscita audio.
1. Collegare il dispositivo esterno all'ingresso LINE IN come descritto nel capitolo INSTALLAZIONE E COLLEGAMENTI a pag. 5.
2. Accendere l'unità altoparlante.
3. Accendere il dispositivo esterno.
4. Premere il tasto SOURCE (12) fino a visualizzare LINE sul display LCD.
5. Regolare volume e toni come descritto nel capitolo OPERAZIONI DI BASE a pag. 5. Se il volume risulta troppo basso regolare il volume
del dispositivo esterno.
INGRESSI AUDIO/VIDEO - USCITA VIDEO COMPOSITO
Tramite l'ingressi A/V è possibile riprodurre una qualsiasi sorgente audio o audio/video.
1. Collegare il dispositivo esterno agli ingressi A/V e un tv/monitor all'uscita Video Composito come descritto nel capitolo INSTALLAZIONE
E COLLEGAMENTI a pag. 5.
2. Accendere l'unità altoparlante.
3. Accendere il dispositivo esterno.
4. Premere il tasto SOURCE (12) fino a visualizzare AV sul display LCD.
5. Regolare volume e toni come descritto nel capitolo OPERAZIONI DI BASE a pag. 5.
6. Se il dispositivo esterno è provvisto di segnale video (per esempio un Lettore DVD), questo verrà automaticamente commutato sull'uscita
Video Composito.

USCITA VIDEO COMPONENT (Y/Pb/Pr)
Tramite l'uscita Video Component (Y/Pb/Pr) è possibile riprodurre i video presenti sul proprio iPod/iPhone.
1. Collegare un tv/monitor all'uscita Video Component (Y/Pb/Pr) come descritto nel capitolo INSTALLAZIONE E COLLEGAMENTI a pag. 5.
2. Accendere l'unità altoparlante.
3. Inserire il proprio iPod/iPhone.
4. Premere il tasto SOURCE (12) fino a visualizzare IPOD sul display LCD.
5. Avviare un video presente sul proprio iPod/iPhone. Il segnale video verrà automaticamente commutato sull'uscita Video Component
(Y/Pb/Pr).
6. Nel caso non avvenga la commutazione, premere il tasto VIDEO (4) del telecomando.
NOTE
Verificare che il tv/monitor collegato all'uscita Video Component (Y/Pb/Pr) sia impostato sull'ingresso relativo. Fare riferimento al manuale del
proprio tv/monitor.
Non è possibile riprodurre le immagini o foto presenti sul proprio iPod/iPhone, ma solo i video.
USCITA SUBWOOFER
Tramite l'uscita SUBWOOFER è possibile integrare l'audio in uscita dall'altoparlante con un Subwoofer amplificato o un Subwoofer collegato
ad un aplificatore.
1. Collegare il Subwoofer amplificato o l'amplificatore collegato al Subwoofer all'uscita SUBWOOFER come descritto nel capitolo INSTAL-
LAZIONE E COLLEGAMENTI a pag. 5.
2. Accendere l'unità altoparlante.
3. Accendere il il Subwoofer amplificato o l'amplificatore.
4. Il suono riprodotto da una qualsiasi sorgente verrà così integrato con quello del Subwoofer collegato.
PROBLEMI E SOLUZIONI
Sel’IPD8450TnonfunzionacorrettamentecontrollarequestabrevelistaprimadiportarelostessopressouncentroassistenzaautorizzatoTREVI.
In ogni caso non tentare di riparare l’apparecchio da soli, questo farebbe decadere la garanzia. Solo i centri assistenza tecnica TREVI sono
autorizzati ad eseguire interventi su questo apparecchio.
Radio con suono distorto
Effettuare la sintonizzazione manuale fine per centrare la frequenza giusta.
Riposizionare l'unità altoparlante per permettere una migliore ricezione.
Resettare l'unità altoparlante.
Radio senza suono
Verificare che la sorgente sia impostata su TUNER.
Volume troppo basso. Aumentare il volume.
MUTE attivato. Disattivare MUTE.
Resettare l'unità altoparlante.
L'iPod/iPhone non comunica / senza suono
Verificare che la sorgente sia impostata su IPOD.
Rimuovere l’iPod/iPhone dal connettore e verificare che lo stesso non sia sporco o non ci siano ostruzioni.
Verificare che l’iPod/iPhone funzioni correttamanete prima di posizionarlo nell'alloggiamento.
Volume troppo basso. Aumentare il volume.
MUTE attivato. Disattivare MUTE.
Resettare l'unità altoparlante.
Il telecomando non funziona
Sostituire la batterie

NOTES ON USE
This is a precision electronic appliance; avoid using it in the following cases:

In dusty areas.

Place the device leaving at least 5 cm of clearance on each side to allow air circulation.
Do not block air vents.
If any liquid should penetrate inside the device, immediately disconnect the power supply and bring the device to the nearest authorised
TREVI service centre.
Before turning the device on, always check that the supply and connection cables have been installed correctly.

Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
Insert 2 AAA batteries making sure to comply with the polarity and the indications inside the battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment.
In order to prevent fluid leakage from the batteries and subsequent damage to the remote control, make sure that the batteries are installed
correctly and do not use different kinds of batteries (old with new, alkaline with zinc-carbon, etc.).
Remove the batteries from the remote control if it is not to be used for long periods of time.

INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS
LINE-IN INPUT CONNECTION
Connect the LINE IN input (13) on the back of the speaker unit with the provided stereo jack audio cable to the stereo jack audio output
of any device (MP3 player, portable CD player, ...).
AUDIO/VIDEO INPUT CONNECTION
Connect A/V inputs (11) on the back of the speaker unit with the provided RCA cables to the A/V output of any device (Mpeg4-DVD
player, Video recorder, Camera, ...). Make sure to comply with the source colour scheme: yellow for video, white for left audio output
and red for right audio output.
COMPOSITE VIDEO OUTPUT CONNECTION
Connect the Composite Video output (15) on the back of the speaker unit with a Composite Video cable (not provided) to the Composite
Video input of a TV device.
COMPONENT VIDEO OUTPUT (Y/Pb/Pr) CONNECTION
Connect the Component Video output (Y/Pb/Pr) (12) on the back of the speaker unit with a Y/Pb/Pr cable (not provided) to the Y/Pb/Pr
input of a TV device. Make sure to comply with the video outputs colour scheme: green for Y, blue for Pb, red for Pr.
SUBWOOFER OUTPUT CONNECTION
Use an RCA cable (not provided) to connect the Subwoofer output on the back of the speaker unit to the input of a powered Subwoofer
or of an amplifier connected with a Subwoofer.
Unless otherwise specified, control descriptions apply both to the appliance and the remote control.
BASIC OPERATION
TURNING ON
Connect the power supply cable (17) to an AC 110~240V 50/60Hz socket.
Stand-by mode activates automatically (clock is displayed)
Press the POWER key (2) to turn the speaker unit on.
Press the POWER key again (2) to re-enter the standby mode.
VOLUME CONTROL AND MUTE FUNCTION
Press VOL+ and VOL- (22) keys to increase/decrease the speaker unit's volume.
Press MUTE (1) to temporarily turn the audio off. Press it again to restore it.
TREBLE AND BASS CONTROL
Press TREBLE +/- (16) to increase/decrease the high frequencies of the speaker unit.
Press BASS +/- (17) to increase/decrease the low frequencies of the speaker unit.
SOURCE SELECTION
Press the SOURCE key (12) repeatedly to select the source: TUNER (radio), AV (A/V inputs),
LINE (LINE IN input), IPOD (iPod/iPhone).
DIMMER ADJUSTMENT
Press the DIMMER key (13) to adjust the brightness of the LCD display.
RESET
Press the RESET key (16) to restore the factory settings in case of malfunction.
SLEEP FUNCTION
Press in sequence the SLEEP key (8) to activate automatic speaker unit's power-off. The auto power-off timer can be set on 90, 80, 70,
60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 minutes, otherwise select OFF to disable it. When enabled the SLEEP sign will be displayed.
CLOCK SETTING
MANUAL ADJUSTMENT
1. In stand-by mode press and hold /(4) on the speaker unit or TIME SET(23) on the remote control to activate clock setting; the
hours figure will start flashing.
2. Using the TUN+ (6) and TUN- (7) keys on the speaker unit or TUN+ (21) and TUN- (9) on the remote control, select the hours figure
and then press /(4) on the speaker unit or TIME SET(23) on the remote control to confirm; the minutes figure will start flashing.
3. Using the TUN+ (6) and TUN- (7) keys on the speaker unit or TUN+ (21) and TUN- (9) on the remote control, select the minutes figure
and then press /(4) on the speaker unit or TIME SET(23) on the remote control to confirm.
AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT
Once an iPod/iPhone is connected, the unit's clock will sync with the iPod/iPhone's automatically. Subsequent docking long press CLOCK
SYNC (5) to sync the clock.

iPod/iPhone FUNCTION
iPod/iPhone PLUG-IN
IPD 8450T is compatible with the majority of iPod/iPhone models. To check compatibility, please refer to the "iPod/iPhone COMPATIBILITY
TABLE".
IPD 8450T comes with 5 different stands to fit any iPod/iPhone model. Each stand is marked with a number. To check the right stand for
your iPod/iPhone, refer to the "STAND COMPATIBILITY TABLE".
1. Use the suitable stand according to the aforementioned table.
2. Put it in its housing.
3. Plug your iPod/iPhone in the suitable iPod/iPhone connector (5) on the speaker unit.
NOTE
Once your iPod/iPhone is plugged-in, its battery will start charging automatically when connecting the power supply cable.
iPod/iPhone PLAYBACK
1. Turn on the speaker unit.
2. Plug-in your iPod/iPhone.
3. Press the SOURCE key (12) until IPOD is displayed on the LCD display. Playback starts automatically.
4. Press the /key (23) to temporarily interrupt playback. Press it again to resume it.
5. Press TUN+ (6) on the speaker unit or iPod+/TUN+ (21) on the remote control to skip to the next track. Press and hold it to fast
forward.
6. Press TUN- (7) on the speaker unit or iPod-/TUN- (9) on the remote control to skip to the previous track. Press and hold it to rewind.
7. Press the MENU key (15) to view your iPod/iPhone's menu. Use the /navigation keys (19/10) to select the track you want to play.
8. Press PLAY LIST +/- (6) to select the tracks in your iPod/iPhone's Playlist you want to play.
9. Press the ALBUM +/- keys (7) to select the Albums in your iPod/iPhone you want to play.
10. Press the CHAPTER +/- keys (11) to select the Chapters in your iPod/iPhone you want to play.
11. Press and hold the SHUFFLE key (18) to enable random playback. Press and hold it again to disable it.
12. Press the REPEAT key (14) repeatedly to enable the repeat options. You can repeat a single track (the REPEAT sign flashes on the
display) or the whole album (the REPEAT sign appears still on the display). Keep pressing the key until the REPEAT sign disappears to
disable this function.

RADIO FUNCTION
TUNING RADIO STATIONS
1. Turn on the speaker unit.
2. Press the source key (12) until TUNER is displayed on the LCD display.
3. Press TUN+ (6) on the speaker unit or iPod+/TUN+ (21) on the remote control to move forward between radio stations with a 0.05MHz
increase for each pressure. Press and hold it to automatically tune it to the following station.
4. Press TUN- (7) on the speaker unit or iPod-/TUN- (9) on the remote control to move backwards between radio stations with a 0.05MHz
decrease for each pressure. Press and hold it to automatically tune it to the previous station.
5. If you know the frequency you want to listen to, you can enter it using the numeric keypad (3) on the remote control. For instance, if
you want to listen to the radio station on 93.10 MHz, enter the numbers 9, 3, 1, and 0 in sequence. If the bandwidth is exceeded, the
ERROR message will be displayed.
6. Press the ST key (14) to switch from STEREO to MONO and vice-versa.
RADIO FREQUENCY STORAGE
1. Tune in to a radio station.
2. Press and hold the /key (4) on the speaker unit or MEM (23) on the remote control. The "P01" sign will start flashing.
3. Press the TUN+/- keys (6/7) on the speaker unit or TUN+/- (21/9) on the remote control to select where you want to store the radio
station. There are 20 available positions: from P01 to P20.
4. Press the /key (4) on the speaker unit or MEM (23) on the remote control to confirm the position.
5. Repeat steps from 2 to 4 to save the remaining positions.
6. During playback, press the /key (4) on the speaker unit or MEM (23) on the remote control to go through the stored stations.
LINE IN INPUT
The LINE IN input allows to play music from any external device with an audio output.
1. Connect the external device to the LINE IN input as described in INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS on page 13.
2. Turn on the speaker unit.
3. Turn on the external device.
4. Press the SOURCE key (12) until LINE is displayed.
5. Adjust volume and tones as described in BASIC OPERATION on page 13. If the volume is too low, adjust it from the external device.
AUDIO/VIDEO INPUTS - COMPOSITE VIDEO OUTPUT
By using A/V inputs you can play from any audio or audio/video source.
1. Connect the external device to the A/V inputs and a TV/Monitor to the Composite Video output as described in INSTALLATION AND
CONNECTIONS on page 13.
2. Turn on the speaker unit.
3. Turn on the external device.
4. Press the SOURCE key (12) until AV is displayed.
5. Adjust volume and tones as described in BASIC OPERATION on page 13.
6. If the external device has a video signal (e.g. a DVD player), press the VIDEO key (4) to switch to Composite Video output (Y/Pb/Pr) if
it is necessary.
NOTE
Check that the TV/monitor connected to the Composite Video output is set on the respective input. Refer to your TV/monitor's user manual.

By using the Component Video output (Y/Pb/Pr) you can play the videos saved on your iPod/iPhone.
1. Connect a TV/Monitor to the Component Video output (Y/Pb/Pr) described in INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS on page 13.
2. Turn on the speaker unit.
3. Plug-in your iPod/iPhone.
4. Press the SOURCE key (12) until IPOD is displayed on the LCD display.
5. Launch a video on your iPod/iPhone.
6. Press the VIDEO key (4) on the remote control to switch to Component Video output (Y/Pb/Pr).

SUBWOOFER OUTPUT
By using the SUBWOOFER output you can integrate the audio from the speaker with a powered Subwoofer or a Subwoofer connected to
an amplifier.
1. Connect the powered Subwoofer or the amplifier connected to the Subwoofer to the SUBWOOFER output as described in INSTALLATION
AND CONNECTIONS on page 13.
2. Turn on the speaker unit.
3. Turn on the powered Subwoofer or the amplifier.
4. The sound from any source will be integrated with the connected Subwoofer.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the IPD 8450T does not work properly, check this short list before taking it to an authorised TREVI service centre.
In any case, do not try to repair the device, this will void the warranty. Only TREVI service centres are authorised to perform service ope-
rations on this device.
Radio sound is distorted
Look for the right frequency using manual tuning.
Change the speaker unit's location to allow a better signal reception.
Restore speaker unit's factory settings.
No sound coming from the radio
Check that the source is set on TUNER.
Volume is too low. Turn up the volume
MUTE is enabled. Disable MUTE.
Restore speaker unit's factory settings.
iPod/iPhone does not communicate / has no sound
Check that the source is set on IPOD.
Unplug the iPod/iPhone from the connector and check the connector for dirt or obstructions.
Check that the iPod/iPhone works correctly before placing it into its housing.
Volume is too low. Turn up the volume
MUTE is enabled. Disable MUTE.
Restore speaker unit's factory settings.

INSTALLATION BATTERIES DE LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE
Attention : batterie non incluses
Ouvrez le logement des piles au dos de la télécommande.
Placez 2 piles (format AAA) en vous assurant de bien respecter la polarité et les signes indicateurs situés à l'intérieur du logement des
batteries.
Refermez le logement des batteries.
Afin d'éviter la perte de liquide des piles entraînant un endommagement de la télécommande, assurez-vous de bien avoir placé les piles et
de ne pas installer des piles de typologies différentes (vieilles et neuves, alcalines et zinc-carbone, etc.).
