DVD PLAYER USE
MPEG4/DVD/MP3 DISC PLAYBACK
1. Switch on the player.
2. Press the SOURCE key (9) on the remote control and select the DVD function by using the navigation keys.
3. Open the disc tray by pressing OPEN (12).
4. Insert a DVD disc with the title side facing up.
5. Once the disc tray is closed, "Loading..." is displayed on the screen to indicate the disc is being loaded.
6. Disc playback will start automatically.
PLAYBACK STOP
1. Press the STOP key (2) once to pause playback.
2. Press the STOP key (2) again to stop playback.
3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE /II key (1) to resume playback from the beginning.
DVB-T OPERATION (DigitalTerrestrial Device)
Make sure that the supplied antenna is connected to the external antenna socket (20).
The controls on the front panel of the appliance have the same functions as the ones on the remote control.
1. Turn on the player.
2. Press the DVD/DVB key (11) on the remote control to activate the digital terrestrialTV mode.Press it again to go back to the DVD/USB/
SD player mode.
DVB-T FIRST START
The message "First Installation" is displayed on the screen.
1. Select "Yes" using the navigation keys and confirm with the ENTER key (13).
2. Use the navigation keys to select the country for the scanning (default ITALY),the menu language (default ITALIAN) and the activation or
not of the LCN function (Logical Channel Number, automatic channel sorting) and confirm using the ENTER key (13).
The appliance is supplied with the LCN function (Logical Channel Number) which is a national standard for assigning the numeration
of channels in the same manner all over the country where the scanning takes place.
3. Select the message "Forward" using the navigation keys and confirm with the ENTER key (13).
4. The appliance starts the automatic search and storing of all digital channels.
DVB-T MENU
1. Press the SETUP key (19) in DVB mode to access the main menu.
2. Using the navigation keys select the desired entry and press the ENTER key (13).
Press the ENTER key (13) to access the submenus.
Press the RETURN key (21) to exit the submenus.
To navigate into the submenus, press keys .
PROGRAM SEARCH
Automatic Scanning
Start a new automatic scanning of the channels.
- Select Area: select the country (default ITALY).
- LCN control: activate/deactivate the LCN. This appliance is supplied with the LCN function (Logical Channel
Number), which is a national standard for assigning the numeration of channels in the same manner all over the country
where the scanning takes place.
- Start scanning: press ENTER to start the automatic scanning of the channels.The old channel list will be deleted.
Manual Scanning
It is possible to search the channels manually.
- Select Area: select the country (default ITALY).
- Scan Type: perform the search on a single channel (Single Channel) or on a defined set of channels (Range of
Channels).
- First Channel: the channel on which the research is performed (Single Channel) or the first channel of the set of
channels (Range of Channels).
- Last Channel: last channel of the set of channels for the research (Range of Channels).
- LCN control: activate/deactivate the LCN. This appliance is supplied with the LCN function (Logical Channel
Number), which is a national standard for assigning the numeration of channels in the same manner all over the country
where the scanning takes place.
- Start Scanning: press ENTER to start the manual scanning of the channels. The old channel list will be deleted.
DVB-T FUNCTIONS
CHANGING CHANNELS
Press the keys to move forwards or backwards through the channels or use the numeric keyboard (12).
